Chapter 3374 Battle II

Puch!

My spear pierced through her heart, and a moment later, she disappeared into my core.

It took four seconds for the poison to work.

The poison had worked quickly, all thanks to her own energy that mixed into it. It had made it very potent for her. Even if I had not killed her, there was a 60% chance. It would have done that job in a few minutes.

Seeing the result of poison. I felt like I should have started using them a long ago.

It is not like I didn't; I had tried a few times before giving up.

I didn't have the expertise and skills to make the type of poison I need. Even this poison is not perfect, and I am collecting data while using it to make it even better.

There is also poison for the Grimms in the works.

It is what I am focusing on the most; I don't know whether I would succeed in it or discard it, but currently, I am making enough progress that I will continue working on it.

Puch Puch Puch...

The moment I killed her; I moved.

My spear had become a scythe, reaping the lives of the cultists left and right. I am going much faster than before in killing these bastards because I needed to trim their numbers as quickly as possible.

They have an edge in numbers, and they are getting stronger with every kill. If this goes on, we will lose.

I have to kill as many of them as possible.

Hun!

I didn't get to do it for long as twenty-fourth second; I saw a Peak Sovereign coming toward me.

Seeing that, I stopped and focused on him.

I have killed fifty-one cultists in short seconds and now, once again, it is time for me to kill a real powerhouse.

Once again, my heart started to beat wildly in excitement. Those two have given me quite a challenge and this one will give me even bigger than them.

I could feel its power and know it is stronger than a woman with the saber.

"You have killed quite a lot of us," he said. "Yes, I did, and I will kill you too," I said.

"We will see," he said and came at me, with black halberd shining in dark light.

A surprise appeared in my eyes and I harnessed all my power and every drop of it and moved at him.

A moment later, we appeared in front of us and attacked each other with everything we have. He is not willing to waste any time and attack me with all his power.

I have no other choice but to respond with a similar move. I am not his opponent without.

CLANNNNG!

Our black halberd clashed against my spear, and I felt like I have been attacked mountain.

My whole body shook, and a drop of blood leaked from the corner of my eyes.

A surprise appeared on his face upon seeing that, but he didn't let the surprise stop him and attacked me again, with an attack filled with the same might, and I responded similarly.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG

ραΠdαsΝοvel.cοm Our weapons begin to clash and I felt like I have been pressed by the mountain every second.

It is not just me, but also the people fighting beside me. Despite there being no fear of shockwave, the people fighting around us moved as far away as possible.

There might not be a danger of shockwaves here, but fighting near us is an extremely dangerous thing.

If they came in between, they would have no choice but to die.

"You are good. I wonder how long you will be able to keep up," he said, looking at the blood leaking from the corner of my lips.

"Till I kill you," I replied as I defend against his attacks.

"Keep dreaming, human," he said and continued.

His attacks have been hitting me hard, but I am getting used to it by making changes to my armor and learning from its moves.

Currently, the attacks have stopped injuring me and already started to heal. In a few seconds, they will be healed.

This man is stronger, much stronger than me; anyone looking at us could tell that.

His attacks are faster than mine and also stronger, but I am cantering them without taking a step back and even stopped shaking.

If someone is really smart and could see the battle clearly. They will see I am forcing him to attack me in a certain way, through the way I moved to counter its attacks.

These ways are changing every second that even the smart ones wouldn't think, that every move on my part is being made strategically, but it is.

I am fighting under the direction of my clones, which are giving them more and more data, about the cultist.

Hun!

A little more than a minute passed and when something shocking happened.

One sovereign from above had died; he is from our side.

We already have a lesser number of sovereigns than the cultist and now, we have lost one. It will increase the pressure on sovereigns and also increase their power.

The bluish formation, which has been steadily getting stronger, had suddenly brighter up further.

A few seconds later, I felt a slight increase in his strength as the Earth Sovereign had got absorbed into the formation and its power had spread into all the cultists.

Unlike the short man before, this one didn't move his focus from me.

"Soon you will be purified too," he said, continuing with his attacks. I countered every one of them, searching for a chance.

The cultist is strong and careful; he is giving me many openings, but all of them are fake.

If I dared to take them, I will find myself decapitated by the halberd or at least lose a limp.

So, I remained patient and kept fighting, and finally, three minutes and eleven seconds of waiting; I got the chance. First real chance and I went for him, without wasting a moment.

He was surprised seeing me coming, and he moved his halberd as I had predicted he would.

My spear reached close to his halberd, before moving left, before suddenly coming back, when his halberd moved toward me, instead of defending.

Slice!

While coming back, the tip of my spear was able to give a small cut to a limb before I moved the spear vertically and defended against the attack.

"A cut. You are better than I had thought," he said, looking at the cut, before moving to attack me again.

CLANNNNG!

I defended against him and he moved to launch another attack when he paused with his brown eyes widened.

"What did you do to me?" he asked in horror, but instead of answering, I moved to attack him.

He is smart, and instead of engaging; he begins to retreat and is able to create some distance before poison started to affect his strength rapidly.

I caught up with him, and he defended against my attacks, till he become too weak to do that.

Puch!

Finally, my spear pierced through his heart. Killing him and stopping the self-destruction he was trying.
