Chapter 3301 Short Cut

Name:Monster Integration Author:Anwan

"Mind telling me what that was?" I asked as we turned back toward the bridge after the stele disappeared.

He didn't answer and just kept walking and soon we were on the bridge, and I was shocked to see all the water in the lake had disappeared.

He waved his hand and a simple small glass bottle to his hand and disappeared.

"I would appreciate it. If you share some of that with me," I said, and, once again, he didn't respond. Which frustrated me, but what cannot do?

I can't simply loot him. It will be hard for me to defeat him, not to mention is not the place to fight.

I crossed the bridge with him and moved through the Sovereigns, who have started to panic. Till now, all of them are focused on the defense, activating as much as defensive methods for them, but soon, that will change.

I had just thoughts that when a High-Sovereign's aura soured and the next second, hundreds of lances materialized around him.

Seeing that, I increased my speed further; I want to cross the gate as soon as possible. Once the attack started, everyone will start attacking.

I feel bad for the weak Sovereign, but what I could do; I couldn't just take them. It will jeopardize my own life.

These people have acted calmly, and it is showing they could.

The man who had summoned the lances hadn't used them. He is just moving them around itself; I am not worried about natives as I am worried about the Grimms.

These bastards are most untrustworthy, but even they seemed to have some self-control to not attack madly.

Soon we reached the gate when he looked back and did something. I don't know what he did, but suddenly, all the natives turned toward the Grimms, and the powerful aura blasted off their bodies.

BANG BANG BANG

They begin attacking the moment I stepped out of the gate. I didn't look at what is happening, instead turned to a while the world beastman.

"I know a shortcut," I said and moved in the opposite direction, of where I came from earlier. I didn't even look at him, to see him following or not.

While I want water, there is nothing I could do about it.

It is powerful and, seeing the way, he had simply discarded the tree; he is not much worried about the resources.

A hesitated for a moment, before starting to follow me.

I have never walked in this way, but I have a map in front of my eyes. When I was hitting the dome, Nero was exploring this place, and it is a lot deeper than I had thought it is and has many good things.

If I had unlimited time and no hurry to find an exit, I would have explored this place after everyone left, but I did not do those things.

Four minutes and fifty-two seconds later, we got out, but we need to get out of here as soon as possible. The effect of the empire of mist worn down for most powerful by now and if they have finished fighting, they would come for us.

"We have to move fast," I said, and I kept moving and the white wolf-man kept following me.

Hun!

We had just taken a few seconds when suddenly something shocking happened. The changes begin to appear in the White Wolf Beastman.

They were rapid that, little more than a minute later; he is a blue blur horned man, with green skin and a very handsome face, which is very different from the previous.

I couldn't help but admire his ability.

A few seconds after that, changes begin to appear in me. My hair turned green, I become even taller, and more muscles begin to appear on me.I think you should take a look at

Soon, I transformed into a man in his mid-thirties with average features.

"A good method," he praised, and I looked at him. "Not as good as yours," I replied, and he smiled.

His method is really good. He had changed his race completely. Not only that, but his aura had also changed. Aside from his level, everything had changed, and I couldn't see any connection between him and the white wolf beastman.

I shouldn't be surprised.

"So, what does a person from the mist realm doing in the prime world?" I asked. I am really curious about it, especially after seeing that stele.

"None of your business," he replied plainly.

I smiled and didn't take it to heart. I had expected the answer from him, but just wanted to ask the question.

"So, the water?" I asked, and he finally turned to me. "How were you able to defend yourself from my art?" he asked back.

"As I had said, I have a lot of practice," I replied, and a moment later. A glass bottle flew toward me and I caught it.

I was about to open my mouth to thank him when I stopped suddenly.

As there was only a bucketful of water and white it enough, I expected more, seeing he took the entire lake's worth of it.

"So, you know someone who comprehended the art?" he asked, and I smiled.

I am not going to answer that. Though he is intelligent enough to guess the answer to this question.

"Monster coming from seven o'clock," I informed and begin to look for a place when suddenly, I had stopped when mist begin to cover me.

I deactivated my stealth method and contained my aura, which again took him by surprise.

My mother had an empire of mist, my sister had it; I know how it worked and how amazing it is when exploring the runes.

Two minutes and seven seconds later; the monster appeared, and it was just a hundred meters away from us and didn't sense us at all.

I wouldn't have been surprised. If it had been a normal monster, but it was Peak Sovereign and it didn't discover us when we were not hiding, but moving.

If the mist wasn't covering us; it would have discovered us already, but here, it just sniffed around, before moving away.

"Man, I get jealous of you host of grands. You could make difficult things, so effortless," I complained and for some reason, my words seemed to have shocked him.

"How many hosts of Grand Arts, you know?" he asked, and I realized the answer and it put a grin on my face.

"Not going to tell you," I replied in a sing-song voice, which made him glare at me.

Twenty more minutes passed, and I was alerted about another monster.

That is when Nero sensed a High-Sovereign native. It was the same native who was building underground. I didn't alert the person beside me as the Sovereign is far away from us and not coming in our direction.

I looked toward the sky; in an hour, the sky will begin to darken, and I will need to find shelter.

The question is, what can I do to get that water from him? It is important to me. It will not help me now, but also during the level-up and after, but he isn't willing to give me anymore.

I have to find ways to get more; that didn't involve answering risky questions. He already knows more than he needs to.
