Chapter 3 Insult Or Spank?

Name:My Evil System Author:
Eh? System, what's with this plus sign?

<Additional points from the Evil System>

Is it only applied to me?

<Yes>

<Host can also level up his class once specific attributes are met and bonus attributes points increased as well.>

<Furthermore, Host can gain certain skills and spells as he levels his attributes.>

That made me feel better.

<This also applies to all that don't have the system.>

". . ."

So the only advantage of having a system was the additional attribute points, huh?

<There is a lot of advantage. Do you want me to enumerate the list?>

<YES>

<NO>

I don't feel like I want to know.

I focused my attention on the things on my screen.

There was a 1,000 EXP, 100 gil, and a Nordland map from the gift box icon. I pressed it, and those EXP poured into my EXP icon while the gold coins filled my money icon. There were also the Evil Points in the center of the EXP and money icon.

How do I allocate this EXP to my attribute?

<Go to Attribute and press the attribute you want to increase. It will automatically convert your EXP for you.>

I tried what the system said and made mental calculations as my EXP decreased while my attributes increased.

Based on my calculations, HP and MP could have an additional +5 for 100 EXP while the rest would increase +1 in exchange for 100 EXP.

Sounds like it would take a lot of EXP to level up attributes.

<One of the advantages of the system is offering more EXP for simple quest~>

Really? I'll check it out later then.

First, I allocated all my EXP points to LCK since that seemed to be the lowest out of my attributes.

I'd like to keep everything balanced.

I nodded my head. *Umu

I had a basic understanding of these attributes since some of my co-workers let me play these RPG games from their consoles and phones. But it wouldn't hurt to ask for an explanation in case I was wrong.

<HP is the number of your hit points. Host must not let this fall below one, or you will die. HP can be recovered thru spells and items or by resting and sleeping, or consuming food.>

<MP is mana point's required to cast a spell and skill. Likewise, it can be recovered thru spells and items or by resting and sleeping or consuming food.>

<STR is the amount of physical damage Host can inflict. The greater your strength, the greater the physical damage.>

<DEF is the amount of physical attack Hosts can repel. The higher the number, the higher the physical defense.>

<MDF it's the amount of magic damage Host can repel. The higher the number, the higher the defense against magic damage.

<INT the amount of magic damage Host can inflict. The higher the number, the higher the magic damage.>

<AGL is Host movement speed. The higher the number, the faster your speed during combat.

<LCK. The amount and quality of drops depended on Luck. The higher the number, the rarer and greater the drops from defeated beasts, monsters, and bosses. Status Effects and precision sometimes depends on LCK as well.>

<Also, specific weapons, armors, and accessories required a certain number of attributes and particular classes before equipping. Likewise, a certain number of attributes are required before entering a dungeon or before triggering an event or quest.>

". . ." I soaked all the information in. In short. I just had to level my attributes. The higher, the better.

< . . . Yes -_- >

After that was done, I pressed the other button.

‖ S K I L L S & S P E L L S ‖

Evil Wisdom LV.1

- 10% chance of copying any spells or skills

- Can be performed 2x a day

- –100 MP

Evil Minions LV.1

- 10% chance of converting beasts/monsters to be your pet

- Can be performed 3x a day

- –50 MP

‖ E N D ‖

Why was everything evil? And what with the ridiculous low percentage and high casting cost?

<They are unique skills and spells only available to Host. Raising the level of your spells and skills depends on the amount of casting you make.>

With my amount of mana, I could probably just cast it one to two times a day!

<Yes~>

". . ."

It was not only the ominous names, but the skills and spells were literally evil themselves. How many times would I perform it to reach LV.2? And how many days? Or months?

<Host can always buy Mana Potion or rest to replenish your MP>

I shook my head and opted for another button.

‖ L I F E S K I L L S ‖

Cooking: Beginner

Fishing: Beginner

Foraging: Beginner

‖ E N D ‖

What's this?

<Unlike skills and spells that had the maximum LV.10, Life skills have the category of Beginner, Intermediate, Master, and Grandmaster>

<The life skill category determined whether your cooking will be a success or pig's food>

<Dictates the quality and rarity of the fish you catch when you fish.>

<And dictates the amount of materials you gather when you're foraging>

I see . . . wait.

Do I need this thing?

<Sooner or later, you will. Also, there are many hidden skills and spells. Do your best to acquire them all, and you'll be one step to becoming an Evil Overlord, the greatest Villain there is!>

. . . No, thank you.

I pressed the last button that I saved for later. I was actually hesitating whether to push it or not but decided to press it anyway.

‖ E V I L S Y S T E M

S I D E Q U E S T ‖

❶ Insult Someone

Rewards:

+100 EXP

❷ Spank a girl's butt

Rewards:

+1000 EXP

‖ E N D ‖

". . ."

System . . .

<Yes Host?>

Tell me how I can remove you.

<Error>

Then at least give me a different side quest!

<Host has free will to choose not to do the side quest. But I advise that you do for the enormous EXP points.>

This is ridiculous! Why would I insult someone or spank a girl's butt?! That would get me in trouble!

<The path of trouble you must walk to become the Evil Overload, the greatest Villain there is!>

Like I said, I don't want to! I wanted to jump from my skin. If I could scream at it, I would, but it would only attract unwanted attention.

This was certainly not funny. Whoever gave me this system, I hope he dies!

<+100 Evil Points rewarded to Host for cursing someone for the first time>

<Cursing someone is the right path to evilness. Embrace your inner evilness, and you are one step closer to becoming the Evil Overload, the greatest Villain there is!>

. . . I gritted my teeth.

I was usually a calm guy, and not every day or week would you find me angry. But right now, my blood vessels were about to burst at how annoyed I was.

. . . Wait . . .

"That guy's face looked like it was molded by a child," I whispered under my breath, making sure that I was the only one who heard it.

<+100 EXP points rewarded to Host for completing the side quest, INSULT SOMEONE>

Yes! It worked! I could actually cheat the system!

<+1,000 Evil points rewarded to Host for cheating the system for the first time>

 <Keep it up. Cheating is the only fair thing in the path of becoming an Evil Overlord, the greatest Villain there is!>

<I couldn't wait to see what kind of Villain Host will become. I'm rooting for you *wink>

". . ."

I wanted to cry.
