Chapter 467 - Call him daddy forever

Since she had requested to go and visit Ruoxi, Henry Blanc agreed. "What if we go back to Country C tomorrow? We can visit Ruoxi after registering our marriage." 

"We are registering in Country C?" 

"If not, we will register here and permanently stay in Country C?" 

His question made Lin Lihua feel like she was a fool. She had indeed asked the obvious. Since they would be staying in Country C, it was only right for them to register their marriage there. 

"Then I will tell Katy to pack her things." He said. 

But he did not need to, because the girl was looking for her uncle to ask him a question and overhead him. "Daddy, are we going somewhere? Is aunty coming too?" 

Her face revealed her happiness. She liked travelling. So much that one of her wishes was to tour every state of the world. 

If her aunt was coming along, it would be even more fun. Her aunty Lihua will hug her like a little girl and tell her bedtime stories. Which girl her age wouldn't enjoy this? Let alone who had been deprived of her mother's attention in the name of her growing up. 

The best part of it was that aunty Lihua will not become close to other uncles. She only had her Uncle Henry in her mind. 

That was right. Although thanks to Henry Blanc's intervention Amy Blanc had not introduced any man to Katy, it did not mean the girl had not ever seen some of them. 

She in fact kept wondering why it was that her mother kept video calling those strange uncles. She did not like them at all. If it was because one of them was going to be her father in future, she would rather stick to her uncle and call him "daddy" forever. 

At the present moment, the adults did not know what was going on in the girl's mind and only instructed her to be quick in her packing because they were going back to Country C. 

"Daddy, where did mommy go?" Katy asked when she was done packing. 

Henry Blanc was helpless. He had been avoiding this question for days. How exactly was one supposed to explain to such a young child that her mother had commited a crime and was in prison?  

He took her small hand and pulled her into a hug. "Katy, your mum will be back soon. Before then, you will not be alone. Don't you have aunty and me?" 

Lin Lihua looked aside. She did not like his way of handling this. 

Although she was still a child, she deserved to know the truth. How was Henry Blanc planning to handle it? Avoid the matter for seven years and let Amy Blanc tell her the truth when she regained freedom? 

Katy looked at her uncle for a moment, trying to get information about her mother from what he said. Alas, she got none. "Daddy, when mommy comes back, will she still love me?" 

Henry Blanc kissed her cheek. "Of course. Your mum loves you the most."

When her mother did not show up for a while, she had started thinking that some strange uncle would take her away. 

She hugged her uncle's leg tightly. Mommy would be back. She just had to wait a little.

That would be huge to handle. She was just a little girl. He would tell her about it in tiny bits, so she could get the point without being shocked. 

Actually, Katy Blanc was now his daughter. 

He had made the decision a long time ago to take her away from Amy Blanc. She was too irresponsible to be a mother. 

When he discussed the matter with her, Amy Blanc admitted that she had indeed not been a good mother. She agreed to let her brother fully take care of Katy until her term was over.

He would only not adopt Katy legally, because she would still be Amy Blanc's daughter upon the latter's release. 

Henry Blanc rubbed the head of the girl who was trying to act strong despite missing her mother. Even if mommy ignored her so often that it made her feel unloved, she was still her mother. She missed her very much.

Unlike Little Jia, she understood the concept of marriage more. "So you will officially become my aunty? Will you still love me? And when you get other kids, my cousins, will you still hug me and tell me bedtime stories?" 

Lin Lihua's heart clenched. "Katy, you are too cute. I will still love you very much and even when your cousins arrive, I will still hug you and tell you bedtime stories; until you feel that you are too old for it." 

Katy was estatic. Aunty was the best. She hugged Lin Lihua's legs. "I love you aunty." 

Not believing that this was the little devil from before, Lin Lihua crouched to hug her. "I love you too Katy."....
