At last, Bolin didn't need to reply to him before he allowed him to leave. The 2 hours he mentioned did not include the time he would spend on the road, and it was going to take proper time management to make good use of it.
Bolin first went to Mr. Fang's place to take care of his things. With the help of the new butler, they arranged the side dishes and locally prepared ingredients in the refrigerator and shelves.
For his used clothes, the butler took care of it. Bolin had to put the rest of the things in his luggage, in his bedroom.
"Mr. Bolin, you said the housekeeper is coming in today, will that happen later in the day?" The Butler asked.
Bolin checked the time on his phone before putting it back in his trouser pockets, "She will be here in an hour. I just contacted the people from the car wash company, they are coming to take care of the car parked outside."
Bolin was indirectly asking the butler to see to it since he would be leaving very soon.
With a slightly concerned gaze, the butler asked, "Which car will you go out with?" If the car he came back with was going to be cleaned, which one would he go out with? It would be very weird if he took a cab.
"Oh! don't worry," Bolin said with a smile. "Mr. Fang doesn't lack cars, and there is always an option to pick from,"
Haven said that Bolin took the stairs again, but this time around, he went for Mr. Fang's study. And he had to turn on the lights to be able to see in that dark space.
The spacious study was simply decorated and outlined with two major colours, white, and leather brown colours. The wall was painted using white coloured paint, while the furniture placed in it, was in dark brown.
Mr. Fang was someone who didn't like a rowdy area, or a busy background, especially in a place where he needs inspiration and needed to be creative, so he always kept things simple which ends up looking astonishing.
Making his way to the small vault behind the huge office desk, Bolin keyed in 6-digit numbers which wouldn't escape being tagged as Nil, and it opened up.
Who would believe that 6 Zeros (000000) could ever be attributed to Mr. Fang as one of his passwords?
I guess he was too lazy to pick a good one, or because he was confident that no one would dare to touch his collections.
Glancing at the 3 car keys laid out neatly in the vault, Bolin thought, 'Which one should I pick?'
He was not afraid of being scolded because Mr. Fang never said he couldn't come with another car, and besides, he was doing a good job by not just airing his Maybach, but also giving it a good cleaning, inside out.
Out of the 3 car keys laid out there, Bolin sighed and quickly picked the less valuable one which happened to be an Audi product. He would be crazy to touch the other car keys.
Mr. Fang would bury him alive if he dared to touch it without his permission. The permission that would possibly never be granted even in his next life.
As quickly as Bolin came, he left the same way after turning off the lights.
Bolin informed the Butler he was leaving, before stepping outside and making a detour to the corner of the building.
He finally came to a stop in front of a huge shield fixed on the wall and pressed the button next to it. The aluminium shield rolled up, and he walked inside the car garage.
Those beauties before him were all worthy of a good ride, but this was not the time to let fun thoughts have a way with him. He quickly walked towards the Audi and unlocked it before reviving the engine and driving off.
Once he got out of Mr. Fang's residence, he picked up his phone to dial Zhang Liling's contact.
****************
A cab pulled down the familiar apartment building in the area that Zhang Liling had rented. If she didn't have any proof of being an apartment owner in that residence, the cab driver wouldn't be allowed to drive them in.
"This is a good area, at least the security team here do not allow random people in," Song Jujing said with relief as the cab driver pulled over.
"This good area is the reason all my money disappeared," Zhang Liling replied before getting out of the car, she was silently asking her mother for more money, and the woman seemed to get it.
"I know you would need more money, and that's the reason I made your father give you more of it. I won't give you any money till a month later," Song Jujing said.
Although her daughter was an adult and could handle herself, she didn't want her to have so much money in her hands when she had no idea of what she wanted it for.
The driver took out their suitcases from the trunk of his car and handed them to them before driving off. Before Zhang Liling and her mother could move 5 steps ahead with their luggage a young security man came out of the building to help them.
This was one of the services to be enjoyed while living in that building.
Zhang Liling and her mother walked behind the security man and continued with their conversation.
"Mum, you know I am your only daughter, you have to spoil me with all your money!" Zhang Liling pouted.
"I know I have to spoil you with my money, so I have been saving some funds for you. It is a part of your graduation gift. You can use these funds to start up any business of your choice, but it must be something worthwhile."
"I can't wait for 2 months to come, it looks like some benefits are being kept away from me," Zhang Liling said as her thoughts trailed off.
She was thinking if Mr. Fang would be more accepting towards her if she was no longer his student, and if she was already a graduate.
