The downside was that the teleportation only worked in one direction - to the waypoint. I couldn't teleport from the waypoint to another location.

However, I wasn't too concerned about that since the feature was upgradable. More waypoints would be unlocked, allowing me to set up a network strategically. For now, I would use my 'Return' skill to teleport home.

With this feature, exploring the forest would be a breeze. I could spend the entire day exploring and place a waypoint when night fell, then teleport back to my home, rest, and repeat the process the following day.

Simple and easy. And I needed it that way so I could explore with peace of mind, searching for a fifth race to complete my class quest.
