Chapter 4031: Battle of Survival I
Finally, my body stopped taking the energy, and I walked out of the pool.
I have no intention of staying a moment longer. Seeing it what is happening with the pool.
She is absorbing the energies of Irvus Pool at an incredible.
Something that shouldn't be possible, but somehow it is happening, and I do not like it even a bit and would like to get away as soon as possible.
I stepped out of the pool and clothes appeared on my body. So has the armor.
I walked toward the exit door. Reaching it in a second, trying to open it, but it didn't open. Seeing that, I sighed when I looked carefully at the door.
'It needs a key,' I said with a sigh.
I do not have a key. I turned to Hayat, and she was still in the pool. Seeing that, I walked away from the door and sat down.
I will have to wait till Hayat wakes up.
I really don't want to, but there is no choice. So, I waited with my eyes on Hayat.
A minute passed, and then another.
Soon, it had turned into an hour, but Hayat was still in the pool absorbing massive energies.
Her body shouldn't have been able to take such energy, but she is doing it somehow.
I wish I could see. I am really curious. Unfortunately, I couldn't.
It was an hour and thirty-seven minutes after, I had come out. I felt the energies slowing down before finally stopping. A few seconds after that, she opened her eyes.
She got up without saying, anything and walked out of the pool.
There seemed to be something changed in her. Her eyes seemed to have grown more confident than before. Even her body language had changed.
"I hope it had been a mistake. We could still go our separate ways as nothing happened," I said to her.
Usually, I love to fight, but she is giving me a very dangerous feeling.
My instincts are telling me. That I could die; I rather not fight such a battle. Especially against the opponent, which is giving me a strange feeling.
"It is no mistake. You will be absorbed and become a part of me," she said and attacked with her saber.
She is attacking with a single sabe, unlike the dual ones she had fought within the castle's challenges, and seeing the way, she is wielding it; it's clear, that she is a single-blade wilder. Her skills are much better than when she wielded the dual sabers, which she did with better skills than most Sky Sovereigns.
I reacted instantly, and a great sword appeared in my hand, and I moved to defend against her attack.
For this face, I had planned to use the halberd, but seeing I could not put myself against the slightest disadvantage against her, I decided to use the great sword.
It's my great sword in its shape and weight, the one I am most skilled in.
It's not the variants I used in other faces.
CLANNNG!
Her saber clashed against my sword. Creating sound so defeating that it would have to break the eardrums of most Sky Sovereigns if they had been closed.
The shockwave, on the other hand, turned everything into dust. Trees, stones, and even the buildings had turned to dust.
I looked at the light grey energy covering me. It is faint and dull, but extremely powerful.
So much so that it would have been covering the average Sky Sovereign. It would have brought them to their knees.
"Not a so much shake. It seemed like I am really lucky to catch you," she said and looked at me as if I was some kind of meat.
It felt unerring that all the hair on my body was raised again.
I wanted to run and hide in the abode, but that wouldn't be possible with her strength.
I don't think I could run away from her.
