Wan Jia wrapped her small hands tighter around his waist, practically sticking onto his broad back. "What? I can't love my husband more?" 

Lu Aotian chuckled and turned to rub her head dotingly. "If you keep sticking onto me so much, dangerous things might happen." 

Wan Jia noticed his ragged breathing and pulled away as though his back had scalded her. Of course, she understood the dangerous things that could happen as a result of her sticking onto him. 

She looked at him timidly. "The first three months are the most dangerous." 

Lu Aotian sat her on the sofa in the study. "What about it?" 

She wrapped his jacket over her face, as though hiding away from him. "Nothing...nothing dangerous will happen, right?" 

Lu Aotian looked at her in the eye. "Are you trying to say that after the third month is over, we will be able to have sex?" 

Wan Jia's cheeks flushed crimson. How could he simply say such things? 

But, she was his wife. There was nothing strange about that. 

"Well..." 

Lu Aotian laughed at her expression that looked like she had been put in a difficult position. "I won't tease you anymore. Why are you here?" 

Of course, she had not only come to give him coffee. There had to be something else. 

Wan Jia looked at him timidly. "Will you still let me work at Lu Enterprises?" 

"No." Came the answer she had been expecting. 

"But I can't stay at home idly. I need to work too, don't I?" 

"You don't have to. I can provide for the family." Came the arrogant answer. 

Wan Jia was at a loss. At this rate, she would have to stay at home with absolutely nothing to do. She stood up from the sofa and went over to sit on his lap. "But if I stay at home, I'll be bored to death. Let me go back to work, okay? I'll take good care of myself." 

"Ok." 

Wan Jia was still prepared to use more words of coaxing. Her hand that was going to hug his chest paused in mid air. Okay? 

He had already agreed? 

She smiled at him mischeviously and kissed his cheek. "I knew you still love me the most!" 

Before he said anything else, she swiftly left with a smile on her face.

Lu Aotian was speechless. She only came to ask for a favor and skipped away when she had her way.

"Not so fast, be careful." He said after her. 

Once outside, Wan Jia was in thought. When she went into the study room just now, she thought she saw him cover up something using a file. 

She had not read too much into it because she knew that it couldn't be anything to worry about. It was not like Lu Aotian would ever cheat on her, right? 

However, when she sat on his lap, she caught a glimpse unintentionally. 

She saw that it was a photo of him, but as a child. The boy in the photo would be of about Tangtang's height. He was perhaps six or seven. There was someone else in the photo but she did not see who they were because it was just a brief unintentional glance.

If she were to make a guess, the other person could possibly be Lu Shaoting. After all, he was the only person close to Lu Aotian when they were kids. 

Even if it was neither Lu Shaoting nor Lu Tongyan, the whole photo was nothing much. So why did he hide it? Was there something she didn't know?

Wan Jia looked at her and smiled. So those Lu brothers wanted to do things the same way. Because she was allowed to work, Su Ling was allowed, too. If Lu Aotian refused her, would Lu Shaoting also keep his woman under his nose and not let her go anywhere? 

Of course, this flashed her mind for only one second, and she was back to business. 

"Su Ling will be the Vice CEO of MAX." 

"Huh?" 

"What?" 

Everyone gasped. 

Just like that, Su Ling was promoted to such a huge position? 

Also, couldn't she prepare them for such a surprise? She had simply said it as though it was nothing.
