Chapter 115: Chapter 115: Portal Lv5

After killing Darkseid, Alex opened a teleportation gate and returned to Earth.

At that moment, Superman, Batman, and the other superheroes were still waiting in the same place, praying for Alex's safe return. Earth had managed to fend off Apokolips' invasion entirely because of Alex. He had defeated Mantis and Kalibak, preventing Earth from being conquered by Apokolips. If Alex had encountered any mishap while confronting Apokolips, Earth would have had no way to resist another attack.

Even though Alex had easily defeated the three top lieutenants of Apokolips, the heroes were still concerned that he might fall to the might of the planet, not only because of Apokolips' superior technology but also because of the many unknown artifacts and strategies Darkseid possessed. Even the strongest could face unexpected challenges.

Just as Superman and Batman were about to gather the other superheroes to discuss how they might assist Alex on Apokolips, The Flash noticed something and pointed to a spot in the air.

"I don't think that's necessary!"

Batman looked confused. "What??"

He immediately turned to look where The Flash was pointing. In the air, a teleportation gate opened, and from it emerged Alex

It had only been a few minutes since Alex went to Apokolips, and seeing him return without a single scratch, Batman didn't believe he had fought the forces of Apokolips. He assumed Alex must have sensed danger and returned quickly.

Thinking this, Batman comforted Alex, "Traveler Batman, you were right to come back when you sensed danger. Safety is the priority. We can come up with a detailed plan later and all head to Apokolips together to destroy it."

Hearing Batman's words, Alex looked at him, puzzled.

"What danger? Apokolips is already destroyed."

"What the—?" Batman blurted out in disbelief. "What did you say? Apokolips is destroyed?"

"Yes. What else did you expect?" Alex shrugged.

Batman was speechless.

All the superheroes fell silent.

Just moments ago, they had been worried about Alex's safety. And now, in just a few minutes, he had returned, telling them that Apokolips had been wiped out.

The news seemed so unbelievable that it felt dreamlike. But they all knew Alex would not lie, especially not about something so easily verifiable.

So, it was true. Apokolips had been destroyed—within a few minutes. Alex had killed countless Parademons, slaughtered many super-powered lieutenants, defeated Darkseid, and then destroyed the entire planet.

The most energetic of the group, The Flash, couldn't help but ask, "Hey, how did you do it?"

Alex spread his hands, explaining in a casual tone, "It's simple. You kill all the Parademons, wipe out the Female Furies, then kill all the high-ranking leaders of Apokolips, finally destroy the planet's core, and annihilate every bit of matter that makes up the planet. And, oh, you need to be immune to the Omega Beams and unaffected by the Anti-Life Equation. Only then can you defeat Darkseid."

"Cool!" The Flash exclaimed. Cyborg, standing nearby, asked him, "Do you even know what the Omega Beams and the Anti-Life Equation are?"

The Flash sheepishly responded, "No idea, but it sounded awesome."

Cyborg sighed, "Fair enough. It did sound awesome."

...

Additionally, after gaining the Third Tree Abyss, the abilities of the Platinum Wings were fully integrated into it, becoming part of the new power. Alex no longer needed to manifest wings to activate his full power, and his appearance remained unchanged.

Of course, he could still use all the abilities of the Platinum Wings—they weren't lost.

After destroying Apokolips, Alex found himself with little else to do. Over the next period, he used information from the movies to retrieve the Trident of Poseidon from the Trench.

The Trident of Poseidon granted control over the seas, but it held little use for Alex. It didn't contain infinite energy that could serve as a power source for his pocket universe. So, Alex gifted the Trident to Mera to enhance her abilities.

Having some rare free time, Alex rested for a while before returning to practicing his teleportation skills, aiming to level up the ability.

He had already explored nearly everything on Earth in the DCEU, so there was no longer a reason to stay. Now, he needed to travel to other universes to perfect his pocket universe.

Compared to the DCEU, Alex was more familiar with ways to improve his pocket universe in the Marvel Universe. But right now, he was being watched by the Celestials. If he returned to Marvel hastily, the Celestials, beings at the level of single-universe entities, would detect him and launch a coordinated attack. Although Alex had grown much stronger, he was still no match for the Celestials.

Thus, he focused on using his teleportation ability to travel to other worlds, and reaching level 5 with this skill would allow him to do just that.

...

With constant practice, Alex's teleportation skill finally leveled up again!

[Teleportation Gate Experience +1]

[Congratulations, your skill Teleportation Gate has leveled up!]

[Teleportation Gate Lv5 (1/20000): Consuming magic, you can open a portal to any dimension, universe, or world. You can also maintain a stable connection between dimensions and universes for as long as you have enough magic. Magic can be substituted with energy.]

With the skill upgraded, a flood of information entered Alex's mind. When everything settled, he could now clearly sense not just parallel universes but much more.

In the chaos beyond countless universes, many other worlds existed, standing tall. By expending a large amount of energy, Alex could now open a gate and break free from the constraints of any world, traveling to others.

For now, though, he couldn't control which world he would reach. But based on the information he received, Alex knew that if the Teleportation Gate reached level 6 he would be able to specify the world he wished to teleport to. If the skill leveled up even further, he could stabilize the gate between worlds, linking different universes together and creating a multi-world organization. This could allow for things like a legendary "multiverse chat group," creating an artificial "main god" system, or even producing artificial traversers. This would undoubtedly bring Alex even more fun, and he eagerly anticipated it.

Finally, after saying goodbye to Superman, Batman, and the other familiar superheroes, Alex opened a teleportation gate and embarked on his journey to other worlds.
