Chapter 3530 Earth-Shaking Roar

"You should have remained hidden; it may have spared your life," said a stone-skinned man, coming toward me with the Grimm.

"Think you could defeat me, even with a little rat?" I asked back as I moved toward them, but compared to them, I was much slower.

It is likely why, both of them laughed at hearing my words.

A fraction of a second later, they appeared to my left and right and used the methods. That blocked all ways to retreat; now I am contained in a small space, with no way to run away.

"Die!"

They screamed in unison; the Ratman attacked me with a saber, while the stone-skinned man with its long sword.

I moved toward the stone skin man, despite the saber of Ratman coming at me fast at my back and reaching me, before my attack hit the stone-skinned man.

Hun!

Both of their weapons reached close to me, till there were only inches remained when surprise flashed in their eyes in unison.

Their movements become slow, while I become fast. I increased my speed and avoided the sword of the stone-skinned man.

Rip!

He poured more power into his attack and it was able to give a large cut across my shoulder before my sword reached him.

Pachac!

Without hesitation, my sword decapitated him. He may be a native, but he is a traitor and what I had given him was a much lighter punishment than he deserved.

As I killed him, I turned him into the air and looked at the Grimm, who had a shock in his eyes as it retreated.

Its speed is quite fast, but I still chased it and for the first second, there didn't seem any change, but the next second, it slowed down a little and the second after that even more.

By the time we reached the edge of the artifact's range; it had slowed so much that I had appeared behind it.

Puch!

My sword pierced its head through its back, right at the boundary. Stopping it a moment later.

A second after that, it had disappeared from the world.

"It worked," I said as I took a sigh of relief.

I didn't suddenly gain more strings. No, there is no increase in strings, but I had used them economically.

Thankfully, I had enough time to test it.

Since I have come to this realm; I have been experimenting. I want to use the strings on two opponents, which is a challenge, considering the strings I have are enough for only one Grimm.

I have used it on the two people today.

Some might say it worked because of the size. The size affects things, but not as much as power. It is why I used nearly half of the strings I used on the stone skin.

It had only slowed them down and dint freeze them. That happens when I use the string on a single enemy.

I was able to achieve this feat because of the experiments I have done and the ample time; I have had. Where I was able to test it and if I hadn't been confident, I wouldn't have revealed myself to them.

It was clear from the first minute of the battle that it wasn't the first battle the two had fought.

So, there is no question of a stone-skinned man being a traitor.

I didn't rest for a moment; one monster had run away, but it might come back. I need to get out of here as soon as possible; I am not a match for the monster.

I quickly stored the pillar in the core and activated the stealth method, before starting moving again.

Buzz!

My core buzzed a few seconds later, and the powerful strengthening energies entered my body. Filling every inch of it, strengthening.

Every second, I am becoming more and more powerful. At the same time, the plants in my core, growing faster, with resources appearing on them at visible speed.

A few minutes later, everything calmed down. The strengthening energy had been absorbed by my body and lots of new resources appeared at my core.

Some of the resources I needed in an emergency required crafting the strengthening solutions for my practice.

I will need to kill lots of Grimms. If I want the lasting supply of those resources and this realm has it; the only thing I have to do is kill them for it.

A few more hours passed, and it was mostly smooth, except for one Peak-Earth Sovereign monster, coming a hundred meters away from me.

Thankfully, it didn't discover me.

My strength is rising with me killing the bloodline Grimms and with it, my stealth ability is also getting powerful. If I had come across that monster when I first came to this realm, it would have discovered me.

That is why it is really important for me to raise my strength; I need to be at the Mid-Sovereign stage before leaving the realm.

I was to do it before that; I would like it if that happens before I go to the oryg. That place is extremely dangerous and if I make a breakthrough, I will go closer than I had intended to.

My travel to that place depends upon the strength I have. If I hadn't been able to raise much strength before that time, I would not get too close.

I really want to go there; something very interesting is happening, and I want to see what it is.

I was in my thoughts when suddenly; I heard earth shaking roar from the distance, and with it came the mighty aura.

'Fuck, Sky Sovereign!' I screamed in my mind.

I don't know what it has roared, but I need to be as far away from it as possible. It is clearly angry and I don't want to get caught in whatever made it roar like this.

So, immediately, I changed the direction and chose another route.

It is not a long route, but a shorter one. It is more dangerous, but I have no choice, the roar is coming from the direction I was planning to move.
