Chapter 3381 Shining



I woke up in the early morning feeling refreshed. I freshened and showered before walking into the kitchen.

Since I had made a breakthrough; I am leaving the city.

I have to reach my destination, about which I had second thoughts yesterday. Since I have the fourth floor and all the knowledge I would need, I do not need to go to the place, Magnus had told me.

I thought a lot about it yesterday but decided to stay on the path.

There are a couple of places near my destination that offer great potential. If I didn't like what I was getting to my destination, I could check them out.

I cooked the breakfast and ate it.

'We will begin in ten minutes.' I heard in my mind a smile that couldn't help but appeared on my face.

I have been waiting for her call. I wanted to ask her, but didn't want to seem desperate.

I quickly finished with the plates and entered my core before walking into the library.

There, I sat at the table and waited.

Exactly ten minutes later, the overseer appeared, wearing a light green gown.

Every time I see her, she is wearing different clothes. She would even wear jewelry sometimes, making her seem like a person rather than an artifact of spirit.

"Ready?" she asked, and I nodded, a little too excitedly.

"I know you have been studying it, but we will start from the beginning," she said and once again, I nodded.

"Ancient runes are also called law runes, only those comprehended the laws could employ them most effectively,"

"We will be studying the most basics of ancient runes. These runes do not require the perception of the law, but still thousands of times, difficult to understand than the common runes,"

She begins, and before I know it, three and a half hours have passed.

"Next class would be tomorrow, in regular time," she informed and disappeared.

I didn't get up from the table and instead opened one of two books. She suggested I had read. Ancient runes are extremely important and since I had got a teacher, who is at least a level prime, I am going to study hard.

It is a wonderful opportunity that very few gets in their lives, and I will be damned if I waste it.

I studied for eleven hours in the library, before getting out and asking my clone to continue with it.

I need to be ready for the next class.

A few minutes later, I got out of the house and returned the keys to the clerk before taking the formation to the city gates.

Where I needed to be spent a little over ten minutes before walking out. The moment I did, I took the sky and begin to fly toward my destination.

My destination is Comil City and at my current speed, it should take me around nine days to reach it.

Before the breakthrough, it would have taken me fifteen days.

Travel is not just about the speed; it is also about the danger. Before, I wouldn't have dared to fly all the way toward the Comil city, but now I am planning to do it.

Currently, very few sovereigns could threaten me; the real danger to me is earth Sovereigns.

For it, I have Nero, who is currently going through a breakthrough inside the core. He could come out today or in a few days; I would be fine till then.

Especially now, when the security is so tight and even Earth Sovereigns are patrolling.

Hours passed, and I continued my journey. I have come across a few Sovereigns, but they had only scanned me and didn't stop me.

Soon, the night came, and I kept flying, before stopping at ten.

I took out my abode in a hidden place and entered the room. I freshened up and ate before starting with the treatments, while I entered inside my core.

There I studied the ancient runes and also worked on my inheritance.

It is important to my inheritance; I couldn't give it all to my clones. Though I have changed my working style, and from now; I am working as a director, rather than a worker.

I will decide the direction and my clones will work according to it.

It is an efficient way; it will save me a lot of time, which I could use to study the runes and other things.

After the treatments are finished; I showered and slept and woke up four hours later.

As I freshened up and ate a breakfast that my clone had cooked, I made my way toward my destination and stopped three hours later for my class.

This time it lasted for a little more than three hours, and I studied for another four hours in my core before coming out and resuming my journey, after the quick lunch.

I increased my speed further as I resumed flying. From the speed of the average peak Sovereign, I started to move at the speed of above average peak Sovereign.

It is a little risky, but I have to do it since I am taking so much time for the treatment and the study.

A week had passed by, and I will be reaching Comil city tomorrow. I planned to stay there for a night and do some shopping before leaving in the morning.

The week had passed quickly, with so many things I am doing, especially my class.

During the week, I learned so much that I had learned in months on my own. The overseer is really good. She not only teaches well but also forces me to think about things I hadn't thought about before.

Many things I have not understood before; I started to understand.

I am really happy about my choice. Asking her to teach me ancient runes has been a wise use of my request.

The day passed and then another.

I flew out of the gates of Comil City with a smile on my face. I was able to find a few rare resources and even exchange a few in one of the grey markets.

Here Sovereigns kept an eye on me, but they didn't do much other than that.

It will take me a few weeks to get out of the territory of the organization and then I could let loose a little.

A few hours passed when I stopped suddenly.

I had felt something from my or rather something over it. The red dot on my core, given by the bastard of the blood sun, I had nearly forgotten about it.

It had started shining and when I focused on it. I sensed something which is coming toward me at a very fast speed.

I had nearly forgotten about it since I got it. No member of the blood sun had come at me, and I thought a few months would pass like that, but it had turned out, I had been too optimistic.

I wanted to run away and even took a step before stopping and shaking my head.

If I run, the bastard will chase me. It is better, I will deal with whoever coming at me.
