Chapter 348 - They're sisters!

Three weeks into their engagement, Lin Lihua posted a photo of her hand with the engagement ring. She didn't add any caption but her fans understood what she meant.

Pick Up Lines [Goodness! What did I just see? My queen is engaged?]

Love Lihua Forever [That's indeed our Lihua's hand. She's engaged? Boohoo!]

Lin Lihua laughed at her fans' comments. They were acting as though they were her elder brothers and sisters.

Most women were happy for her while the men who had idolized her for years were disappointed. She didn't know that one of her middle aged fans, her future mother-in-law, was also wondering who the lucky man that won her heart was. Mrs. Blanc even spent hours feeling regretful that the lucky man was not her son.

Soon after Lin Lihua's engagement was announced, Lu Aotian let the media outlets release another piece of news about her. He had restricted the news from spreading out previously while waiting for the right time and this was it.

It was just a short line accompanied by a photo of Wan Jia and Lin Lihua together. They were wearing elegant dresses of different types but from the same series. The caption was a simple line [No wonder they get along so well, they are sisters!]

The internet was suddenly in uproar. The Lin family had another daughter? Everyone only knew of Lin Lihua.

[No wonder she kept helping Wan Jia out in the past. It turns out she was only being a good elder sister.]

As for the explanation, Xia Rou and Lin Zhou chose to not provide any. Wan Jia was not an actress and didn't need to explain her life to anyone.

When the Yun father and son heard the news, they were expectedly taken aback. General Yun was more shocked than anyone else. He had spent so much time trying to find out who Xia Rou ran off with those years ago, only to find out that it was Lin Zhou? He didn't have any past grudge against Lin Zhou but now he had one. That wasn't Lu Aotian's expected result but things were still within his grasp.

"This wasn't part of the plan. That maniac is on Lin Zhou's neck. Although we don't particularly like him, he shouldn't suffer because of us, right?" After all it was because of them that the news about Wan Jia's real family was being revealed.

"Just stick to the plan. Buy as much time as possible. I'll protect the Lin family." Lu Aotian said to Lu Shaoting.

Lu Shaoting nodded and reported something else. "Someone has started buying the company shares." He showed Lu Aotian some share transfer agreements. Both of them were transferred to an anonymous person at ridiculously low prices. It was obvious the other parties had been forced into selling their shares.

Lu Aotian didn't need to use up his brain to know who it was. "That's Yun Jifeng. Don't mind him. Even if he bought shares from everyone who isn't a member of the Lu family, he would at most only become a major shareholder."

"Well, he can't do that even if he sold all his family's property. Besides money is not the only factor here. For instance, those elder shareholders would rather die than betray the company. However, what if he bought over the subsidiaries? That would cause a huge downfall."

"Bought them from who?" Lu Aotian looked at him like he was asking silly questions. 

"You're right. I'm asking silly questions. If there's nothing else, I'll go to my wife now." Since Wan Jia was preparing to leave Elite Fashion World, Su Ling had less work to do lately. Wan Jia was also planning to help her find a temporary job. If she still wished to work for her in her new brand, Wan Jia would let her. If not, she was free to find another job on her own.

"You better not keep taking her off work. If she slacks off and makes my wife overwork herself, I'll have a fight to pick with you." Lu Aotian warned with a stern expression.

"Don't worry about that." Lu Shaoting fled before his brother forcefully found him a new task to do.
