Chapter 477 - She had to do this

Yun Xuan put the boy to sleep and went to the study. She sat behind the desk and took out her phone. It was almost time to implement the other part of her decision. 

She dialled a contact and made a call. The other end recieved the call after a few rings and a deep husky voice came booming in her ears. "Hello." 

Yun Xuan did not flinch. "See you on Wednesday the fifth." 

The man seemed to be quite busy, as he put her on hold for a while before getting back to her a little later. "Are you sure that you want to do this? You should know, you cannot change your mind and the result might or might not impress you. It all depends on fate." 

Although the other party was obviously trying to discourage her, she did not change her mind. She had made this decision after a lot of consideration. "I am sure of it. I will not regret it." 

"Alright missy. See you on Wednesday the fifth of this month." After saying this, he hung up without waiting for Yun Xuan to respond. Young ladies these days!

When Yun Xuan had settled that, she went ahead to try to speak to a few bosses in the entertainment industry. 

For a stylist like her, the people she could work for at the moment were models, actors and actresses or artists. While in Country C, she could not possibly remain idle until the day of her return to Country G. 

Unfortunately, she no longer held a high status in society. She was not the boss of YX Brand anymore, and she had stripped herself of the title of the heiress of the Yun family. 

Besides the latter title was meaningless. Even if she had it, it would not help her. General Yun was after all a criminal who had been accused of multiple crimes including murder and was awaiting his trial in the military court. Being the heiress of such a family would bring her more harm than good. 

Due to her lack of status, she was not able to contact any of the big bosses. She could only speak to their assistants who did not have time to listen to her, much less let her explain her purpose. She could not contact the artistes directly either. 

Besides trying to connect to them, she had been going to entertainment agencies with her résumé quite often. 

However, because her surname was still Yun despite cutting relations with that family, everyone seemed to look at her with extra pairs of judging eyes. It was for this reason that she could not find a job yet. 

The biggest challenge was of course the fact that she could not leave Yun Feng alone for too long. Although the nanny was taking good care of him, that little boy's mood was unpredictable. Sometimes he would remain calm in Yun Xuan's absence, but at other times he would wail and throw a fit until he felt his mother's presence.

The only exception was when the boy was with Xia Rou in the Lin residence. She could have asked Xia Rou for help but then again, Xia Rouhad her own life to live and work to report to. She could not keep bothering people with her problems. 

She could only look for a part-time job which was harder than finding a full-time job. 

Despite all that, she was not going to give up. Her son needed her, so she must be able to handle all this. 

In a moment, a thought crossed her mind. HL Entertainment must still be hiring since it was still new, right? 

If she tried, could she get a job there? 

At least she was sure of one thing. She had spent some time with Lin Lihua and hence knew that Lin Lihua was a truthful woman.  

If she qualified to work at HL Entertainment, Lin Lihua would not care about her family background like other people did. If she was not hired, it would mean that she truly did not qualify. 

She had spoken to Lin Lihua casually this morning, and the latter had said that she was going back to Country C the next day. Their flight had been cancelled to the next day because something came up and needed Henry Blanc's attention. 

Once Lin Lihua was back, she would speak to her about it.

Henry Blanc's fury was almost blowing the prison premises. 

He had been allowed to visit his sister at this time. 

The woman sat before him, looking like a scared kitten. His gaze that was full of anger was frightening. Who in their right mind would not be scared? 

"Brother, did I do something wrong? You look like you could kill me right now." Amy Blanc's voice was so tiny that the last words were inaudible.

"Amy, why did you not tell me that you are pregnant? Do you know that the implication of hiding such an important matter could make you lose the baby?" 

Amy Blanc was flabbergasted. "Pregnant? Brother, are you alright?" 

"You don't have to hide it anymore. I actually don't mind who the father is. All that matters right now is that this child is my nephew or niece. However, you must never hide anything from me. Or else, how will I be able to protect you?" 

He was not angry because she was pregnant by Yun Jifeng, but because she hid it and could have hurt the baby if not careful enough.

Amy's expression was blanc. "That's impossible." 

Although it was awkward, she had to say it so her brother could believe her. "I had my period a week ago. Most importantly, Arnold and I never actually... did that."
