3 Chapter 0003

An ominous feeling engulfed me as I immediately checked my inventory.

What I saw made me dizzy for a second. My inventory was empty, apart from the fact that there was a single blade in one of the boxes.

I rechecked again and again and suddenly remembered something.

[Prytiz has entered an enraged state, dying in his domain will make you lose all your levels and items in your inventory.]

It didn't matter if Prytiz killed me, if I stabbed myself to death, or if I got crushed under a random boulder. The result would have been me dying in Prytiz's domain, making me lose all my levels and items.

With my fists clenched, I checked my status window, not wishing to see a level reset too.

Huh.

Huh.

HUH!!!

What was all this?

I was expecting the level reset. Even though it was harsh, it already warned me about the reset, so I had it in mind.

What I didn't expect was …... everything else.

There was no way I hadn't heard the name of the Legendary class everyone was talking about.

Disbelief flickered through my eyes as I couldn't believe the reality of the situation.

I clicked on the class, and a series of information showed up.

[ Class: Dulwak's Heir

Rating: Legendary

Type: Combat Class

The legacy of Dulwak, a legendary bladesman and a famous Alchemist.

At the moment of his death, he left behind his legacy to his pet Wyvern in the form of Hunter's Blade. ]

[ You need to complete the class quests to know more about the Legendary Dulwak. ]

How?

How did I obtain such a class?

'',

I'm the legendary class I was envious of a few minutes ago?

Am I the legendary class that the world's top guilds are looking for?

Is this real? Is this a dream?

If so, I definitely don't want to wake up!

I looked around sneakily as if afraid of getting caught after stealing something.

Walking away towards the town's exit, I couldn't help but flinch at even the slightest commotion.

I wasn't used to such a fortune. It'd take some time before I can adjust to the reality of the current situation.

Minutes later.

Heave ho!

I exhaled heavily in the grasslands on the outskirts of Azler town.

I needed to confirm some things before starting anything else.

I checked my player log, which stored information about every event I went through.

[The power of Dulwak seeps into the (secret) Hunter's Blade from Wyvern Prytiz, Unleashing its real form.]

[All the basic Alchemy skills have been acquired and mastered.]

[Some Night Alchemy skills have been acquired.]

Gulp!

This….this was another level of being lucky.

It would be funny to call it just luck since I've worked for months to discover secrets, but it was indeed luck that brought me such fortune.

Even though I was just a level 1 right now, I have already mastered skills that others will need years to master.

A sense of accomplishment washed over me as all these months of hard work finally seemed to be paying off.

I remembered my family members' faces, it was time to bring them the happiness they deserved.

Since I had been given such a golden opportunity, it'd be foolish not to use it to become the best.

'No more game secret hunting.'

I inwardly promised myself. Unless it was related to a class quest or something, I'd never go on another secret hunt.

That made me stagnate so much that my levels were barely enough to defeat average monsters.

Speaking of levels, I will need to gain levels first of all before doing anything. I didn't even have any other item apart from the Blade.

I had a 275% experience boost till I caught up to my previous level, which was level 94.

It was good and bad at the same time. It meant after catching up, I would have to face hellish grinding to gain a single level.

'ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ No(ve) l Bi n',

The top players right now were already level 180 on average.

I could just contact some popular guild and become a part of it, which will give me a bus to level up quickly.

A/N - (Bus - A term used in games. It basically means that you play/party up with high-level players, they do all the work, and you gain free experience from it.)

But that would be unwise right now since that would mean I'd owe them a huge time. I wasn't planning on becoming anyone's slave.

Even previously, I wasn't part of any guild because of all these reasons.

'Let me check if the blade is anything useful.'

Some items were solely classified as quest items, making them items that can't be used for combat.

I was scared that the Blade was one such item, so I took it out to see its description.

A shiny aqua-black blade appeared in my hand. It had triangular cuts on its edges that glinted with chilling sharpness and had a pointed tip. Its handle had a dragon head on its end.

[Eclipse - The Shanker of Faded Memories

Eclipse is a mythical weapon with so many secrets that even Dulwak was unable to unravel all of them.

In the ancient myths, It was said that Eclipse has lots of forms and can even make its wielder disappear from the world, as the moon disappears from the world during an eclipse.

The crafter of this weapon is unknown to this date. Only a true wielder can unravel all of its mysteries.

User Restriction: Dulwak's Heir]

[This item is bound to your soul, it can't be traded, gifted, or dropped on death.]

[This is a growth-type weapon. Therefore, more options and skills will be added as the user grows along with the Blade.]

[Skill: Weak Spot Detection

Their skills can be copied as well, but they share the same cooldown as the original item.

You will need 50 mana to maintain a single copy for 10 seconds.]

[Skill: Camouflage

Makes the user enter a Camouflage state. Target lock skills won't work on the user during the camouflaged state.

Movement speed will increase by 30%. There is a low chance of an attack dealing 150% extra damage when used in a camouflage state.

Getting hit by an AOE skill or Attacking someone will cancel the camouflage effect.]

[Skill effects will improve as the user or the item advances.]

"..."

I couldn't think of anything to say. My mind felt numb as I read through the description.

This was a normal-rated item?

Are you kidding me?

Who'd believe such bullshit?

An item with….such options…..such skills….it could easily put most Epic rated items to shame.

It was a normal rated blade that can grow, a growth type item, which has only been speculated to exist, never before seen.

It was too broken to exist, but it existed, and that too with a user restriction that can't be met.

The user restriction was having the class Dulwak's Heir...meaning only I can use this overly powerful weapon.

I can't sell it or trade it. It won't be dropped when I die, which was a relief.

The more I got to know about my situation, the more expectant I grew about the future I was going to have. How powerful will this class and weapon be as I keep growing?

A sense of eager anticipation engulfed me as I decided to start hunting some mobs so that I could level up and earn.

I still had loans to pay, and the future finally seemed a bit brighter.
