Chapter 3322 Death Chasing



"Left," I said and moved to the tunnel on the left.

It had been an hour since we had resumed our journey, and we were moving fast; faster than before.

We have suffered and barely survived. Now, we don't want to stay in this place more than we need to. The storm is dangerous, but it is not the only danger; there are monsters and even Grimms and natives.

I took another turn before stopping suddenly when I saw a single purple root. Seeing it, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

The root is a healing type of medicine. The first one I had found since we resumed our journey. I have already decided to prioritize the healing resources but also developed the formations that will help me effectively harness their power at maximum.

It took me two and a half seconds to harness the root and resumed our journey again.

Another hour and a half passed, and we continued moving through the tunnel. Always keeping an eye on the storm and monsters and other dangers.

Suddenly, I had stopped, and he stopped with me, before looking at me with questions. "There are two Grimms and a native ahead," I informed.

"At what level?" he asked. "High-Sovereign," I informed. "It is the group with Black Owl Beastman, but the Owl Beastman didn't seem to be them," I added.

"We will them," he said, and we walked them sneakily, till he could sense them. I could clearly see them through my soul sense. Though, they have not been discovered yet and wouldn't be till we maintained such distance.

"I am ready," he said a minute later and turn to me. "I will be fine," I said, and he handed me the small rod.

I moved, and my speed is not slow. The Grimms immediately discovered me and were ready when we come to face to face.

"Human!" said the Werewolf, before its eyes fell on my neck and saw no collar on it. "How did you remove the collar?" it asked, while a powerful aura blasted off its body.

"I had an artifact," I answered and jumped at it, and it responded with shining claws, grinning with a smile.

"Well then, I am going to take it off your dead body," it said and attacked. Its attack is not much faster than mine; it could be said our power is about the same, despite it being a whole level higher than me and me being injured.

I am injured, but that doesn't mean, I couldn't use my strength; I could some of it.

A slightly over 20%, which is greater than when I was at Mid-Primary III. Not to mention, the assault of this place's energy and breakthrough after merging more forbidden power into me, lowering the intense suppression.

It all makes me powerful here, and Grimms is easy to kill when I have the aid of Ragas.

"Die!" it shouted and swung its claws at me, with its full power.

The claws came closer and closer and just when they were able to hit me; they froze with the rest of its body. It shocked it and froze the smile on the face of the other Grimm, who was watching.

My sword pierced through its chest, and a moment later, I used the small rod to take off its collar before sending it to my core.

The collar is dangerous; there is a self-destruct function. The moment it dies, the collar will explode, and it is powerful enough to wipe out everyone below the Earth Sovereign.

"Now it's your turn," I said to Chimpman and moved toward it.

Three seconds later, it was in the core, and soon, the harvest will start, and I was quite excited. As the Werewolf had the bloodline and I want to see whether it will be able to help me heal or not.

"I thought you were injured," said Ragas as he came behind me. "I am," I replied, but it seemed like he was having a hard time believing me.I think you should take a look at

I don't care. I only care about him taking me to the healing place. That's what matters to me the most.

Finally, the Grimms turned to the dust and the strengthening energy came out of my runes and entered the body.

I watched it excitedly, but a minute later, the excitement had dampened. The energy healed my injuries, but only by 2.1%, which is a lot less than I had expected.

Though, if I am seeing it right. If I had killed an Earth Sovereign; the result would have been much better, but even when fully recovered, I will be an ant in front of the Earth Sovereign, as I am right now.

So, it is better, I think about other options of healing I have.

As the Grimms won't be enough, even if I killed a lot of them. After some more healing, their bloodline energy would stop affecting my injuries.

Three hours passed, and according to my clone, we are making steady progress, but even it couldn't estimate how long it would take us to get out of this place.

The tunnel system is complex, and the data from the Grimm and Ragas is not complete to accurately form a model of a wall. If I am able to reach the other side, I will have all the data I need.

Even if the tunnels shifted; I won't be having as many as problems, I am having right now.

As we make our way toward the tunnels, Nero is also moving steadily. Not stopping anything other than killing the Grimms and collect resources; he is doing that more than before.

I didn't tell him, but he could feel my thoughts and know what I want.

I am quite excited about the bounty he will bring, but it will take him time and before he does, I want to get out of this tunnel.

I said, and we moved right tunnel; this one is especially. One of the biggest, I have come to this place.

A few minutes passed when suddenly, he stiffened, and I turned to him with a beating heart.

"We have around twenty minutes," he said slowly and a moment later, we begin to move at our fastest speed. I didn't have to ask what he was talking about; it is clear that another storm had started brewing.

I begin to move fast, fast as I could, pushing myself to the limit.

I could go fast, faster than this, but if I did; my injuries will worsen and there is a chance that everything will collapse. He looked at me in surprise, seeing my speed, but didn't comment.

I looked back and saw a monster coming at speed, I couldn't even see it properly, but a little of what I could see, it is a hog monster and it is approaching us fast.

I nearly took out my sword, but stopped myself. Even contained my aura to me, just like Ragas is doing.

It is too powerful. Taking out weapons against it would be useless; it would be better if we make ourselves as harmless to it as possible.
