That’s not to say I didn’t force many people into slavery, but that was usually done at their request. They gave up their freedom in exchange for the power it gave them. For some, it was done with a desire to be closer and more intimate, while for others it was done to be given a chance at being saved. As for this girl here, it was hard to say. I brought out a few more candy bars and continued to try to get some more information out of her.

We only went to the back of the boss’ room, where another door opened into a small closet space. Looking at the sheets on the ground, I realized that this small room was her bedroom. She slept in here while her zombies stood ever vigilant outside. There was even a stuffed animal, but it was so old and decayed it was impossible to tell what it once was.
As I was surveying the filthy room, she pointed up. I raised my eyes and was surprised by what I saw.
“It’s a mural.” Alysia declared.
