Chapter 471 - Dismiss Su Ling temporarily

He was almost sure that there was really something happening, related to something or someone important. His insticts had never been wrong. Who or what would it be related to this time?

While sipping on his wine, the nagging feeling disappeared. 

This was an important mission that he was on with his boss. He had to stay focused. 

They were pretty much done with their meal before the man finally arrived. They greeted him formally before getting down to their main purpose. In the end, Wan Jia already knew what kind of colors and designs would suit the man. 

She also taught Lin Ye to use people's characteristics to choose materials, texture and colors. 

Although he was a renown designer and even Wan Jia had to admit that he was among the nation's best, he could only randomly make designs, or according to people's preference.

Lin Ye jolted and looked at his boss, stunned by her sudden harsh tone. "Sorry CEO. You said to prepare for a spring season fashion show because EFW is not holding one any soon and it will boost MAX's fame?" 

Wan Jia's expression eased. At least he was listening to her. Unlike Su Ling, he was better at paying some attention even while spacing out. As for the former, she was afraid she might have to dismiss her from work temporarily. 

Since getting pregnant, Su Ling had become extremely clumsy and would mess up things she was perfect at before. 

If she remained in MAX during this time, the two women might have a fall out. After all, Wan Jia was pregnant too and was as potent as usual. It made little sense. 

"Boss, can I leave for a minute?" 

Wan Jia's gaze unconciously shifted towards the direction Lin Ye was looking. She raised an eyebrow but did not ask about it. "Okay. But on one condition."

"Don't come back here before one hour is over."

In the same hotel. 

Yun Xuan had not left the country yet. She wanted to do so after Yun Wei's and Yun Jifeng's sentence. She really wanted to see that monstrous pair of beasts pay for their crimes. Only then would she be at peace while leaving the country.

The man was taken aback. "Darling, have you lost your memory? I'm your husband, Qin Zhan." 

Yun Xuan pushed him away violently. "Where's security? This strange man is bullying me." 

What did he mean, her husband? All she felt for him was disgust. She did not even hate him; she felt it below her. Crap like him were not worth any feeling from her. 

However, the man must have been always prepared for the day he would meet her again. Because he fished out a small red booklet from God knows where and waved it in front of the security guards who were approaching. "She is my wife. How can I be a strange man and how can I possibly bully her?"
