Chapter 130 Muddle-Headed

Name:Mr. Fang's Feisty Mistress Author:
Zhang Liling hurriedly scrambled to her feet and rushed to the door to unlock it before rushing to snatch her phone from Tungmei's hand.

Tungmei gasped in shock when she saw the red patch on her forehead, as she had forgotten to cover it.

"What happened to your forehead, did you hit it on the wall?" She asked worriedly.

Zhang Liling fumbled a bit with her phone while trying to see what kind of call was ongoing on her phone.

"Who were you speaking with?" She asked while squinting her eyes on her phone screen, but couldn't make out the name on it.

"Dr. Li, he called earlier and now," Tungmei replied casually.

Chuanli could hear the conversation between two women and prayed that one of them would see that the conversation was still ongoing and respond.

He wanted to know which part of the club he could find them when he came in. But the next statement he heard from Zhang Liling shocked him.

"Who is Dr. Li?" Zhang Liling asked with furrowed brows directed at Tungmei.

"What?" Tungmei reacted with a confused gaze. "How am I supposed to know? I should be the one asking you that question because that contact is saved in your phone! Don't tell me you are that drunk!"

"I'm not drunk! It's just that I can't see clearly, my eyes are blurry. Anyway, see how you can end the conversation, I have been pressing the red button, but nothing is working."

Tungmei glanced at her fingers that was tapping the the white part of her screen and laughed inwardly.

"You idiot, you are pressing the wrong button!" She said and snatched the phone from her.

"Oh!" Zhang Liling mumbled to herself and held her forehead with her hand. She could feel a throbbing pain there, and tried rubbing it again.

Right as Tungmei was about to end the conversation, Chuanli hurriedly stopped her after getting out of the shock Zhang Liling just put him to. What did she mean by, 'Who is Dr. Li? Is she actually drunk?'

"Miss Tungmei, please take Miss Zhang to the bar, or find somewhere to sit near the entrance, I'm coming to pick her. Thank you!"

After passing the instruction to her and making sure she heard him, he ended the call.

"Miss Zhang is drunk?" Bolin asked with an unbelievable expression on his face. "She dared to get drunk?!"

He just couldn't believe his ears. Just what was wrong with Miss Zhang?

"A drunk Miss Zhang or the one who caused an uproar in a club, which do you prefer?" Chuanli asked as he stepped hard on the speed pedal.

Bolin instinctively held his seatbelt and replied, "How am I supposed to reply to that question when none of the option is good? And can you slow down, Dr. Li?"

"Obviously, you know the right option to prefer over the other. Also, I cannot slow down until I am sure that Miss Zhang is with us. She still has like 5 minutes to cause trouble, so we had better get there on time."

Bolin did not say anything again, since he put it that way. He could only pray that they would not get into an accident on their way to get Miss Zhang, and she in turn, will be obedient till they came to her side.

Tungmei managed to pull Zhang Liling to the bar. After helping her sit on the stool and ordered water for her, she glanced at her bare feet and asked, "Where is your shoe?"

"How would I know?!" Zhang Liling asked with a frown before putting her head on the bar table.

Tungmei's faced was sculpted in a frown as she recalled leaving her shoes close to the sink when she wanted to kick down the door earlier.

Glancing at Zhang Liling, she picked up their bags and said to her, "Liling, don't stand up from here, I will be back, I need to get your shoes."

No response came from her, not that she was expecting any from her.

Glancing at one of the bartenders she said to him in a pleading tone, "If she places any drink order, please don't listen to her. We don't have anymore money to pay."

She didn't want to tell him that Zhang Liling was already drunk because he might still be tempted to give her a drink if she asked for one. But if they did not have any money to pay, he wouldn't be tempted to give in to her.

Tungmei was very quick with finding Zhang Liling's shoes and returned to her side. Thankfully, they were not stolen.

Outside the CLUB...

Chuanli's sports car pulled over, and he immediately took off his seatbelt. Glancing at Bolin who didn't look like he was making any attempt to step down, he frowned.

"Are you not coming down?"

"A good number of people knows I am Mr. Fang's personal assistant. What do you think they would say when they see me helping a drunk Miss Zhang out of the club? They would link her to Mr. Fang immediately." Bolin reasoned.

Chuanli glared at him and asked, "Are you trying to say that no one knows that Bingwen is my friend?"

"Even if they know, they wouldn't think otherwise if they see you with a girl, unlike me."

The only reason Chuanli did not continue to argue with him, was because he made sense.

Throwing the car key to him, he said, "You will drive" and got off the car.

Chuanli soon found Zhang Liling and her friend at the bar area and sighed in relief.

"Are you Dr. Li?" Tungmei asked in surprise when he came to their side. He was handsome and looked young.

"Yes!" He replied before checking on Zhang Liling and asking what happened to her when he saw the red patch on her forehead.

"She hit her head somewhere. I have already used ice on it, so swelling is out of the way now."

Now done speaking about Zhang Liling, it was her turn to ask who he was.

"Dr. Li, how do you know my friend? I am her closest friend, yet she has never mentioned about you before."

"That's because Miss Zhang and I are not that close." Before she could ask the reason he came to take her, he continued, "But we are very close to the same person that brought us together. I am running out of time, and if you would like to know more about me, you can call Miss Zhang on phone tomorrow and ask about it."

Tungmei stood there with curiosity as he helped Zhang Liling to her feet, while calling out to her, and even chiding her.

"Miss Zhang, are you trying to put me in trouble?"
