Chapter 3289 Hand



Rip!

A small broken formation came at me and rip through my shoulder, before crashing against the door and moving back.

This time, I am thankfully able to avoid it.

It had been two and a half seconds since all the hell broke loose and I was seriously injured, with a couple of formations striking me.

Thank God, none of the truly dangerous ones had struck me, but they could at the moment, seeing fucking chaos happening outside. Much bigger and more powerful than I had imagined.

The only reason I am safe is because there is a repelling field around the door. It would repeal the powerful energy attacks that broken formation is releasing.

It is repealing only attacks and not the formations, which are cutting through me like a hot butter knife through the butter. One had nearly gone through my heart and if it was not for me moving at last time, I would have been dead.

As for what happened to the corrupted, they are dead. It only took a second for the attacks from the broken formations to vaporize them.

Three more formations cut through me, one nearly split me into two before I was able to open the door enough for me to enter inside.

I didn't even look, at what is inside and just stepped inside the door and was glad, the door closed behind me.

I slumped by the door and found myself in a medium size room; there is, nothing in the room, except for a white marble stand. I look above it, as clearly as it is to hold something, but to my surprise, I found nothing.

I looked around and saw nothing; seeing that, a smile couldn't help, but appear on my face.

The smile did not contain sadness or disappointment, just simple mirth.

I fucking don't care if the room didn't have anything. I got the most precious thing about me, my life.

It is the most precious thing and for it; I am willing to sacrifice any opportunity or resources.

As only being alive, I will be able to find new opportunities.

I closed my eyes and rested, while the seven healing formations and my energy heal the injuries. They are quite serious and would need some time, but I don't mind; it is going to take some time to calm the chaos outside, anyway.

Minutes passed, and my injuries healed slowly. If it had normal physical injuries, it would have taken only a few minutes, but those formations left something nasty and it will be some time to deal with them.

Soon, I adjusted my position and laid down on the floor, as it is more comfortable.

A moment later, I was at my core and looked at the footage of the chaos outside. I am alive, but couldn't be said, I have survived. I could only say it when I get out of a mess of the broken formation outside.

Which is going to be an arduous task, but one with far greater chances of survival than I would have when going against the corrupted.

A single slap from them would have been enough to finish me off.

Looking at the footage, I am finding much of anything. The formations are still moving, I would need them still, before I could chart my way out of here.

So, I looked at the footage for a few minutes before closing it and focused on the other things.

Three hours passed, and I was working on my inheritance, while the last bit of my injuries heal when I received the message from Nero.

Immediately, a huge, wide projection appeared in front of me, and I saw what Nero seeing.

A four-armed earth-skin native appeared in front of the Grimm, who was hiding. A moment later, it had revealed itself and soon; they begin fighting.

I could only see a blur of their fight. They are too fast for me.

Both of them are peak sovereigns, hell-bent on killing each other, but it is clear from the beginning that the four-armed natives had the edge. Seeing how he is pushing the Grimm back with every attack.

Over ten minutes passed, and now the Grimm is all bloody. The native is dominating it.

Three more minutes passed when a sudden change occurred, but one that was expected. The Grimm, begin to run away and the native chased after it; one should be an idiot if they let such prey get away.

He chased and within a few seconds, both of them had disappeared from Nero's view.

A few minutes passed, and I saw no sign of the four-armed natives. I had feared something had happened to him when he returned to view and moved toward them cautiously.

It looked around the Grimms who were hiding but did not make a move on them and instead moved toward the rift.

Soon, it appeared in front of it, looking out. I thought he would take a step when, a few minutes later; I saw him retreating from the gate fast.

He had crossed a huge distance within seconds and was about to disappear from Nero's view when something shocking happened.

An invisible hand appeared from the ground; it is invisible, and that peak Sovereign wouldn't discover it. Even the four-armed men didn't discover him until the hand reached close to him.

Nero did. His abilities let him see all the spectrums of energy; no matter how good they are, Nero will see them.

The four-armed men sensed it finally and tried to get away, but it was too late. The hand enveloped him and brightened him to the ground.

To those who were looking; they will see the four-armed men suddenly disappearing from the air. Unless, of course, they are an Earth Sovereign; it is the Earth Sovereign, who did the deed.

I was right about trusting my instinct. It was a fucking trap.

I don't know whether the other side of the rift had Grimms or not, but I would not go there. A fucking Earth Sovereign is guarding this place.

I was thinking about that when suddenly something surprising happened. The invisible hand came out of the ground near the gate and threw the four-armed men in the gate.

In an instant, he passed through the gate and appeared on the other side before disappearing while the hand went back to the ground.

I am still shocked; I had not expected to see something like it.

I thought the hand would have killed the four-armed men, before instead, it had been thrown into the rift.

Now, it is clear, the other side has Grimms. It wouldn't have thrown the four-armed men into the rift, just for the fun.

I shuddered and asked Nero to be careful. There is freaking Earth Sovereign there, once discovered, no matter how great Nero's abilities are; the Earth Sovereign will have him.

He also seemed to understand that as he sealed his power more tightly.

I watched Nero for an hour before I ate and slept for four hours before waking up. Nero is still hiding and he will do it till the night.

It will be easier for him to leave in the cloak of thinking energy than daylight. I will not wait that long.

I will leave immediately.
