Chapter 174 - Little Jia and Little Brownie

Name:My Beautiful Love Author:Avalorian_
Since Little Jia would be going along with Wan Jia, Lin Lihua ordered for toys online as soon as she arrived in her apartment. She had no time to bake, so she also ordered chocolate brownies and tiramisu for them from the best pastry shop.

A short while just after they had been delivered, Wan Jia and Little Jia arrived. The little girl was extremely excited to visit her Aunty Lihua's home for the first time.

"Aunty!" she jumped right into Lin Lihua's arms when they entered the house.

Lin Lihua smiled at Wan Jia and greteed her before picking up the little bundle of pink cuteness.

"My beautiful baby, did you miss me?"

"I missed aunty very much." she said in her adorable little voice and routinely kissed her on the cheek.

Lin Lihua was pleased. "Aunty bought you something. Let's take a look,"

Wan Jia, who had only been smiled at once, was very jealous. She had only brought Little Jia along to play, not to steal her limelight!

She watched as the little girl opened a box of brownies and instantly showered Lin Lihua with love.

"Right, Little Jia, I'll show you something else in my room, okay?" Only then was Wan Jia remembered. "Little Wan, you come too."

They were both excited and followed Lin Lihua to her room.

After looking around for a while, Wan Jia did not see anything different. She was just about to ask when they both saw, next to Lin Lihua's bed, an adorable pink and white cup bed. A little white bundle of fluffiness peered at them from the cup bed.

"A kitten!" Little Jia exclaimed. She instantly rushed over, almost tripping on her own legs.

The little kitten was scared by Little Jia's outburst of excitement and scurried away when it saw her approach.

She looked down sadly. "It doesn't like me."

Lin Lihua almost laughed out loud when she saw her niece's dejected look. "It's just very shy. Don't worry, it will come back when it's not scared anymore."

"Mmh." Little Jia nodded.

Sure enough, the kitten only stayed away for a few minutes and came back. Lin Lihua took it into her arms and looked at the two sitting on her bed. "Little Jia, do you want to pet it?"

The little girl stuck out her hand curiously. When her palms felt the warm fluffiness, she giggled and withdrew her little hand. She reached out again and stroked it a little more. So this was how a kitten felt like in real life.

"Do you like it?" Lin Lihua asked. Little Jia nodded as she continued stroking the curious kitten.

Lin Lihua smiled. "I'm glad you like it. Didn't aunty promise you a kitten before? You can keep her."

"Really?" the little girl looked up at Lin Lihua, her eyes almost full of stars.

Lin Lihua laughed. "Really."

"Then, thank you aunty! I love it so much."

Wan Jia was not particularly interested in pets but she stroked it a little.

"Meow..." the little kitten purred when Little Jia took it from Lin Lihua's arms. It also rubbed its head of fur against her. It was very ticklish as Little Jia laughed amusedly.

Wan Jia smiled at the lovey dovey pair. "It likes you. What will you name it?"

Little Jia gave it a thought. "Mmh...I'll name her Brownie."

The adults looked at each other speechlessly. She just had to name it after food.

"Nice name, Little Jia. You can play with it and take it home with you later."

She turned to Wan Jia when the little girl took her new pet to the cup bed. "Little Wan, you don't like kittens?"

Wan Jia shook her head. "I'm not interested in pets. Sis Lihua, thank you very much. You treat Little Jia and I very nicely."

"Uh, don't start with the formalities. You're like my little sister. Why wouldn't I treat you well? Besides, I love children."

Wan Jia's heart filled with warmth. "How is auntie?" the 'auntie' she was referring to was Lin Lihua's mother and incidentally, hers too.

"Mom is doing well. She misses you a lot. You should visit her again." she smiled.

"I will, I miss her too."

Lin Lihua was actually tempted to call Xia Rou over. However, she had this bugging feeling that she should be more careful. She felt as though someone was watching her.

"Sis Lihua, what are you thinking about? You are frowning so much!" Wan Jia laughed.

She was so engrossed in thought that she did not notice Little Jia who was busy asking her about Brownie's habbits and what it ate.

The little girl finally remembered to ask a question that she had been wondering about. "Mommy, is auntie your sister?" Her analogy was that her uncle always called her daddy 'bro' because they were brothers. Since her mother always called Aunty Lihua 'sis' it should mean they were sisters, right?

Her question was just out of innocent curiosity, but Lin Lihua's heart raced so fast that Wan Jia almost found something wrong with her expression.

Luckily, she was an experienced actress. "You're too cute Little Jia. Your mommy is just like my own Little sister, so she calls me sis."

The conversation took a different dramatic turn. The little girl frowned. "Aunty has a little sister? Tangtang has a little sister too and Daddy has a little brother. Why don't I have one?"
