Chapter 525 - Are you jealous already?

Xu Tang watched on, while everyone else was now able to watch freely since Lu Aotian had left. Of course, Lu Meili had not noticed her father's presence. She wouldn't act so boldly if she had. 

Under Xu Tang's ferocious stare, Lu Meili held the box of chocolates and made to open it. 

In the next second, the box disappeared from her hand and appeared in Xu Tang's. 

He took her hand and pulled her away, leaving the kneeling man dumbfounded. "Lu Meili, are you crazy?" 

"You are the crazy one! Why did you pull me?" Lu Meili snapped at him. 

"You are accepting chocolates from a stranger and you even want to eat it?" With that, he threw the box of chocolates right into the trashcan at the side. 

"Hey... my chocolates..." her expression changed in a second, and she looked so pitiful that she looked like a child who had been denied chocolate. Well, she had been denied chocolate to begin with. 

Xu Tang took out a card and stuffed it into her hands. "Go buy yourself chocolates. You can buy a whole room of them if you like; you already know the pin." Lu Meili knew everything about him, and that included the pins of his bank cards and the passcode to the safe where he kept the most important things. 

However, the little woman looked at his card and frowned, then tossed it to the floor. 

Xu Tang laughed. "Little angel Li, what's wrong?" 

"This is not your card." She said, her eyes accusing him of lying to her. 

Xu Tang giggled. "Have you taken a good look at it? It's mine. And I'm giving it to you so you can buy chocolate."

She was acting a bit strange, so he could only be patient and explain to her. 

However, the 'little angel' was no longer listening. She swung her fist at him. If he didn't hold her hand in time, he would lose his eye. "Xu Tang! What do you take me for? Are you trying to buy me off with some lousy money?" 

Xu Tang pinned both of her hands at her sides. It was just lucky that they were at a spot with few people and no one was looking at them. "Lu Meili, what the heck has gotten into your head? Are you drunk?" 

She looked at him blankly with her beautiful eyes, her innocent gaze answering him. She was really drunk. No wonder she was doing crazy things. 

"I'll take you home, okay?" He said to her and took her hand carefully. This woman was too skilled in fighting. Earlier he was able to grab her hand before it reached his face simply because it was weak. But if this woman decided to beat him up in her drunken stupor... he wouldn't only become blind. 

While thinking about this, he found it too shameful to say but he had to admit that a small, adorable woman was fiercer than him. 

Not to mention, she was Lu Aotian's daughter as well. If she did anything wrong and displeased that man, he couldn't guarantee that he would keep his life.

After taming the drunk beauty, Xu Tang brought her out of the building. 

The first thing he saw was Lu Aotian leaning on his car and speaking to someone on phone. As soon as he saw the duo, he narrowed his gaze and directed it at Xu Tang ferociously. 

Xu Tang felt chills all over his body and really wanted to let go of Lu Meili. Was Lu Aotian angry with him because he was holding Lu Meili's arm? But the girl was drunk. She would do crazy things if let off. 

"She's drunk." He said softly. 

The man didn't spare him a word and simply looked at his daughter who didn't look drunk at all but acted the part. 

As soon as Lu Meili saw her father, she rushed to him. "Daddy, Tangtang is being rude. How can he simply..." 

"Shut up. Get into the car." Lu Aotian cut her short. They were at a Lu Enterprises banquet. How could she drink a lot of wine? Had she not been to a banquet before? It was so stupid of her to drink beyond her alcohol limit. 

Dealing with a drunk daughter... why did it feel so awkward? 

The girl was disheartened by her father's heartless reply. She looked at Xu Tang sadly and entered the car silently. 

Lu Aotian went into the driver's seat. His little princess was now a grown up woman... it was hard to believe.
