Chapter 419: Ch.418 Raven Reaper

"Argh!!!"

The Reaper, flying in the sky, let out an ear-piercing screech, swinging his massive scythe at the heroes around him, continuously spitting out urging words.

"This is the Great Graveyard. I am the ultimate ferryman. Come, Zatanna, Arabela, let me guide you to the world of magical death!"

The two sorceresses were in a desperate situation. This creature was almost immune to magic, so Arabela had to keep pulling Zatanna away, using short-range magical teleportations to dodge the enormous scythe.

Every time the scythe swung, the sand dunes it hit would explode like fireworks.

This clearly indicated what would happen if their bodies were struck.

Donna, being able to fly, still had the ability to fight back, but her Vulcan Sword was as insignificant as a toothpick against the enormous new Reaper—its damage was extremely limited.

The weapon could pierce into the enemy's body, but the opponent's skin was more than a meter thick. Every slash from her sword felt like exfoliating dead skin.

Su Ming thought that the Reaper should pay Donna for the service.

She tried to attack the creature's eyes or other vulnerable spots, but whenever she got close, the Reaper would change its focus to attack her.

It was precisely because of this that Arabela and Zatanna managed to stay alive on the ground for so long.

Detective Chimp, Bobo, was ignored completely—he stood on a nearby dune. This battle was beyond him, and it was clear that the Reaper had no interest in a mere chimpanzee.

"Not too difficult to deal with—it's just a physical monster," Su Ming observed for a moment and said to Barry, "First, take the two sorceresses to America to wait this out."

"Got it!"

Barry never doubted Su Ming's instructions. He immediately executed the strategy, setting Su Ming down on a nearby dune before he transformed into a red streak of light and disappeared with the two sorceresses.

He soon returned, awaiting further orders.

"You go and inspect all the pyramids and obelisks in the area. They must be the key to making this place a pillar of death. Anyway, dismantle them all and send them to Atlantis to build an amusement park."

Su Ming gave the second part of his plan.

During the previous invasion by the Omega Titans, Earth's geology was significantly affected, lifting the entire city of Atlantis from the seafloor to the ocean's surface.

Leaving those matters aside, Su Ming commanded his cape to fly him towards the Raven Reaper.

After suddenly losing its previous targets, the creature with the black wings was, of course, enraged. Its focus was now entirely on Donna and Bobo.

That gigantic scythe, with a blade as tall as a six-story building, was something no one wanted to get hit by.

In sheer size, the Reaper was even larger than Barbatos.

But Su Ming's instincts told him that, in terms of strength and aura, this Reaper was far weaker than Barbatos.

It wasn't surprising either—the Reaper was just a god of the dead. Its realm of the dead was currently empty—where could its power come from?

A lot of monks had died here earlier, but they were spiritual beings—once they died, they vanished without a trace. The Reaper gained nothing from them.

"Cape, take me to its back."

Fighting against such a colossal being was like trying to scale a mountain—a mountain that could fly, no less.

The rocking beneath his feet was intense. Every movement of the Raven Reaper felt like standing on a small boat in a typhoon—the violent jolts were enough to throw anyone off.

But Stranglehold was useful here. It seeped out from the gaps in Su Ming's leg armor, forming black tendrils like tree roots that anchored him securely.

And since the symbiote was connected to Su Ming's nervous system, every step or movement was smooth. If he wanted, he could even moonwalk on the Reaper's back.

Of course, there was no need for that now—his target was the Reaper's six wings.

The opponent's wings were enormous, even the base of the wings resembled skyscrapers. Luckily, Su Ming had just the right weapon for the task.

With wings like that, it was an obvious weakness—if he depended on those to fly, then Su Ming would simply strip away that ability.

Once the Reaper was grounded, Su Ming, with the advantage in the air, could handle him with ease.

"Godkiller, extend!"

With just a thought, the golden weapon in his hand extended in a most unscientific way.

However, because the required length was unprecedented even for Godkiller, it became incredibly thin. From a distance, it looked like Su Ming was holding a thread hundreds of meters long.
