Chapter 47 The Face-Off

Name:Mr. Fang's Feisty Mistress Author:
"Liling, come over here!" Tungmei said while waving at her. Since there was no lecturer of Professor in the class yet, her tone was allowed to be a little louder.

Zhang Liling waved back and made her way towards the spot she was sitting.

But before she could get there, someone was already causing trouble and seeking for attention.

Rushi a popular young female socialite in a Jean mini skirt and black top, saw their interaction and left her seat and went to Tungmei's side to look for trouble.

The seat Tungmei reserved for Liling was at the edge, so what Rushi did, was to pick up Zhang Liling's backpack which Tungmei left on the seat, and put it on her thighs before sitting her butts on it.

Tungmei was surprised at her actions, but slowly a frown appeared on her face when she saw her face clearly, as she knew she had come for trouble, being their enemy.

"Rushi, why are you looking for trouble? You know clearly that I reserved this seat for Liling." Tungmei said in annoyance.

If only she could hit the bully looking for trouble, she wouldn't bother to waste her saliva.

Rushi sneered as she turned sideways to spare her a glance, "So what if I'm looking for trouble purposely, what are you going to do about it?"

At the moment, Rushi was acting all haughty, until Zhang Liling who saw what she did, came over, pulled her off the seat and pushed her away before sitting her butts on it in one swift motion.

Rushi staggered for a bit as the rest of the students watched her in gasps of shock, before regaining her balance with the help of her friend, and then turned to glance at Tungmei's side and said with gritted teeth, "Who pushed me?!"

Earlier, she didn't have the chance to see who dragged her and pushed her away because everything happened on a whim, but it was only when she turned around to ask that question that she saw Zhang Liling occupying that seat already.

Zhang Liling totally ignored her question and existence and was already chatting with Tungmei as if nothing happened.

"You are here?" Tungmei said with a smile as her confidence slowly returned.

"Next time, just follow in my steps, no need to talk too much," Zhang Liling said without caring if Rushi could hear her or not.

This scene alone, was enough to anger Rushi, and those words were enough for a confrontation between them.

Rushi immediately stepped forward with a death glare directed at Zhang Liling and roared, "Zhang Liling how dare you?!"

Zhang Liling covered her ears before slowly turning to glare at her. Rolling her eyes, she said, "Don't scream my name, do I look like I have hearing impairment?"

Pointing her fingers at her with a ridiculous expression on her face, Rushi warned, "Zhang Liling! You are crossing the line again! Don't forget that my family has more influence then you!"

Zhang Liling sniggered while the rest of the students watched the fun with an interesting gaze.

"I just figured something more interesting about you, you really have a bird brain, and I just confirmed it!"

"What?!" Rushi couldn't believe her ears and lounged at her direction with her hand raised. It looks like she was working so hard on picking a fight with Zhang Liling in the presence of their classmates, and a few minutes before the Professor would come in.

Immediately, the smile on Zhang Liling's face disappeared, as she got up from her seat to wage the hand that was about to come down on her.

"Shu Rushi, don't try to drag me down with you! You were banned from Mr. Fang's class, and now you also want to be banned from this class but want to drag me along?"

Shu Rushi snatched her hand back and massaged her wrist. Just now, Zhang Liling's hold was almost squeezing her dry.

"You asked for it!" Shu Rushi responded with a cold glance.

There were whisperers from the people around them who could hear their conversation. With Zhang Liling bringing up the fact that Shu Rushi was banned from Mr. Fang's class, she was mocked once again.

Shu Rushi was almost seeing red with the fingers and gazes directed at her. She shifted her gaze back to Zhang Liling and was about to insult her, but she didn't get the chance.

"Shu Rushi, please conduct yourself with dignity. If not for yourself since you don't care, at least do that for the sake of your family. You can't afford to become a laughing stock to them," Zhang Liling said with a harmless smile.

Shu Rushi couldn't stand the insult and raised her hand to hit Liling, but the latter swiftly fixed her butts on the seat, causing Rushi to slap an empty air.

Before she could not know what was happening, the gasps of shocks from the fellow classmates that saw what was happening, quietened down.

That sudden silence could only be for one reason, the professor for their next lecture had just walked in. With that, Shu Rushi glared at Zhang Liling one last time before going back to her seat with her friend who was waiting by her side.

"She almost hit you!" Tungmei said in a hushed voice. Her tone sounded a little shocked after what she saw. She could bet that if Liling hadn't taken her seat at the right time she did, the slap wouldn't have missed her delicate fair cheek.

"I know..." Zhang Liling said with a small smile while fixing her gaze at the podium.

She had calculated everything with her mind and experience, and knew about the right time to move her body out of the way.

Tungmei couldn't understand how she was able to smile after what happened. Surely, she wouldn't be smiling if Rushi had hit her.

The girl she knew would have caused havoc even in the presence of the professor.

At the end of the lectures, Shu Rushi who was targeting to make troubles for Zhang Liling, didn't get the chance because the latter left with Tungmei who wanted to see the Professor to clarify some findings.

When the duo returned from seeing the Professor midway to his office, they went straight to the a restaurant outside the school environment to eat.

Zhang Liling and Tungmei did not find the School meal palatable so, they didn't eat there often. But Tungmei didn't have a lot of choices, and so ate there most of the times that Zhang Liling didn't ask her out.
