Chapter 4026: Hard To Control



'I think this is enough,' I said to myself and stopped.

A second later, the changes began to happen to me, and a few minutes later. I am a thin tall man, with blue skin and grey hair with falchion as the weapon.

With that, I flew into the afternoon sky.

It had been over three days since, I left the castle area and I think, I had far enough that nobody would suspect me.

I have been far too cautious. I would have been fine, if I did it yesterday, but decided to be cautious.

I do not regret it. A day is nothing compared to the trouble of being found out.

As I reached the sky, I flew toward my destination straight. My speed is the fastest I had used in the real; I don't care now if somebody found me.

I am far enough, that people can't come in groups.

They could have a near castle where their numbers were dense.

They are not here, giving me quiet freedom.

It is the first time, since I began my journey three days ago, that I am not sensing any Sky Sovereign around me. My soul waves have spread far and wide but didn't pick a single Sky Sovereign.

I don't like it when people aren't around me, but now, after three days, people are at me in every nook and cranny, I am liking this silence.

I even slowed down my speed a little to enjoy it.

Around an hour and a half passed, when I finally sensed a person. They are far away, but familiar.

They were inside the castle with me. If I am right, their rank was sixty-six. She had chosen a method; a defensive method of soul.

It was on my list. If I had more points, I would have brought it.

Soon, she disappeared from my soul wave and for the next twenty-eight minutes, there was no one, till the two appeared in my soul sense.

They seemed to be fighting. I didn't much care; I didn't even look in their direction.

A few minutes passed when I stopped, as I sensed the monster in my direction.

A few seconds later, the monster was just a few meters away. Tried to smell it, but it didn't

find anything after over a minute of trying, walked away.

I heaved a sigh of relief and continued collecting the resources.

Hours passed, and I came across many such monsters, but I was able to hide from each of them.

Currently, it is night, and energy is dangerously dense. Most of the monsters have disappeared, leaving only the dangerous ones.

I stayed away from them. Even when I sensed they had the resources I needed near them.

I do not have any intention of provoking any monster.

There are too many of them in this small area. Even sealing the battlefield might not work; it is the main reason; I am hesitant to fight, despite wanting to.

If it had been a big forest with each monster lording over a large area.

I would love nothing more than to fight against them, but here, I rather not. If any monster discovers me; I will hide in my abode than fight it.

Soon it was midnight, and the energy became so dense. That is the only reason I am even alive

in armor.

I have created a three-layer of string armor. This is wise because the energy was able to breach through the first layer of defense. It had happened after a long time.

It is extremely dangerous, but the resources I am getting are very rare.

These resources could only be harvested at night after the purity of energy reached a certain

dense.

Many of those resources are used to me and I didn't hesitate to harvest them. Even going a little closer to monster territories, which I said earlier, that I will not do.

Greed sometimes is really hard to control.
