Chapter 3655 Counter
Hermes Library
"It is time," said the being.
"I thought you said you aren't going to take action?" I asked. "I didn't say that, I said, it is a trap," the being replied.
"So, what changed?" I asked. "It is time to have sprung our trap on them," said the being, and my tower lit up, even more brightly than last time, when the being hunted the Asear Vajaras.
I felt my heart beating wildly.
Last time, it helped in healing some damage to my tower. This one is stronger than it and will help me more with the damage; just thinking about it couldn't help but make me feel glee.
..
I heard the hidden being's voice and was about to ask her, when my library shone brightly, through my clones.
I was only able to see it for a moment, before my connection with my cut apart. Only to see the formation of strange runes covering them while the city, in which center we are standing, had also shone.
"Fuck, what is happening?" The joy they had with the death of the cultists had disappeared and now. The horror had reappeared, and many began to ask questions to Prime Sanadis.
She is looking at it all with a frown, with her abilities active, but seeing her expressions, she doesn't seem to be getting any answers.
She kept looking at the formation for a couple of seconds, when suddenly, that terrifying aura released from her and a moment later, an enormous ball of energy appeared above her.
'Fuck!'
I couldn't help but be shocked seeing that before the alarm flashed in my eyes. It is clear what is trying to do.
A deep sorrow appeared in her eyes, but also the resolve. She is using a last option, and she could legally. If we really feel, that we wouldn't be able to stop the cultist's sacrifice. Then one had the option to kill the people, that being sacrificed, to stop the cultists from benefitting from it.
It is the last option. It gets scrutinized, but powerhouses use it. Not only those from our organization but also from others. It is the law that is written in nearly every organization's constitution.
"Shit!" I cursed and opened my mouth to tell her what was happening. It will have a huge consequence, but at least I will be alive to face those consequences.
"S,"
It is helpless against them and now feels regret forever listening to them in its greed. It shouldn't have gone greedy and listened to them.
'They better save me, or I will curse them from the depth of the underworld,' I said. I was at least able to send the message. I hope it reaches them soon enough, that they saved me, or I am dead.
...
Urtinabar stopped as it received the message. Krinitibir, is in danger.
It thought for a moment, before deciding to turn toward the filthy Asear Vajaras. They might be lowly, but they need them against the titans; letting it die wouldn't be wise.
Hun!
It had just turned and about moved toward Krinitibir. When it stopped, everything turned purple around it.
"Why in so hurry?" asked a man who stepped out of the purple light.
...
The abomination isn't the only one who had stopped; the other three had stopped and the thing, that happened after shook, was all the powerhouses who could be sent what was happening outside of their world.
....
"Ahhhhh..."
Asear Vajaras is struggling hard, screaming, while these strings morphed into the familiar shape of the library, just like it had happened with the last Asear Vajaras.
It is trying to get away with everything it can, but the cage of the tower is too strong. It would not let it get away.
'Brace yourselves!' said the familiar voice, and the tower shone brightly, and also the strange runes inside me.
As it did, I felt the pain from my soul, pain, which got strong so quickly that tears started to come out of my eyes, and within the second, the first scream rang out of my mouth.
The pain kept increasing, till I couldn't bear it anymore and I wanted to let it all go, but I held on. I remember what the being had said last time, I need to bear it and I will do it.
So, I did, till I felt my very soul being torn apart.
The pain seemed to have lasted for days before it finally stopped and I let go of everything, falling unconscious despite the risks.
