Chapter 3384 Shop And Study



I woke up feeling good. I have been quite tired when I slept. I had been shopping the whole day and haggling had tired me out thoroughly.

It had been three days since I had come to Trimar and spent most of the time shopping. When I am not stopping, I am doing the treatments, which is also when I would study.

It is the last day in Trimar; in the evening, I would board Varana for the Marlin City of Ikris Region.

I got out of bed, and freshened up, before going to the kitchen and cooking myself breakfast. I ate with Nero, I had asked him to come back yesterday since we are leaving today.

Once that is done, I started with treatments and entered my core.

I had designed all my treatments as such, that I could enter my core while they work on me.

As I entered my core, I looked around and everything was green. Just yesterday, my clone had harvested some of the resources.

The growth energy is amazing, but my core is no less; with three-time time dilation and optimal conditions. I could harvest a large number of resources in a short amount of time.

I used many of such resources to buy things I need.

Speaking of which, I had done a huge shopping. Many times, more than I had done since I got out of the ruin.

To be careful, I changed my identity a couple of times a day. It was risky, but much less than showing, I have a huge amount of money. If I buy a lot of things, I will get noticed, and it is not the thing I want to happen.

I have found a lot of resources, but not the ones I have been searching for.

Though, I didn't give up. If I didn't find it here, there is a chance I might find it in Marline City.

I entered the library and there were four of my clones working on the inheritance while one is studying. Seeing that, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

I am making steady progress, but it is not what had put a smile on my face. What put a smile on my face is the new ideas I am getting.

It had been two months since I started learning the runes from the overseer and I have learned so much; I haven't learned in one and a half years since I started studying them.

As I study these runes, I am getting more and more ideas about my inheritance, which I would convey to my clones.

It is going to make the Sovereign Inheritance a lot more complex, but it will also make my inheritance stronger.

I only spent a few minutes on the inheritance, giving them directions, before sitting down and studying.

"Did you finish with the formation?" she asked about the homework. "Yes. I had created it in three variations," I said, and three small formations of ancient runes appeared above the table.

"The first and third are good, but the second one is unnecessarily longer," she said and moved her finger.

Eleven runes disappeared, and three new runes appeared in its place. Seeing that, my eyes couldn't help but light up, and I wanted to curse myself for missing this.

"It seemed like you understand what you have done wrong, but I will explain to you since you have made the same mistake five days ago," she said my cheeks couldn't help but reddened at the mention of that.

She begins to explain my mistake to me and this time, in much greater detail than the last time.

Three formations in front of me didn't use more than eleven runes. They are simple formations but could do huge things.

If I want to create the same formation on common runes. I would require more than two thousand runes and it wouldn't be as efficient as the formation of the ancient runes.

Ancient runes are on a completely different level and extremely hard to learn, seeing how the slightest mistake could mess things up.

Currently, I could only make a simple formation. My knowledge is ancient runes are much less than what I knew about common runes before coming to Marina's tutelage.

So, it could be said, far too away, if I want to create an inheritance through it, but I am willing to learn.

I have a dream to create an inheritance from the ancient runes fully. It is going to be centuries or even millenniums, but as long as I survive, I will be able to do it.

I have that much confidence in my abilities.

She soon finished the explanation and asked me the question. I have to answer on my own, as during the lesson, she suspends my connection with my clones.

I am on my own during her lessons.

I gave an answer to all her questions except for one, which she asked me to find an answer on my own, and continued with lessons, which lasted for nearly four hours before she disappeared.

While she has said, the lessons will be for three hours. Most of them had lasted for more than that.

A couple of them went back to the four hours.

After she left, I studied for a couple of hours, changing the treatments in between. Soon, I finished with all the treatments and opened my eyes.

I walked into the bathroom and had an amazing shower before walking out. After changing into the new clothes, I went to the kitchen and brought out the lunch. My clone had cooked and eaten it with Nero.

"It is time," I said as I looked around the clam house.

It is not even afternoon, but I am leaving. I planned to shop till evening before it was time to board the ship.

I took a looked at it for one last time, before walking out of the clam house and checking myself out of the place, before entering the city.

There are many things I want to buy; months of supply and the things I would need for my breakthrough. I have already brought many things, but still need some.

I am only buying around 20% of the things that I want. The rest I have in my core, in that vast repository.

If I had been willing, to compromise on some materials. I would have needed only around 10%, but I am not willing to compromise.

Why would I, when I have enough money to buy everything I need?
