Chapter 230 My New Minion God . . .

Name:My Evil System Author:

With each passing moment, the pentagram's grip weakened further until, finally, it shattered with a resounding explosion of energy. A wave of force rippled outward, dispersing the remnants of the pentagram and freeing the chamber from its malevolent presence.

Faz stood at the epicenter, her eyes wide, but her face remained emotionless. The chains that once bound her fell to the ground, clattering in a cascade of liberated metal.

She looked at me, a mixture of disbelief and amazement.

". . . It worked," I breathed, a surge of elation coursing through me. Dementia's words had held true, and our gamble had paid off.

As Faz stood there, her eyes filled with a mixture of disbelief and cautious hope, I approached her with a small, dark stone in my hand. I revealed the shimmering, sinister accessory within — the [Evil Accessory of Doom]. Its dark allure seemed to draw the very essence of the room closer as if acknowledging its own malevolent power.

"Faz," I spoke softly, my voice tinged with a mix of urgency before she changed her mind. "This is the [Evil Accessory of Doom]. It is an item of great significance in our pact. By wearing it, you bind yourself to our agreement, ensuring your loyalty and commitment to me."

Faz's gaze shifted from the stone to me, her expression a blend of curiosity and caution. Her numerous black eyes flickered with a hint of hesitation as if grappling with the weight of the decision she was about to make.

"But remember," I continued, my voice firm and unwavering, "once you wear this choker, you cannot betray me or even entertain the thought of it. It holds immense power, both as a symbol and as a binding enchantment. You will be bound to me, and any attempt to break our agreement will have dire consequences."

Faz's brows furrowed, her features reflecting the inner turmoil she experienced. She understood the gravity of my words, the importance of trust and unwavering loyalty in our pact. Slowly, she extended her hand, palm facing upward, ready to receive the choker.

"I . . . understand," Faz responded. "If wearing this [Evil Accessory of Doom] is the price I must pay for my freedom, then I will honor our agreement. I swear to remain true to our contract, to fulfill my obligations, and to never betray you."

The stone turned to a black choker over Faz's neck; it settled with an almost audible click as if sealing our pact with an irrevocable bond. The dark accessory embraced her, its presence a constant reminder of the promises made and the consequences that awaited any act of betrayal.

Faz touched the choker, her fingers tracing its intricate design; her face returned to a mask, never giving anything. "I accept this burden," she murmured, her voice steady and resolute. "Though it may be a reminder of my servitude, it also represents the opportunity for freedom and a chance to forge a new path."

<CONGRATULATIONS on acquiring a Minion GOD!>

Like the previous drill, I had retained Faz's name like Little Piggy and Yuko.

Now I had three Gods with me.

<Three Gods that probably wouldn't follow Host's orders>

I ignored it.

Though looking at Faz's stat, it was lower than Little Piggy and Yuko, but her spells were one of the best.

Her skills lie in stealing and giving life energy it seemed.

Faz possessed a spell that held immense power and utility — her ultimate spell, [Life Drain]. This formidable ability had the potential to alter the course of battles, sapping life force from those unfortunate enough to be within a one-kilometer radius of her.

[Within the spell's range, the life force of every living being became vulnerable to Faz's insatiable thirst for vitality. As the spell took effect, an unseen force emanated from Faz, reaching out to drain the essence of life from her unfortunate victims.

In the grip of [Life Drain], individuals within the affected radius would experience a profound weakening of their life force. Their vitality would wane, leaving them fatigued and debilitated as if their very essence was being drawn away.

But [Life Drain] didn't stop at merely sapping the life force of those caught within its grasp. Faz's mastery over this spell allowed her to absorb the stolen energy, channeling it towards her allies. With a twist of her will, she could transform the drained life force into a healing balm, mending the wounds and rejuvenating the vigor of her allies in a wide area surrounding her.]

But [Life Drain] was not without its flaws. Besides its MAX level, it only lasted one minute and could only be used two times a day.

The spell area was wide, though, and it would definitely be useful for the war to come.

<Host's enemies wouldn't know what hit them!>

I laughed inwardly.

Her powers were the reason why the elven couple entrapped her in the first place.

"Who are you?!"

As Faz and I stood, empowered by our newfound alliance, the air suddenly grew tense and charged with an aura of hostility.

Ravos and Serenia emerged from the shadows, their expressions twisted with anger and anxiety.

They must have been alerted when the pentagram disappeared.

Good. It was proceeding all according to plan. I thought.

Serenia's voice cut through the silence, filled with a potent mix of accusation and fury. "You! What have you done? Who are you? How did you get here?"

Serenia's piercing voice echoed through the chamber, her accusatory tone slicing through the silence. Faz's expression hardened, her memories flooding back, fueling a fire of vengeance within her. However, I swiftly stepped forward, placing a hand on Faz's arm, urging her to restrain herself.

Sensing the tension in the air, I met Serenia's gaze with unwavering determination. "Who I am is inconsequential. What matters is that I am here to put an end to your reign of cruelty and to free Faz from her unjust imprisonment."

Whatever I needed to say and bluff my way out of here.

I need the couple alive than dead and I have their weakness with a choker on her neck.
