Chapter 3294 Blood Burst



"Now, die!" it roared and came at me. Its speed was so great that I could barely track it with my eyes.

Still, I moved, with every speck of burst roaring into my veins.

So, what if it is strong? I had killed too many such enemies and it will be another such of Grimm. Soon, I will have it inside my storage, with its bloodline harnessed by my runes.

As reached next to each other, it's attacked. Its claw is so fast, I need to use every bit of the strength I have and even then, I have barely reached it.

Its claw clashed against my sword, and I felt as if a mountain had clashed against it.

I had remained on my spot for a moment, before shooting back like a broken doll while vomiting the blood with the pieces of flesh on it.

I remained in the air for a bare two seconds, before crashing into the broke wall standing alone. As I hit it, it too had turned into the dust, taking away, the momentum from me safely.

I stood up immediately despite broken bones and injured internals and looked at the Grimm, who is on its spot, with a huge lion phantom covering it.

"You survived," it said and came at me again at even greater speed.

It is clear, the next attack is going to be even more powerful, something I couldn't bear with the power I have.

There are now only three choices in front of me, keep fighting with the power I have, which will definitely get me killed. As the power, I have is not enough to deal with it.

The second one is escape, which results in the same conclusion. As I don't have enough speed to get away from it.

It will kill me before I could even get out of the range of the stealth field.

The third option is to use the last option, which I had not used in a long time, but using it has consequences of its own, but if I did, there is a certain death.

Not every consequence is better than death, but this one is.

Blood Burst!

I activated my last option, the one I hadn't used in a long time, but at the moment I used it. I felt as if my essence had turned into the sun, providing me with immense power.

It was only a thin stream of power, but it filled my body and soul to the brim; that I felt like I might explode.

The treatments have affected many parts of my body, including my essence, which is more powerful than normal, and thus burning it provides more power than it naturally would.

I didn't hide the essence burning; I even thickened the scarlet aura intentionally for my enemy to see.

I moved toward it, and a moment later, appeared next to it. Immediately, it swiped its claw at me while I swung my sword.

Our swords clashed and powerful shockwaves spread around me, but this time, I didn't shake.

"Hehe. Essence burning, how long will you be able to continue with this," it said, "Long enough to kill you," I replied and attacked.

Immediately, it swung its sword to claw to defend, before attacking me with its tail.

It was a powerful attack, but I bore it.

Though, I didn't feel any joy doing that. I am burning my essence with every action.

I need to kill it as soon as possible, but it is not easy.

Though it might not be easy, I will kill it and it had already made things easier for me, with this energy phantom. It is a phenomenal method, but someone like me could exploit it.

I had already started, and I have to be quick. I couldn't afford to spend too much of my bloodline energy on it.

It is not the only danger here, in this place.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

It continued attacking me, with each of its attacks getting faster and stronger. It wants me to spend my bloodline essence; once that is done, I would be a fish on its chopping board.

Not even be capable of defending against its attacks.

I defended against its attacks and attacked with my own, but it defended against them easily. Its power is immense, and I hate to admit it, but I had been wrong in estimating its abilities.

It is stronger than I had thought and if I had known it. I don't think I would have picked up a fight against it.

I could not change the past, but I have the power to change the future and I will do it. It may be strong, but I will defeat it and use the strengthening energy from it to recover.

A minute passed, and I continued launching attack after attack while defending against its attacks, unable to do anything against it.

"It is turning out to be fun, human. I love a fight, where you natives fight with everything you have before I crush you, with every hope you have in your heart," it said in deep excitement and intensified its attack, forcing me to go on the defensive.

Another minute had passed, and the change begin to occur; my power had started weakening.

At first, it was just shaking, before I started to take a step back, and then my skin turns pale.

BANNG!

Finally, I couldn't hold myself anymore and the attack sent me back, and like the last time, I hit the wall, but this time harder.

I struggled to move, but couldn't anymore, despite trying hard.

It appeared in front of me but didn't attack. Instead, it looked at me, with that huge mouth that could swallow me whole easily.

"You have used everything human and now you will die," it said with bubbling excitement and opened its huge feline mouth and moved it to swallow me.

I struggled to get away, but could not and got swallowed by the thick mouth. It did not crush me immediately. Instead, I found myself covered in thick, white, oppressive bloodline energy and moving.

Soon, I had stopped, and the Grimm appeared in front of me, with a grin on its face.

"You have to give me great joy, human, and now I will eat you; I hope you taste as good as you fight," it said and moved its clawed hand toward me.

I tried to struggle, but the thick, white bloodline energy, is keeping me locked. That I couldn't even twice.

A smile of joy appeared in its eyes, seeing it.

Its huge, clawed hand reached for me and was about to pick me up when something shocking happened.

It froze, along with the whole Grimms.

The bloodline energy containing me had now contained it, with crimson energy, which revealed itself. It had mixed with bloodline energy, without Grimm sensing it.

I moved immediately; I only have a second to kill it, even less than it, seeing it had already started moving.

I have to kill it and, like I had said, earlier, I will do it. Just the price I am paying is greater than I thought.
