The source gate had closed after a little over two hours; it had brought out an immense amount of energy.
It is not an amount of energy, but a quality that was shocking and Kara had absorbed such a quality of energy in such a huge amount.
Now, I am excited and scared. Excited because I want to see the height of the power she will reach after absorbing such energy and scared because I will be an ant in front of her.
Which she could crush easily.
I have made preparations, but I hope I do not need to use it. As things will turn extremely dangerous for me.
Hun!
I was waiting for the merging of body and soul to begin when something surprising happened.
I sensed the intense burst of energy from her temple.
It had remained active for only a second before turning into something even more shocking.
The intense energy fluctuation disappeared and now I am seeing the blob in her temple. This white blob is not normal, it is small but contains a massive number of energies. More than even the source had provided.
It had shocked me so much that my mind had frozen for a moment.
As I had come to myself, I saw the blob moving fast, and within a second; it had appeared beside the core.
It is massive energy and if it went to the core. It will blast it into pieces, and Kara with it. Even I won't be able to survive.
I opened my mouth to warn Kara when I realized something. Instantly, all the tension left my face, and a smile appeared.
I had been such an idiot, I should have recognized what it is, the moment it had appeared.
This blob of massive energies is nothing, a final seal or the Grand Seal of Supreme Combat Exercise. It contains colossal energies and those who are able to create it receive massive benefits.
The blob, which is bigger than the core had seeped inside it, before completely disappearing.
The only sign it had even to have been present was the faint green sheen covering the core. It had remained there for little more than ten seconds before it slowly disappeared.
It had fully disappeared and there was no change in the core, but there was. I will see it soon.
A few seconds passed, and the merging of body and soul begin. As it did, faint green energy come out, making this exceptionally dangerous process, a little safer.
It does not only make it safer but also makes the merging perfect with no flaws.
I had read about its benefits and decided not to make a breakthrough in Sovereign before that. What I am seeing had still shocked me and further reinforced the promise I had made.
It will not be easy.
I had already created the nine ruby seals and was extremely close to creating the tenth one. I only need to create a last amethyst seal, which will make it ten, and form a ruby seal, which will make ten ruby seals.
Giving me the final seal.
I am just a step away, but that step is the hardest. I have tried thousands of times but failed every time in creating that amethyst seal.
Still, I have time till I reach a Peak level of Primary III, but I would try to create it sooner. It is always great to prepare.
More than three hours passed when the preliminary merge finished, and the consolidation of the core begins. Compared to all the processes, it is quite fast. In less than ten minutes, the consolidation is finished.
I looked at her core, and it feels like a massive blue sun, containing pure water elemental energy instead of fire.
Buzz!
I was watching her core when it buzzed and released a massive number of energies. Just seeing the quality of it, I couldn't help but get shocked.
It is very pure, far more than any Primary-III breaking through Sovereign had. Even Sor couldn't compare to it.
It did not flood through her, flowed into her, and begin to merge with every cell. I could see her getting stronger by the moment and the speed she was getting, had blown my mind.
I have never seen something like it.
Those who level up before are nothing compared to Kara. She would be able to beat every one of them with no problem.
Minutes passed, and finally, she absorbed every drop of her energy.
She had become powerful enough to fight against Peak Sovereign like Rost. She might not be able to defeat him, but fighting and escaping from someone like him wouldn't be a problem for her.
This is her strength when she is an Initial Sovereign. I can't imagine the strength she will have when she advanced to Mid and High or Peak.
She will be unstoppable there.
"Congratulations," I said as she opened her eyes. "Thank you," she said and looked around the breakthrough formation.
"Your breakthrough artifact is amazing," she added. "It is, and it took a lot of resources to advance it to this degree," I said. Hinting, what I am meaning to convey.
She understood it, as her cheeks had reddened, and crystalline lines across her body radiated in faint pink light.
It did not happen before.
This reaction seemed to embarrass her even more, as her cheeks reddened further. While the crystalline lines across her body radiated a darker shade of pink.
She glared at me before closing her. When she opened them again, she had her emotions under control, while the lines across her body, flashed in, and glowed in multicolor light as always.
"I will give you back resources after we escape from here." She said, and I smiled before my expression turned serious.
"So, the escape?" I asked. "Don't worry, I have a way. Just give me a few minutes to get control over my power," she said and closed her eyes.
Her few minutes turned out to be one hour and three minutes before she opened them and turned to me.
"The way I have will bring us out through the main gate," she informed. "They will be waiting there," I added, to which she nodded.
"I have a method to control the aura and change its signature to some degree," she said and removed the crystal.
"There is no need for it," I said immediately. My aura changed to completely different. It had happened so smoothly that it had shocked her.
"It is good, but we could still be found out. So be ready to fight," she said, and I smiled.
She gave me the look before walking toward the wall and placing her hand on it. To my surprise, the emblem of lake command appeared on her wrist, before flowing out of it and appearing on the wall.
As it did, it became bigger, till it covered the whole wall.
For a couple of seconds, nothing had happened before finally. The trident in the center disappeared and in its place, a door appeared.
"Ready?" she asked. I nodded as I appeared beside.
"Legs go then," she said, and we both stepped into the door; finally escaping.
