The force of the attack stopped me in my tracks and broke many of my bones.

It had been shooting me like a broken doll before appearing to me and attacking again. Producing the clashing forces in my body is the sole reason I am so injured but still capable.

Thanks to strengthening energy. It is not only healing my injuries, but also increasing my strength.

Though, the increase it is giving me isn't enough to deal with this bastard. It wouldn't be able to give me enough increase, that I would be able to fight against it at a standstill.

Still, the increase also wouldn't be too small either.

"You are overestimating yourself far too much. If you think you will be coming out of this alive," it said lazily, before swinging its ax.

This time, it had upped its power considerably.

Once again, its huge ax hit my sword and sent me back faster than before, appearing behind me, and attacking again.

It attacked non-stop without stopping, increasing its power with each attack.

Though it shouldn't increase as it should. If I am right, it is still holding a considerable power back and unwilling to use it.

Which isn't surprising, seeing we are on the battlefield. The more power it will guard, the greater the benefit it will provide against the stronger enemies.

It is not taking me seriously as it should. In its heart, there is no doubt about its ability to deal with me. It was confident that it could kill me in a single attack but didn't want to show that power.

I am also grateful for that thinking. If it uses everything it has, it will make things difficult for me.

It is why, I am making myself look more injured than I am. Fanning its ego, making it seem like, it is a sure bet. So, it wouldn't take me seriously and it is going with it.

It might be attacking me, but most of its focus is on the battle. Looking at natives who could pose a threat to it.

It is powerful, but there are many Sky Sovereigns, here that could kill it. It didn't want to reveal its power, too early to them.

It is the reason why; it had chosen me. I am a weak enough target, that it could spend a few minutes on while observing other strong opponents.

Though, that doesn't mean it isn't angry seeing I am still struggling despite it using such strength. It likely wanted to toy with me, but here I am resisting its attacks.

Finally, a minute passed since its first attack. I am still alive. Thanks to it not using its full strength.

"I have to say, you are a very good native. My attacks are injuring you, but you are still fighting." He said, appearing behind me and launching another attack.

"This is just the beginning," I replied to him, and I defended against its attack, which sent me back.

"Yes, it is the beginning of your painful death," it said and attacked me with a completely different attack. The fractal jade green lines were covering its sword; they looked dangerous, and I asked my clone to take a look at them.

I defended before the opposite forces clashing in my body hard; making me vomit more with pieces of flesh.

I am not the only one having a hard time on the battlefield. I am lucky compared to those who are dying; their immense power, which gives them dominion over cities, is not enough to protect them from Grimms.

My heart pained seeing them and I wish I could help them, but I am powerless to save them.

The only thing I could do to kill as many Grimms as possible. So, there would be fewer of them to fight.

A few seconds passed and finally, I heard the sound; I had been waiting to hear. The buzzing of my core.

As it did, a massive amount of thick, strengthening essence came flowing down my body. It is powerful and some of it mixed with the healing energies of the formation and started to heal my injuries.

The strengthening essence of the first bloodline Grimms is still flowing in my body, but it couldn't be compared to this.

It is really powerful; nothing could be compared to this. It is the most powerful essence I have, and it is strengthening me rapidly; giving me confidence that even if it used all its strength, there is no way it would be able to kill me.

Unless it bore the strength that even I couldn't sense. That is unlikely the case.

I quickly erased that small smile that appeared on my face and continued bearing its attack as if nothing was happening.

I don't want to spook it in any case and even begin to display greater injuries. Which seemed to have abated, some of its anger, but I could see it was nearly its patience and soon, it would use the powerful attack.

A few seconds passed, and it appeared behind me.

Formations lit up me and I turned, bearing the pressure, that broke my bones.

Still, I could see, I wouldn't be able to defend against its attack. Its ax is too fast; I won't be able to stop it.

The ax moved closer and closer before suddenly shock appeared in the eyes of Rhinoman and its ax got slower, not much, before enough, that my sword would be able to catch up to it.

In a fraction of a seconds, my sword reached its ax, and when they were about to clash. I sword went over it and I moved with it, appearing in front of its chest.

It begins to move its ax toward us to stop, while defensive methods, begin to appear across its body.

Puch!

My sword moved toward them, crushing one defensive method after another, passed through its bloodline armor, and reached its skin, before gently moving inside it, till it reached its heart.

When I dumped a large amount of energy; that broke all its internal defenses and stunned its soul for a second.

While it watched in stunned horror.

Thud!

I landed on the ground hard after sucking it in my core and crouched down for a moment.

If I wanted to, I could have frozen it and simply pierced my sword into its chest, but I didn't want to reveal that much on the battlefield.

There is always someone watching. Even if they are not; many are actively recording, and I didn't want to reveal too much.

So, I asked my clone to control the Grimms. It is not a big thing; they have even let it summon its defensive methods, which my sword crushed through before driving itself into its heart.

I had killed the Rhinoman; a powerful Grimm, which I didn't plan to fight until later in the battle, but I did and even killed it.

I will receive the huge benefits of its soon enough.
