Chapter 491 - Would his tongue fall off if he told her?

Lu Aotian's gaze was fixed on Lin Lihua. She really didn't know? Or was she just in denial? 

"Since you don't know, I am under no obligation to tell you. I'm leaving now, I am going to the office." 

Lin Lihua remained in her seat with her head aching. Why did Lu Aotian have to be so mysterious? Would his tongue fall off if he simply told her? What a strange and terribly mean man.

Wan Jia did not understand his logic either. However, for the most part, it was none of her business so she let it pass. She would help her sister out if Lin Lihua needed it but aside from that, she would not bother her anymore. 

"Little Wan, I need to go somewhere right now." Lin Lihua said. She would investigate the matter on her own. From Lu Aotian's words, she had caught a very important hint. 

If she had been expected to know everything in this matter, it would only mean that someone else was working with Mrs. Blanc, and it had to be someone close to her. 

She was going to investigate everyone close to her. 

Wan Jia knew that Lin Lihua meant to take her daughter and niece home first. "Leave them to me. My assistant brought all the work I need to do today. I can still spare time to take care of them." 

"Thank you Little Wan."

No one would have thought that a short while after Lin Lihua left, someone came to Villa number four. 

The man was accompanied by a group of bodyguards who looked highly skilled. 

"We are here under the orders of Mr. Blanc to pick up our little young miss." 

Wan Jia was flabbergasted. Who were these men trying to intimidate by coming in such a crowd? "Sorry. Who did you say you were and what are you here for?" The main point was, who let them in? 

The man who seemed to be the superior greeted Wan Jia politely before repeating his statement. "Mr. Blanc sent us to take our little young miss, Katy Blanc, home." 

If that was the case, why did they go in such a large number? Why did they look ready for a fight? She had heard about the disagreement between Lin Lihua and Mrs. Blanc. Besides, since when did Mr. Blanc talk? Didn't they say that he had been silent since Amy Blanc was arrested?  

And, despite the friendship between the two families, they came as though they were ready for war, when they could have simply given them a call?

Also, was it really coincidental that they came as soon as Lin Lihua left? 

"Sorry, but I will only let Katy go if my brother-in-law says so." 

The man did not look intimidated by her look. "Mrs. Lu, if you do not let us take our little young miss back, we might have to resort to using forceful measures." 

Wan Jia was not intimidated by their tone either. "It seems like you were all ready for war when you came here." 

By the time she was done speaking, she had already summoned Small Xing. 

When the men saw that she had called a bodyguard and a very small one at that, their leader scoffed. She wanted to stop them with the help of that pretty little boy? 

Wan Jia gave a last warning. "You should know just where you guys are. Leave right now or I will resort to violence." 

Actually, these men were not particularly strong. If she were not pregnant, she would have beaten them up single handedly. They were only in good luck because she cokld not do any vigorous exercises. 

From their footwork, she had realized that these were definitely not the men that had been hired by Henry Blanc for the Blanc family. 

Those hired by him were almost on par with the Lu family's bodyguards in terms of strength and capability. One could tell it from their bodies. While these guys... they looked like mercenaries simply sent to complete this mission. 

A thought crossed her mind, sending shivers down her body. 

Was Mrs. Blanc trying to kidnap Katy? Or... even murder her? For what reason, to frame Lin Lihua?

That woman was the epitome of wickedness. 

Although this was Lin Lihua's battle, she still had to help her sister fight it. Mrs. Blanc was messing with people from the Lin family. 

"I don't intend to start fighting unnecessarily. How about I let you bring Katy back home? I will tag along. After all, my daugher likes Katy very much and will want to spend a little more time with her." 

The leader was overjoyed at first but he frowned at the mention of the second part. 

Who was he kidding? This was the Lu family. How could they even have the courage to think of starting a fight? He had only said that to intimidate Wan Jia because according to him, Wan Jia knew that the Blanc family's forces could be almost as great as the Lu family's. She would not want to fight. 

However, what was that second part all about? 

"Mrs. Lu, we cannot be so audacious as to bother you this much. We will take care of the little young miss ourselves." 

Wan Jia flashed a bright smile. "Oh, it's nothing. If you think going together is bothersome, how about you let me continue taking care of her? After all, you just tresspassed the Lu family's property." 

The leader facepalmed. How were those two related?

Wait, they did what?! 

Where exactly were they standing? 

Now that Wan Jia mentioned it, they were indeed in Lu Aotian's villa. 

However, no one denied them entry or even asked them a thing about it.  How was this tresspassing?
