Chapter 76 - Sisters?

"You only care about your skin? What about mine?" she bit his hand angrily.

"Ouch, are you a wild kitten?" her teeth were too sharp.

"You're the wild kitten. She got out of bed. She had something to deal with today. Something regarding Yun Xuan…and she believed the lazy man on the bed also had to go to his office.

Thinking about it, she dragged him out of bed and pulled him towards the bathroom. Lu Aotian felt his skin itch. "Baby, I can bathe when I want to, okay?" he said, trying to resist being pulled by her.

His strength obviously exceeded hers by leaps and bounds, but today he was just too lazy. He finally gave up. "Okay, you win. I'll take a bath now." She was still holding his hand. "…or…do you want to bathe together?" he looked at her with those typical teasing eyes.

"Who wants to bathe with you? I want to wash y…"

The first thing Wan Jia did after leaving North Side Villa was rush home to hug her baby girl. She had missed her terribly!

"Baby, Mommy is home!" she called out as usual.

"Miss, Little Miss hasn't returned yet." A maid said while trembling.

"Returned from where?"

"Second master took her with him."

"Oh"

She had almost forgotten. The little girl must have insisted on going with him to his house last night. Boring day ahead…

She took her phone and dialed a number.

"Hey, darling, let's hit the mall."

"What are you shopping for?" Yun Xuan, on the other side of the line, was speechless. Had this girl not gone shopping a few days ago? She still had lots of new clothes. Forget about those she said had been bought by Lu Aotian, she also had lots of those she had bought herself.

"I have a banquet in five days." She replied.

"What type of banquet and why am I not invited?" she joked.

"It's just Elder Qian's eightieth birthday, he invited many influential people in the fashion industry. I'm just going as Aotian's tag along."

Elder Qian was one of the best fashion designers of his time, winning every single award he was nominated for. To put it simply, he had about twenty major awards to his name, equal to the number of years he had been in the industry. He won some of them simply for existing.

He had only started out as a teenager and retired before he was even forty. Still, he kept winning special contribution awards. As a legend in the industry, his birthday banquet would of course host people from the industry. Most invited guests were people with great talent and had won awards in the past. People like Lu Aotian got invitations only because they were influential bosses behind the scenes.

Since this would be a great opportunity for her to interact with people who may be helpful in her career in future, he didn't hesitate to invite her as is female companion.

"Oh, elder Qian's birthday, how could I forget? I have an invitation too. Let's meet at the mall then." It wasn't unusual for Yun Xuan to receive one too, since she was the daughter of General Yun and owned a studio.

"Boss, may I take a look at this diamond bracelet?" she pointed at the first beautiful item she saw."

"Miss, you have good taste." The middle aged lady said before explaining to her the value, price and even offered to give her discount.

"Thanks for the trouble, but I haven't decided what to buy yet." She gracefully rejected the lady's offer to wrap it up as a present.

"Oh, how about your sister? You sisters are both very pretty and would look dazzling in any of our pieces. Oh, we have jade bracelets too, on your right. I'll help you find two that look as similar as possible if you both have the same taste."

Wan Jia looked a little stunned. Sisters? Same taste? Had this lady mistaken them for identical twins?

Although Yun Xuan had blonde hair with long bangs that almost covered her eyes and was wearing sunglasses today, this lady seemed to have drawn the similarities between them too easily.

She obviously took Wan Jia for the cheeky troublemaker judging from how she came dragging Yun Xuan in, while the latter looked like the meek and obedient child.

Wan Jia peeked at her friend. "Is anything…the matter?"

"I forgot about the blind date. I should have been there at 12pm. It's already 2pm." She pulled her hair.

"He's not your boyfriend. Why are you so worked up?" she sounded so indifferent.

"But I made plans with him. Isn't it too rude to be late?"
