Chapter 3539 In The Trees



"I am out," I said with a relieved smile appearing on my face.

That was really something; not only the power of the monsters and those who went to the lake for the resources but also the escape from that place.

It took me over two hours to reach here and I spent nearly an hour of that walking at the pace of the normal person. It was hard, seeing I wanted to sprint at every moment.

It was one of the hardest things; I had done since coming here.

I shook my head and turned to the map. I want to rest, but it is not a safe place. While my abode made things safe, I don't want to rely too much on its safety.

The place is only a few hours away; I should be able to reach there.

With that, I began to move toward it, while my strings picked up any resources I had come across.

They are everywhere and I am collecting everything I can.

Half an hour passed, and I sensed a native. A High-Earth Sovereign and there are two Grimms following him.

I only looked at them for a few seconds before turning away. Those two Grimms are going to die; the beastman is aware of them and intentionally leads them toward the spot to kill them.

The Grimms are powerful, but the man isn't weak either. He should be able to kill them or at least be able to himself if things become hard.

Another hour passed, and I was walking a quite dangerous route. I could have taken the safer one, but I want to reach the place quickly, but also because I want the resources here.

The resources here are a little special due to the special nature of this place.

The density of curse energy fluctuates here; sometimes it gets so thin, that even Sovereign is able to live and dense enough that only Sky Sovereigns could survive in it.

Thankfully, the change isn't instant and there are markers to identify when things might get scary.

Even with the markers, one will only have a few minutes to leave this damn place, before it becomes extremely dangerous for someone like me to survive here.

A few minutes passed, and I continued collecting resources before suddenly I sensed the Grimm.nove(lb/1n

The moment, I detected it; I froze in my spot and moved away.

It is the bloodline Grimm, that I had been searching for, but it is a Peak-Earth Sovereign. Against the Rhinoman, I had a chance, but against it, I could forget that.

I couldn't be discovered by it.

I was moving away when I discovered two more Grimms. Both Mid-Earth Sovereigns, but one of them has a bloodline.

'Fuck!' I cursed loudly in my head.

I would have attacked those bastards, but they are moving toward the direction of the one Peak who is hiding.

I shook my head and continued moving. While I was doing this, I kept releasing the waves. A few minutes later, a surprise appeared on my face at the startling realization.

Those two Grimms are working with the Peak Grimm; they are bait for it to hunt the natives.

I have to say it is a clever plan and many would have fallen for it. I would have fallen for it, if not for my waves sensing the Grimm hiding.

A minute later, a few soul seeds are released from me; they are extremely tiny and contain information. They will be attracted to the natives, who will enter this area.

Their life isn't long, but in favorable conditions, they would last three to four days, but adverse ones.

I have programmed them to last for a day. I don't think the Grimm would wait for prey for days, a day at most. As this place had many places, it could visit, where it could find natives gathering.

My destination is a place that few people could visit.

It was not in my plan, but one of the Initial Earth Sovereign Grimm I had killed had information about it. Other Grimms, all of whom I had killed, didn't have that information.

I am kind of excited; there are many things that would be found there and I don't think, there would be many people.

I am intentionally avoiding places with many people. There are Sky Sovereigns here for god's sake; I didn't want to get killed by them visiting those enticing places.

I have seen the number of Sky Sovereigns appearing above the pool; those places will have more.

While I have confidence in my abilities; going to those places is a simple suicide, which I have no interest in committing.

Another half an hour passed, and I felt the energy getting denser. Though its pace is not fast, so I do not need to be worried about it.

I am also quite close to the exit of the place. I could get out fast if things turn dangerous, but I hope that didn't happen; it will increase the chances of my discovery.

Suddenly, I stopped and turned left and walked in that direction, and a few minutes later; I saw the Grimm, well hidden under the trees and powerful stealth formation enveloping it.

These trees are huge enough to hide it, but I am looking at those trees. I am looking at the flowerbed of Urasn Kol flowers; they are rare flowers, but quite common in this place.

These flowers contain purified curses in their petals. Which is a quite valuable thing.
