There is almost no way that Claude can kill a veteran 6th fusion rank mage. He can only try to take some advantage by attacking first

The ground itself was liquified. The trees were burned and lines of crimson lava littered the mountain

General Leon was using a lion-type gem in the same way that Florine uses her spirit-type gem to boost the power of her main element

He did not walk the path of an enslaver but instead uses the power of the lions to increase his personal power

As such, every single attack of Leon is way stronger than normal spells at the 6th fusion grade

Claude’s tornadoes don’t stand a chance at all and they soon vanished without being able to do anything

The magic beasts that weren’t burned to death already fled in fear

Claude created another magic circle below Leon but before it can even do anything, it was already punched into oblivion by the latter

That causes Claude’s countenance to turn grim. If it was a ‘normal’ 6th fusion rank mage, Claude even has a chance of winning but it was another matter if the enemy is a veteran mage!

Leon’s figure seems to blur and Claude raised his head to see his enemy’s blazing feet
