I appeared beside the door and opened it. There was a man, who once again politely rang the door of my hope.
I thought he would summon me, but he came personally and quickly.
It had not been even half an hour since Manya had left.
"Prime Volsnorth, what a great surprise," I said, and the man just rolled his eyes.
"Come in please," I added, and the man walked inside a moment later.
"Happy birthday, Micheal. Sorry for coming uninvited," he said.
"It's no bother. I am sure, it must be really important, for Prime like yourself comes personally instead of summoning me," I said, and a smile cracked on the old man's face.
"You know, nectar is the high restricted substance. You should inform the organization, the moment, you found it," he said as he sat down.
"I would have, but the rules stated it is for Prime Grade Nectar," I replied innocently, and the man rolled his eyes once again.
"We are going to change those," he muttered, and his eyes turned serious.
"How many do you have?" he asked directly, and I smiled before waving my hand.
Immediately, six old-looking cartons appeared, shocking the man.
Each carton has twelve bottles. There are a total of sixty of them.
He might have expected one or two, given how hard it is to find them. Here, there are sixty; they could do a lot of things with such numbers.
"This find will surely be mentioned to the leader," he commented.
"How much you have kept them for yourself?" he asked. I could tell, the old man wanted even those I had kept for myself.
"Enough for own needs," I replied, and the old man kept looking.
"Much less than this," I added.
"We will pay you well. If you sell us what you have," pressed the old man, but I just smiled.
There was a silence for a few seconds before he opened his mouth.
"What do you want in exchange?" he asked, taking out the one bottle from the glass artifact dish, before carefully extracting a hundredth of the drop and placing it into the glass artifact.
A few minutes later, I closed the door and walked back into my chair.
'I hope, it works,' I thought.
There is a deeper working strategy to give the organization the nectar.
Usually, I keep such things to myself, because of the involvement of forbidden power, but here, I sold it.
I want to see whether they could discover the forbidden power.
If they could, then I would have a proper excuse. If they didn't, then I would be able to sell things organization than before.
It is an enormous risk; I had taken it, but I felt like, I needed to.
I am going to be in an organization for a long time and I need to know their capabilities. If I knew, I would be able to hide the forbidden power well.
If things didn't work as I planned. I could fall into a massive trouble.
I knew the risk, but I needed to take it.
I watched the organization for a few more minutes, before closing my eyes.
A moment later. I appeared at my core. In front of the crystal shelf, which looked a lot emptier.
I didn't lie when I told Prime Volsnorth, I had less than what I had given him.
I have now only two dozen with me.
I could have given him a dozen more, but I don't know, whether I would be able to produce the nectar again and play on the safe side.
Two dozen would be more than enough for my own needs.
I do not need much. It is an nectar, but all things, it would stop affecting me. If consumed it is over the limit.
So, keeping more than I needed wouldn't have been wise.
Giving five cartons to the organization would help me get the resources I wanted for a long time.
After taking one last glance, I walked away from it.
Your gift is the motivation for my creation. Give me more motivation!
