Chapter 248 - Does it not suit your taste?

Luckily she had immediately saved herself of potential trouble. If not, Lu Shaoting would have told her that he had just tracked her phone and it was in the restaurant. 

Since she had found it, Lu Shaoting didn't think too much about it and sat down. He was not sure whether it was just his imagination or he had seen a look of relief in her eyes when he did not probe further. 

And why did it feel like she was looking at him differently since he came back? 

Noticing his gaze, she picked her wineglass, holding the stem delicately and took a sip. "This wine tastes so refreshing. You should have a taste." 

Lu Shaoting took a sip and frowned. 

"What is it?" She pretended to be concerned. "Does it not suit your taste? I'm sorry for not asking before ordering my favourite brand. I'll change it now." She reached for the menu to check other brands. 

Lu Shaoting stopped her. "It tastes different from how I remember it." 

She smiled innocently. "Perhaps you forgot the taste? You should confirm it." 

Afraid that he wouldn't drink it again, she stood up, held the wineglass against his lips in a romantic gesture and made him drink it. She even took a sip of it herself to eliminate any suspiscions about her adding something. If they were both under aphrodisiac, it would be even more fun, right?

To her relief, Lu Shaoting's suspiscions semeed to have died down as he took yet another sip and continued eating his food. What amazed her the most was that he did not push her away when she put the wineglass against his lips. Could it be that he found her too attractive to push her away?

Having made Lu Shaoting drink the wine, she was worried about something else. Her sister had said that this particular drug acted very fast and he would have a reaction within twenty minutes. 

She sat back down and while he ate, she secretly used her phone to book a room in the hotel across the road. She was a VIP member there and only needed to send a message for a suite to be provided. 

Within the next few minutes, she saw that his gaze had started changing. He was taking longer peeks at her and his eyes looked quite passionate... 

It was almost time. She pursed her lips and looked at him seductively. "Shaoting, are you tired? Do you want to rest?" 

She grabbed his hand and smiled charmingly. No man would ever resist this, much less one that had been strongly drugged.

Lu Shaoting pulled her close to him. Thanks to the strong aphrodisiac, his eyesight was no longer very clear. All he knew was that there was a woman next to him and she was wearing a red dress. In his eyes, that was Su Ling. 

Yan Xue knew from his gesture that he was no longer aware of his actions. She pulled herself even closer to him and whispered in his ear. "Shaoting, let's go to the hotel across the road. We can spend the night there." She had started feeling the effects of the drug too and she didn't want to suddenly lose control and do it here.

Lu Shaoting frowned a little. Why did Su Ling smell different? He touched her and she felt different as well. However, the effect of the drug overrode his rationality and he did not push her away. His mind still strongly believed that the woman next to him was Su Ling. 

As a result, he neither agreed to Yan Xue's suggestion nor refused. 

She took his silence for consent and took her purse and phone. It was his treat so she did not pay the bill. She felt it would hurt his pride. Naturally, it was put on his name. 

Luckily, his steps were still firm so she only had to support him a little. 

Once in the hotel room, she pushed him onto the bed and started pondering whether to help him out of his clothes. 

It was going to be her fist time after all and she was not sure what to do. All that mattered to her was that she was giving her first time to the man she had loved for years. 

Gathering her courage, she took off her dress and climbed onto him. 

"Ling..." he mumbled. 

"What?" Yan Xue did not hear him clearly and probed. 

When he did not speak again for a while, she leaned in and gathered her courage to caress his face. Being very close to him, she was feeling more excited and wanted to be with him sooner. She quickly helped him out of his clothes, unaware that the man was only happy because he had mistaken her for another woman.

However, as soon as their lips touched, Lu Shaoting was startled. He had kissed Su Ling today and her lips did not taste this way! 

He suddenly pushed the woman off him. A little clear headed from the kiss, he stumbled into the bathroom. 

Yan Xue was a little clear-headed too from being pushed away. 

Why did he push her? He was already muddle headed. She was already half-naked. Did he not find her sexy enough? What happened to being so excited that he wouldn't wait to pin her down and have her? 

She could not accept this outcome.
