“Michael,” said Simon; the Grimm was not the only one that had frozen up, but also Simon, who had materialized behind the Grimm like a ghost to attack Grimms.

“As you can see, I had everything under control. Though I appreciate your efforts to save me,” I said before I released him from my strings and turned to the Grimms, who were bound in my strings.

“It was a good fight; I have learned a lot through it,” I said and even had a smile on my face. In return, it is giving me hate, its eyes full of it that, if it could materialize in fire, I would be burned to ashes in less than a moment.

“You should be satisfied with such an end,” I said, seeing its unwilling expression; it was struggling hard, pushing more and more of its powerful burning essence toward my strings to turn them to the crisp

“It is a problem with your Grimms; you never get satisfied, and unfortunately, I could not do anything about that,” I said with a sigh and touched its chest, and the next second, it disappeared.

I turned to the other person, who had been staring at me for quite a while. “I am quite surprised you stayed,” I said to him, and I really am after saving him; I thought he would run away as far away from the battle as possible.

“I am not an ungrateful bastard!” he replied while glaring at me, “You are not,” I said back, which made his glare even more intense with clear anger.

“I hope you will not bind me again, Michael. I do not like the feeling of it,” he said through gritted teeth before closing his eyes, and when he opened them, they became calm; there were barely any emotions in them.

“It was for your own safety, Simon,” I said before walking away.

The battle is finished; there is no use in staying anymore. It could be said that I have already wasted precious time fighting the Grimm, the time which I would have used in collecting more murals and pasting my seals on more glass walls, which I don’t know whether will turn helpful or not.

Within a few seconds, I walked far enough that I could not feel Simon’s soul sense on my back anymore.

I may not have said it, nor I will ever to that bastard, but I am quite impressed by him. Not many people would have done what he did.

Most would have run away seeing the enemy’s power, and he had plenty of chance in the two hours, but he did not. Instead, he stayed and even attacked, at last, seeing me in danger, knowing there was less than a 1% chance of his rescuing me and nearly 100% chance of him dying.

Not many people have such courage.

A few minutes passed, and one of the most powerful Grimm under the Grand Lord class died, turned into the essence rose. It is quite a regret the bastard did not have a bloodline; if it had, its essence would have helped the garden tremendously.

Not that my garden needed it, but always welcome, especially now when I primmed the plants in my core once again.

I have collected all the resources I will need for my breakthrough, and there are thousands more in the boxes that will be useful to others. I was lucky enough to get enough growth energy Grimms to grow and harvest the resources I needed.

The extra resources are wonderful breakthrough resources, and I will give them to any human who I think is close to a breakthrough.

Now, I have once again primed the garden, removed even more plants, and planted a few new seeds. These I have done with an eye on the future.

I have learned through experience that the sooner you begin to prepare for the future, the greater benefits you will have. For others with my power, the next stage may be the final one, but too few like me or close to me, it is not the case.

After seeing all those inheritances and reading the books, I know I could reach that level, and the only thing I need is time.

Hun!

Once again, I saw the murder through the glass wall, a Grimm killing a human; it immediately wiped away the silly thoughts in my mind and immediately forced me to think of the present rather than the future, where I have a habit of wonder off.

I wish I could say this is a rarity, but it is very common; both races, when they come across each other, will try to kill each other.

They would not give up, even when the enemy had similar strength; it would instead increase killing intent in their heart, just like it had happened with the Grimm I had just. Even after fighting for more than two hours, instead of giving up, it burned its essence to kill me.

A few more hours passed, and I came across a couple of humans and Grimms, all of whom I had killed. Some of them had delicious bloodlines, which have helped me tremendously, and the new seeds I have planted have quickly reached the level of High-Grandmaster.

This place had made quite a number of High-Grandmasters, more than what I made in the project or even Grimms through there, which is bad for us but also great for me; their essence roses and the bloodlines have been more than helpful.

Thinking of essence roses, I couldn’t turn to my clone, which was working on the inheritance. If it hadn’t been working on the inheritance, I would have had it process all the essence roses; I have collected quite a few of them, and it is time for me to turn them into those amazing things.

It was the twenty-third hour when the glittering glass walls appeared and disappeared, closing the old routes, bringing out the new ones and with few Grimms and humans on different sides.

Hun!

I moved to deal with the Grimms when suddenly I stopped; it could be said I froze for a moment before a big bright smile appeared on my face.

I turned my back and looked at the wall that appeared behind me; this wall was special because it was the first wall that appeared to have the seal, which I had placed on it about five hours ago.

“Die human!”

I was looking at studying the mural when a frown appeared on my face as a huge Crockman appeared in front of me and swung its ax with the full power of the High Grandmaster.

BANNNG!

“Fuck off!” I said, and as if a cannonball collided against the Grimm, it blasted off and crashed against the glass wall at left.

I did not spare even a glance at the Grimm before turning back to the mural or, rather, the glass wall with my seal.

The mural is different than what it had earlier, which is not surprising. I quickly copied it, and it appeared on a different corner of my core.

The mural on the wall is like others; it cannot connect but is part of the same story. Still, I felt it is an important piece and would help me in solving this puzzle in a big way.
