Wan Jia made Little Jia sit and passed the small bundle into her arms, supporting her a little so she wouldn't be too heavy.

"Yes, just treat her. I'll handle the rest." 

"Okay." 

Lu Aotian left the baby in Wan Jia's and the nurse's care and called Little Jia aside. 

"Princess, you heard what the nurse said, right?" 

"Uh huh." 

"I'm an adult, so I can take medicine and use cream to prevent and treat allergic reactions. But Xianli is just a baby. She cannot do either of that." 

Little Jia took a lock of her hair between her fingers. She was fighing the moisture building up in her eyes. "Daddy, what are you saying?" 

Lu Aotian's heart ached. He had no choice either. "I know you love your little Brownie very much. However, as long as it stays around, the fur will get to your sister in one way or another." 

He crouched and hugged her. "Princess, can you give it up for adoption?" 

Little Jia's tears finally fell. That was the first pet she had ever had, as well as the gift she loved the most. Her aunty Lihua had given it to her and she had taken good care of it. She loved it very much. She really had to? 

She hugged her father's neck, hoping he would change his mind. 

When he didn't, she finally gave up. "Then can I give it to Sis Ruoxi? She likes it very much and will take care of it. Once in a while I'll go over to Uncle Henry's house and play with it. Is that... is that alright?"
