Chapter 241 - Daddy is the most handsome man on earth

Once they left Little Jia's school, Lu Aotian held a meeting with his top five bodyguards. 

"The five or you are in charge of taking care of my daughter. You must protect her but she must never know of your presence." 

If the little girl knew that she was being followed by bodyguards, she might become paranoid. Apart from that reason, the school did not allow bodyguards to follow children around but they had made an exception for Lu Aotian. It would not be too nice for other kids if their classmate kept being openly protected by a whole group pf five. 

The five men agreed in unison. After giving them instructions, they went into hiding and Lu Aotian drove off with Wan Jia.

In Royal Kindergarten. 

Teacher Gao took Little Jia to class and introduced her to her classmates. "Meet your new classmate, her name is Lu Meili. You should be friendly with her and help her settle in." 

As soon as Little Jia was introduced, several kids offered her a place to sit. That was expected. Children appreciated good looks and Little Jia was quite lovable.

The little girl scanned around the class and did not see the person she was looking for, so she frowned. 

After being probed by the teacher for a while, she reluctantly went to sit next to a cute little girl.

Later, when the kids went to play, Little Jia sat on her own with no intention to play with other kids. she dropped her bag on the floor and tears started rolling down her cheeks.

Soon, the little girl who had sat beside her in class noticed her and went over. "Lu Meili?" 

She saw that Little Jia looked very sad.

The little girl sat beside Little Jia and looked at her curiously. "Lu Meili, why are you crying?"

Little Jia remained silent.

"Are you crying because you miss your mommy? I miss mine too. Don't worry, everyone here is very friendly. In no time, you will forget that you miss her." Little Jia did not stop crying.

The little girl took out a candy from her bag and gave it to Little Jia. "Lu Meili, my name is Shen Yue but you can call me Little Yue. I'll be your friend, okay?" 

Little Jia took the candy and wiped her tears. "Thank you." 

Following that, Little Jia stopped crying and played with Shen Yue. She was still disappointed about not seeing Tangtang but she temporarily forgot about it. 

After school, Lu Aotian went to pick her up quite early. Shen Yue's parents had not yet arrived. 

Shen Yue was dragged to meet Little Jia's father. "Daddy, I made a new friend. She is Little Yue." 

"Good girl." He wanted to say hi to Little Jia's little friend but the latter hid behind Little Jia.

She was scared of Lu Aotian. "Lu Meili, your daddy is too scary. I'll wait for my mommy in the playing zone." She ran away. 

Little Jia frowned and jumped into her father's arms. "Is there something wrong with her eyes? How is my daddy scary?" 

She peered at his face and scanned it then touched it all over as though performing a very delicate experiment."Not scary. Not scary at all. My daddy is very handsome." 

Lu Aotian chuckled. "Really? How handsome?" 

Little Jia nodded with a thousand watt smile. "Uh huh. Daddy is the most handsome man in the world. Even more handsome than Uncle Shaoting." 

Lu Aotian's heart warmed up. Who taught his little princess how to butter up to people? She obviously wanted something from him. Could it be any more obvious? 

"Does my darling princess want daddy to do something?" He asked. 

Sure enough, the little girl hid her face in his neck. "Daddy..." 

"What is it princess?" 

"Why did I not see Tangtang today?" 

So it was about Tangtang. As expected, she prefered to be near kids she was already familiar with. He answered her, "That's because Tangtang is not in your school." 

The little girl looked sad. "Why? Daddy, I want to be in Tangtang's school." 

"Tangtang is in a primary school." 

"But I want to be in Tangtang's school." She blinked her eyes that were already wet. 

Lu Aotian was at a loss. "Princess, you will. But that is only after two years when you are old enough, okay?" 

"It's not okay!" She sobbed. 

Lu Aotian rubbed her back. "What can you do about it?" 

"Daddy can take me to Tangtang's school, right?" 

"I can." The little girl was about to jump up in happiness but he spoke again. "Two years later."

She frowned and looked at her father. "Does daddy even still love me? What happened to 'daddy loves Little Jia the most'?" 

His daughter was getting better at guilt-tripping people.

"Daddy still loves Little Jia the most. That's why today, we are going to pick Mommy up from work." 

"Eh? Picking mommy up? Daddy still loves me!"
