Three days passed since that great battle, and Grimms seemed to have changed their strategy of coming hard and fast with a lot of numbers.
Now, there are a limited number of Grimms on the battlefield, every time, there are not more than nine of them, and it frustrates the Supreme Commander a lot because the Grimms that came are not anyone could deal with.
They are the strongest Grimms, and we needed to send our strongest to fight them; we could not send our new Grand Lords, even if sent then the triple number, they would be slaughtered.
The part that frustrated Supreme Commander the most was that she knew that Grimms were doing something but did not know what they were doing and couldn’t do anything against it.
With the numbers they have, they could have the confidence to handle pretty much everything, but there are a lot of uncertainties that make things extremely dangerous.
I had gone to fight two times these past two days, and both times wasn’t able to kill the Grimms I had fought. It was the same Mazla and Nras, both bastards are powerful, and even when they attacked me separately, I couldn’t do anything against them.
“It is good we have changed; this one was working better than the last one,” she said, looking at Patriarch Bradford lying in the huge coffin, with thousands of strings piercing into his body.
We have changed the method we used on it, as it was not giving us the desired result. This one was working better, it had been just ten minutes, and it had given us the result that the old one used to give us in an hour.
While the method is better, it also takes a lot of resources.
My own resources are not enough; I am using the resources from their own organization. They have given me complete access to their treasuries, I could just go there and pick whatever I wanted, and there will be no questions asked.
I had done that in the morning; I directly teleported to the Blood Sun and one of their old men took me to the treasuries.
I have already gone through all the treasuries of nine-Supremes in the past two days, and while I had to spend my precious time doing that, it is a good thing I did.
There are a huge number of resources there; the ones that interested me most are those that aren’t classified. Nobody knew about them, so they kept them in special storages until some people found out about them, and they moved them to the main treasuries according to their categorization.
Still, there are a huge number of unknown things that have been gathering dust there for thousands of years; that over 90% of them are unknown, even to me.
I have taken a lot of things from them, even unknown ones; some of them were desired by my core, while some I have found interesting and some I had needed, and they are helping me a lot.
Right now, I have used more than ten things I have taken from those unknowns thing in this treatment of Patriarch Bradford.
Buzz Buzz!
I was studying the changes in the meta-scan of patriarch Bradford when my watch buzzed and when I saw who it was, I turned it silent.
“You should take his call,” said Grandmistress Charline, “He is irritating,” I replied, “Still, he was the foremost healer of the world before you came, and he had a vast knowledge of healing,” she said, and I opened my mouth to refute her, but could not find words for that.
What she had said was right.
“Fine,” I said and typed the messages, fixing the appointment with him; he might be a selfish bastard, but it is without a doubt, the bastard has a vast knowledge of healing.
His knowledge is even greater than mine, and the only reason I do better is because of the abilities I have designed and the rule-bending.
There are few things I want from the old man, and I am sure I could satiate some of his curiosities. I have already recorded what he needs.
It is not like I had met him; I did two days ago, but I walked away after ten minutes of contact. The bastard is really sufferable and full of himself.
I shook my emotions and focused on Patriarch and manipulated the strings. In this method, I needed to be constantly in control; the energies are quite volatile and could bore a huge hope through the old man if they went out of control.
“Marina looked happier these days,” said Grandmistress Charline a few minutes later. “Her sister has returned; she is helping her cope with things,” I replied with a sigh.
Professor had made some things complicated, but I am glad she came. She is helping Marina through a lot.
I just wish she didn’t have to leave today for a mission; the mission is not long, and she will be able to return by tomorrow, but still I worry about her.
There are very powerful Grand Lords are roaming around the world, and even though the methods of Professor are good. That it would be hard for those powerful Grand Lords to discover her, and there would be rescuing a moment she desired, but it is still dangerous.
She is not strong enough; there are many Grand Lords who could kill her before she could even think about the rescue.
She had left, and there was nothing I could do about it other than hope she would be careful and use the thing I had given her to escape in time if there was any danger.
I focused back on the meta-scan of patriarch Bradford and the constant changes that are occurring in it. Those changes are positive, but few intelligent people could also see the side-effect this volatile method is leaving behind in its wake.
For that, I have created a special concoction of the healing energy; it contains my own healing energy and also life-force crystals, mixed with some of its bark and pieces of roots along with seven other different things.
This concoction of healing energy would spread into hundreds of affected parts and heal them quickly as possible, before the damage could become fatal.
It could happen very quickly.

As I have said, this method is dangerous enough to bore a huge hole into the Patriarch’s body. So, I needed to be careful every second.
Many people might fear using this method given the chance of dying, but it is safe in my hand. Even if I get distracted, the formation I have created will find damage without stopping and healing it.
While it would not be perfect as me doing things, but still be perfect.
Soon, over one and a half hours passed, and I started to pull back my strings from the patriarch; when I pulled the last string out of him, he opened his eyes.
“How are you feeling, Patriarch Bradford?” I asked, “Bad,” he replied. “I am feeling like millions of tiny bombs exploded inside me,” he added.
Hearing that, a smile couldn’t help but appear on my and Grandmistress Charline’s face as exactly that had happened.
“Don’t worry; the feeling is temporary; you will soon begin to feel fine,” I replied.
