Chapter 236 - Little Jia's little brother

He felt disgusted just thinking about it. "Don't involve yourself in other people's business. If she finds out on her own, it will be for her own good but if she doesn't, it's not up to you to tell her."

Wan Jia nodded. Her man had a point. The last time she had thought of herself as the saint who tries to open the eyes of people around her, she recieved the worst tongue lashing she had ever recieved in her life. She did not wish for history to repeat itself. She was still shocked and couldn't drive so they swapped seats.

"Why don't you drive slowly today? We can chat all the way home." she said.

Lu Aotian nodded and slowed down. Wan Jia hugged his arm and breathed in his scent. There were not many cars on the road today, it was just the perfect atmosphere for her to think about him. Well, she was so in love with him that she could think about their sweet time together wherever she was.

She could give her whole life to be with him like this; just the two of them together, no Yuns distracting them, no love rivals on the way...

when he was least expecting it, she turned and kissed him on the cheek. Lu Aotian smiled and stopped the car a few metres ahead. He cupped her chin and kissed her deeply, almost stealing all the breath away from her lungs.

Hoonk!

Only when they heard the furious honking of cars behind them did they remember where they were. The other drivers were angry. It's already bad enough that you are driving very slowly and causing a traffic jam. Do you also have to stop in the middle of the road to make out? Dude! Do you own the road?

They were in bad luck today because that was Lu Aotian. Even if they called the traffic officers, they would at most only politely ask him to follow the traffic rules.

When they arrived at Southside Villa, it was already late thanks to their sluggish speed paired with kisses at every chance they got. She was just about to get off the car in the underground garage when he held her back.

"What's wrong?" she inquired.

Lu Aotian kissed her then nibbled on her ear slightly. "We have never done it in this car, have we?"

Wan Jia blushed. "We don't have to do it everywhere on earth, do we?"

In the past, almost every spot in Southside Villa had been 'tainted' by them. This car was new, so it had not yet suffered that fate. He wordlessly went for her lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck but stopped. "Little Jia must be waiting for us."

She was right. The little girl had indeed seen the car arrive from the window of her room and was wondering what was taking them so long. She had a huge favour to ask of them, okay?

"What's taking Mommy and Daddy so long?" she asked Lu Shaoting who had gone over to play with her.

Her uncle mumbled under his breath. "They must be making you a little brother in the car."

"A little brother?" Her big round eyes lit up like the stars.

Lu Shaoting cursed. Crap! Was I that loud?

"Baby, that's not what I meant..." He tried to explain but the little girl sas too excited to hear him. She ran all the way downstairs just in time to see her parents walk in.

She rushed even faster and bumped into them in a hug. "Daddy! Mommy! Did you make Little Jia's little brother? Where is he? Can I see him?"

Lu Shaoting slapped his forehead. Little grandaunt, you are asking for my life.

Lu Aotian and Wan Jia frowned. What little brother?

Lu Aotian glared at his younger brother murderously. What kind of nonesense was this idiot telling his princess?

Little Jia peered behind her parents to see if they had hidden her little brother behind them. When she did not see any, she turned and touched Wan Jia's belly. It was not big. There was no little brother inside. She looked at Lu Shaoting like he was the worst jerk on earth. "Uncle is a liar! Uncle said that Daddy and Mommy were making me a little brother. Where is he?"

Wan Jia slapped her forehead.

Lu Aotian intensified his glare at Lu Shaoting.

Lu Shaoting picked up the sulky little girl, afraid she would cry. He would die here today if this little princess shed a single tear. "Little Jia, although you don't have a little brother, Tangtang's little sister will arrive soon. Second uncle will take you to see her, okay?"

Little Jia looked up with starry eyes as if asking when that would be.

"Er..." how to explain to a three year old that the due date is in two days? He could only scratch his head. "Whatever it is, you will be able to see Tangtang's little sister very soon."

She tilted her head and knitted her brows. "Isn't she is his mommy's belly? Do we have to go there?"

Wan Jia burst into laughter and ran off. This conversation would kill her if she listened to it. Who was it that said that Little Jia is as intelligent as kids older than twice her age? The kind of questions she asked...no one would believe she was turning four in a few months.
