Chapter 400 - Don't call me your brother

In the huge conference hall on the twenty first floor, Lu Aotian was holding a meeting with the top management employees. He was waiting for Wan Jia to arrive before starting the meeting. 

After seeing Wan Jia handle various business matters, the top management employees no longer doubted her abilities. They were finally convinced that an adorable little thing who is a fashion designer can also handle business. 

She arrived just one minute before the meeting was set to begin and sat on Lu Aotian's right side. Lu Shaoting was sitting on the left. 

Although everyone was curious about why Lu Shaoting no longer sat on his brother's right, no one dared to ask. 

In the following one hour, the top management employees reported the effect of this incident on all departments. It was not as bad as expected, thanks to the Lu family's influence.

Lu Aotian looked at Wan Jia. "You know what to do." 

"Yes, I'll handle them appropriately." 

Aside from the media houses, Lu Shaoting would solve most internal issues. Lu Aotian would use the chance to get all those small fries into his grip.

Henry Blanc was fuming in anger. "Go and explain to the media that you did this on your own. If not, don't ever call me your brother." 

However, Amy Blanc became hysterical and rushed to their parents. "Mom, Henry is bullying me." 

"Are you crazy? You! Very good." What an actress. Did she think she was still a little girl?

Getting wind of the sibling battle, Mr. Blanc summoned his son to the study. 

"What's going on with your sister?" 

Henry Blanc didn't know what to say about that spoilt br*t. "I don't know since when she makes decisions on behalf of Le Blanc Group. Whatever, I want her to clarify the matter. Although Lu Enterprises doesn't need anyone's help and can manage to handle their problems on their own, we can't trod on them while they're down." 

"You're right about that. But since your sister already did this, wouldn't we be the focus of the spotlight if we clarified the matter?" It would be fine if this was a positive form of publicity, but that would ruin their reputation. The only way was either accepting the blame of being two-sided and indecisive, or pushing Amy in front of the bus by saying that she lied. Both solutions would have a negative effect on the company. 

"Don't worry. I'll do a clean job." 

"I believe you." Of course he trusted his son. If Henry Blanc wasn't smart and capable, he wouldn't have been able to make Le Blanc Group as great as it is.

The first thing Henry Blanc did was give Lu Aotian a call. "This is a misunderstanding." 

"I know." Lu Aotian said.

Although the news made many companies follow the lead and rid their relations with Lu Enterprises, he couldn't bother with them. He couldn't blame his friend's family either.

He did not explain any further. It was up to them to fill in the blanks.

Below the headlines, there was a photo of Henry Blanc and Lin Lihua holding hands. 

As expected, the public attention was shifted. Lin Lihua's fans were in a uproar. 

[Our beautiful queen is getting married soon. Will be be invited to the wedding?]

He had asked for permission from his future wife to use their engagement as a way to divert attention. Since this was related to Lu Enterprises, she had agreed. 

Amy Blanc sulked all day and berated her brother as soon as he was home. "It's because of that woman, right? You did this for her!" 

"That's none of your business." 

Amy Blanc sneered. "She is older than you! Aren't you scared that you will not have kids? I'm just worried about you, but you don't ever appreciate my efforts. 

Henry Blanc held her shoulders and looked into her eyes coldly. "Amelia Blanc, you are my biological sister. Stop assuming the role of a wife!"
