"I will have fun eating you tonight," I said to the chicken monster as I finally froze it with my strings.

Fighting it wasn't easy.

The bastard was quite strong and the first monster in more than three weeks to discover me. Thankfully, I had discovered it and made the preparations, or our battles would have alerted quite a lot of people.

Since I had seen one two and a half days ago, I haven't seen another Sky Sovereign throwing away the crystals, until this one.

I only stopped for a second, before resumed moving toward the prey. As for the crystal, they are not going anywhere, not to mention I will have to pass the Grimms to get them.

The Grimms, who also seemed to have sensed the Sky Sovereign and now hiding.

Another minute and a half passed, and I was stealthily moving toward the Grimm. When I suddenly stopped, my expression changed drastically.

I really wanted to curse right now; that Grimm was really juicy, and it wouldn't have taken me long to kill it.

With the Grimms controlling our exit. It had become even more important for me to kill these bastards; it will not only reduce their numbers but will also provide me with a boost of strength.

I sighed and shook my head, before sitting on the chair, watching the small lake.

A minute later, I tapped a few buttons on the command before entering inside my core. The abode will inform me, the moment the battle ends. Till then I will do something productive.

There are a lot of things for me to do in my abode.

I appeared by the door of the library and entered inside. There, four of my clones are working on the inheritance and I joined them.

Since I got the method; I am steadily walking toward the limit. In the forbidden strengthening. In the regular strengthening, I am sprinting, thanks to the juicy Grimms.

So, it becomes important that I make just as fast progress in the inheritance as well.

This is easier said than done, especially when I am trying to add more ancient rune formations at every breakthrough.

Seven and a half minutes later, I reached near the Grimm. Closer than I would have if it hadn't used that stealth formation.

I didn't immediately attack it, even though I had confidence that I would be able to kill it within half a minute. Instead, I hid and released my strings.

A minute and a half later, a smile appeared on my face, and I walked toward the Grimms, with a smile on its face.

It sensed me and within seconds, it realized, I was coming toward it. Seeing that, it had removed that formation and looked at me, with its crimson eyes.

"You have a powerful soul sense," said Goatman, and I grinned. "It is not the only powerful thing I have," I said and leaped toward it.
