Liza quickly fell asleep



After that, Liza smiled and quickly fell asleep.

Perhaps she had been very tired.

I smiled, and Leo also sighed with relief.

As Leo and I would not have been able to do much on our own, I thanked them again, for helping us this late in the night.

Of course, I was also thankful towards Sebastian and Claire.

“We will go now. I am sure that everything will be fine. But just in case... I will wait outside. So please call me if you need anything.”

“Thank you. But...surely you will be tired if you wait...”

“No, we are supposed to take care of you. So it is nothing.”

Leo actually sounded impatient, and she was already lying down and wagging her tail.

She did like sleeping with people. We had done it often when she was smaller.

They then sat down and leaned against her, and Leo curled up as if to wrap around them gently.
