Chapter 53: Chapter 53: You Still Have To Die

Ikaris didn't know that the White-Haired Mutant had the mutant ability to absorb energy. Seeing that the attack he had pinned his hopes on not only had no effect on the White-Haired Mutant but also enhanced his energy, Ikaris immediately realized that things were not as simple as he thought. The arrogance and haughtiness he had shown earlier vanished completely, and he began to fully tap into his Eternal abilities, continuously interacting with the surrounding cosmic energy to strengthen his physique.

Although his arrogance was gone, he still didn't believe he would lose. With a serious expression, he said to the White-Haired Mutant, "You're strong, but you still have to die."

Alex, looking at the cheap copy of Superman in front of him, could see through his Six Eyes the golden energy core within Ikaris's body. The Eternals had energy cores implanted within them, which served as their life source and provided them with nearly infinite energy. Although this wasn't the truly infinite energy of something like the Infinity Stones, it was still not to be underestimated. What made it even more valuable was the stability and ease of absorption of this energy core, something the Infinity Stones couldn't offer.

Even with Alex's Level 4 energy absorption, he couldn't easily absorb energy from the Infinity Stones. But with the energy core of an Eternal, it would be simple! If he could obtain the energy core from Ikaris, it would last him a long time, allowing him to forgo using the Arc Reactor and instead rely on the core until he could effortlessly absorb energy from the Infinity Stones.

However, killing Ikaris wouldn't be easy. The Eternals were created by Arishem, the Judge, a Celestial and their bones and muscles were made of extremely special materials, giving them terrifying strength and defense. As one of the most outstanding among the Eternals, Ikaris possessed even greater strength and defensive abilities.

The most important thing was that Alex knew Ikaris had incredibly impressive flight speed, far exceeding Alex's current maximum flying speed. If Ikaris wanted to escape, Alex wouldn't be able to catch him. Moreover, Ikaris's armor, also created by the Celestials, had extremely high defensive capabilities, which, combined with the Eternals' natural physical defense, surpassed even the Hulk's defense.

So, killing Ikaris was going to be tough! However, with the recent upgrade and evolution of his Limitless Technique, Alex felt confident in giving it a shot!

After using Black Flash, Alex entered the Zone state, becoming more adept at controlling his powers. With the combination of Level 3 Six Eyes and Level 4 energy absorption, he could use Black Flash with 100% accuracy!

Ignoring Ikaris's words, Alex once again disappeared from his original spot and reappeared in front of Ikaris. This time, Ikaris didn't underestimate him and reacted immediately. However, despite knowing that Alex had energy absorption abilities, Ikaris's arrogance led him to confront Alex head-on instead of avoiding him.

Their fists clashed, accompanied by terrifying black and red lightning. The shockwaves from their collision spread out in all directions, with Tony's villa unable to withstand the impact and instantly turning to rubble. Even the underground lab wasn't spared!

The sea below them suddenly sank, forming a circular void, with massive waves rushing outward, creating towering waves dozens of meters high!

As Alex and Ikaris fought, they continued to destroy the surrounding terrain. The more they fought, the more surprised Ikaris became. Alex's energy absorption seemed limitless, continually absorbing the kinetic energy of his attacks and strengthening his own body like a black hole, threatening to completely swallow him!

As the battle dragged on, Ikaris's confidence gradually eroded, and the arrogance he initially had was gone. He looked at the White-Haired Mutant ahead with a grave expression.

He couldn't cause any harm to the White-Haired Mutant, as any energy he used would be absorbed and turned into nourishment for him.

As Ikaris barely managed to avoid a fatal blow, letting the purple imaginary mass only pierce his abdomen, he suddenly saw a figure appear beside him!

It was the White-Haired Mutant!

At the same time, he heard the whisper of a demon in his ear, echoing the words he had just said, but with a slight twist:

"You're weak, but you still have to die."

The Spatial Interference Device was destroyed by the previous attack, allowing Alex to use spatial jumps freely around Ikaris!

His short-distance spatial jump was faster than Ikaris's speed!

As Ikaris was distracted by the excruciating pain, Alex used Cursed Energy Manipulation and Energy Absorption to fully enhance himself. With his bones clearly defined, his hand slammed into Ikaris's face!

Amid the eruption of black and red lightning and countless deadly spatial slashes, mixed with the blood of the Eternals, who were once revered as gods, the two of them plummeted into the ocean like a meteor!

Before the vacuum in the seawater created by the imaginary mass had fully recovered, the impact of their collision once again pushed the seawater aside, sending hundred-meter-high waves into the sky!
