"This human is a cockroach. It continued surviving no matter how much you hit it," said the Werewolf.
Rip!
"Then is not its fault, but yours. You are too weak to kill it.," said Ratman to prove its point.
It attacked and left behind a straight line on my back.
"Why are you killing it, then? If you are so powerful," challenged the Werewolf angrily.
"It is no challenge to me, little Wolfman, but I was hoping you would kill it, but it seemed like I had underestimated you.
"Even with my aid, you are incapable of landing even a single attack on it," it said, and sighed, before attacking me again.
It did not even look at me when it did that. It stared into the eyes of the Werewolf tauntingly.
It had been a minute and three seconds since the strengthening energy had been released. It had done an amazing job inside me and now I am going to show it to these bastards.
Especially to the Ratman, who is not even looking at me.
When I come across weak Grimms. I taunt them; I mock them, but I never kept my eyes away from them.
My soul sense would always be locked on them, but Ratman, so confident of its abilities, forget looking. It is not even keeping its soul sense locked on me.
Even the Werewolf with all its advantages had not dared to be one bit careless since our fight begin.
It is likely why it is the first to notice the strangeness in my movements.
"Watch out!"
Puch!
The Werewolf screamed the warning, but it was too late. I had avoided the sword of Ratman by hairbreadth and appeared in front of it, before piercing my sword into its chest directly.
It watched in shock, and then horror as it struggled to move, but it was powerless.
I crushed the last of its struggle and pulled it into my core.
It had only been a minute, and my injuries have not healed. I could not even use all my strength but used most of it.
I was going to wait for a little before revealing my power, but Ratman was idiot enough to give me the opportunity to kill it and I took it, without any hesitation.
Killing it in a single strike.
I turned back and avoided the powerful attack of claw from the Werewolf by an inch, before turning to it.
"It is your time to die, little Werewolf," I said and took a step toward it. It kind of expected that, seeing the defensive methods that materialized in front of it, while it tried to run away.
Puch!
I appeared at its back before attacking. It was a smooth attack. My sword pierced through all its defenses with needle sharpness, before burrowing into its heart.
"Basta"
It opened its mouth to curse, but could not curse fully as it disappeared into my core.
Sigh!
I took a sigh and wiped away all sweat on my forehead while letting the strengthening energy into the flesh wound.
Which begins to make them heal rapidly.
I had taken an enormous risk, which had become worse. I had survived it, but not all because of my abilities. Mostly because of luck.
I was lucky and survived. Next time, I won't be. So, I have to be careful, very careful, otherwise, I wouldn't survive the night, much less the battle tomorrow.
I cleared the few signs of battle that I could before moving ahead.
I want to rest badly and strengthening my energy helps. It did not thoroughly wipe away all the tiredness.
Still, it is helping as my body and soul absorb.
A few minutes passed, and I have finished absorbing the strengthening energy from the Bearman, and now Ratman's energy flowed into me.
As I had expected, it is more powerful than the Bearman. It is giving me a rapid rise in strength while helping my plants grow faster.
After what I had experienced, I am going to need those plants more.
They are the only reason I am even standing. Without them, I wouldn't have survived those waves of stray energies from the battle.
Soon, those energies also been absorbed and I have never felt so strong. The Grimms with bloodlines have increased my strength tremendously. I am not more confident about surviving.
Though, before I fight more. I need to rest. Not much. A half an hour to an hour would be more than fine.
What I had faced did not change my mind about hunting Grimms. It is dangerous without a doubt, but it is also a fast way to advance, and if I want to return to the real world from this ruin, I will need strength.
It will help me tremendously in the battle tomorrow, and the ones I will face after that.
From what I heard, this is not the only region where the Grimms have come. I had predicted it and it did not make me feel good being right.
It is the truth, and it is also a truth that I will need to fight several battles to get out of this ruin.
Soon, I reached one of the hidden spots that Nero had found. I reached there before taking out an isolation formation.
The first thing I did after that was to eat.
All this fighting had made me hungry. So much that I ate two boxes of the meal and felt bloated.
That I had to lie down.
It is not the position I want to be in this dangerous place, but it is the only position that felt comfortable in my condition.
Ahhhh
I moaned in comfort before closing my eyes. Not to sleep, I could sleep within a second if I want to, but it is not the time to sleep.
I entered my core and the first thing I looked for was Nero. He is still sleeping.
That bubbling tar cloud is something to make Nero sleep. Not many things make Nero sleep and even those do. Only make him sleep for a few hours and not a whole day.
Ashlyn is also sleeping and unlike her usual sleep. Where she wakes up for a few minutes several times a day, but this time, she did not up for a second.
I don't know how long they will sleep, but I wish Nero had been awake. He would have been very helpful, especially earlier.
With his strength, he wouldn't have had any problem dealing with the Werewolf. After I killed the Bearman and even Ratman at full strength and fully alert state.
I shook my head and stop thinking about the ifs.
I looked around my core for a minute before withdrawing from my core. It would not be rest if I keep working in my core.
Even with the two doses of strengthening energy, my injuries have not fully healed. Though they have healed enough that I could access my full power.
I closed my eyes again and within a few seconds; I fell asleep.
'Wake up,'
I slept for exactly forty-five minutes, before waking up my clone. I woke up within a second, before getting up, feeling rested.
I checked everything before stepping out of my hiding spot. As it is time to resume hunting, the Grimms again.
