For Rezen to use the potion he just got it is required for a seed to absorb the potion's properties. However, the seed couldn't just be any ordinary seed. He has to use the seeds that came from the plants that grew on his farm
These seeds grew from his farm and with their connection to the farm, these seeds could absorb the potion though it is limited
Until now, Rezen's farm could only grow Spirit Plants up to the 3rd cycle. The quality of his farm crops is limited to that as such, the fruits of the seed that absorbed the potion would also have diluted effects. It was simply perfect for Rezen since he cannot completely consume the potion in one go, it must be diluted so that his soul and body can safely absorb the potion's properties
eaglesnovɐ1,сoМ Deciding not to waste any time, Rezen went to pick one of the seeds of normal plants that he use as his food
He could use Spirit Plants but those plants also have various effects and Rezen feared that their properties might clash with the potion's properties. It was better to be safe than sorry after all
However, before Rezen could use the seed, Ivy flew in front of him to stop him
"Master, based on my database, it is better to use the seed of the Suppla Grape" Ivy suggested and Rezen raised his brows
The Suppla Grape is a Spirit Plant and is a supplementary potion ingredient. It has the effect of increasing the potency of other ingredients
"Would the Suppla Grape enhance the potion's effects?" Rezen asked and Ivy gave him an affirmative answer
Since that is the case then Rezen didn't hesitate to use the seed of a Spirit Plant instead. He waved his wand and the box containing the potion opened itself and the potion inside flew in front of Rezen
With another wave of Rezen's wand, the seed of a Suppla Grapes also flew towards him and he controlled the seed. He had the seed enter the bottle to soak it and let it absorb the potion's properties
However, it didn't take that long before Ivy informed Rezen that the seed is already 'full' and cannot absorb the properties of the potion anymore
It seems like Rezen has to constantly soak seeds into the potion as the qualities of the seeds he has now are far from enough to fully consume the potion
After taking out the seed, Rezen returned the potion to the box and he immediately dug a hole in the soil to plant the grape seed
After placing the seed into the hole, Rezen covered it with soil, and with a little bit of water magic he watered it though it wasn't really necessary to do so
Since this crop was more special compared to other crops, Ivy informed Rezen that it would take 72 hours before he could harvest the fruits. Since it would take a long time, Rezen soaked more seeds into the potion and planted them too
——-
3 days later
For three days, Rezen was impatient for the growth of the Suppla Grapes and after three whole days, he could finally harvest it
Rezen or more like his soul stood in front of a row of grapevines where a purplish bunch of grapes was ready to be plucked and harvested
Since this is the first time that Rezen would consume the Suppla Grape that has their seeds soaked into the potion he only harvested a bunch
In the physical world, a grape bunch came out from Rezen's stomach and landed on his hand
"Huh? Huh? Master, what are those grapes? Can I have some? I want to eat!" Rezen's guard which was the black snake Belazark stared at the grape bunch with eyes glowing with greed. As a result, he fired a magic missile that hits the snake directly on its forehead
"Don't dare covet my grapes if you don't want me to roast you" Rezen said mercilessly. These grapes are his tickets to a stronger talent and he would not share them with anyone though this scenario made him aware of something
He should not consume the grapes publicly! Seeing how Belazark acted magic beasts or even humans might instinctively be attracted to the grapes because of their great effects
"Stingy!" Belazark hissed but its eyes still holds greed for the grapes and Rezen fired another magic missile at it
Deciding to ignore the snake, Rezen pluck one grape from the bunch and ate it. At the same time, he sensed the energy of the grape exploding inside his stomach and it filled his body and also infiltrated his soul
This energy was not harmful in the least. In fact, it was beneficial. Even just a single grape alone already improved Rezen's talent much more than any other Spirit Plants that he consumed
In ecstasy, Rezen ate all the grapes in the bunch before he felt that he was full. The reason why he has to dilute the potion's effect was because his body cannot handle the energy it contains in one go. The same was true even though the potion's properties were diluted. Rezen has to wait until the sense of fullness vanished before he could eat grapes again
"Hmm?" Now that Rezen's focus was not on the grapes anymore, his eyes stared at the seeds he got from them
He can recognize the seeds as the seeds of the Suppla Grape but at the same time he felt that it was better
Since the seed of the grapevine was soaked with the potion and the fruits are not your normal Suppla Grapes, did the seeds also change?
"Ivy, are these seeds still normal Suppla Grapes seeds?" Rezen asked and his faithful fairy answered him
"They are not, Master. The seeds also carried the properties of the Supple Grape seeds that are soaked into the potion albeit the effects were further diluted"
This discovery was a surprise to Rezen he simply plant Spirit Plants, consume them, and plant them again using the seeds that he got. He didn't expect that he could mutate the seeds in this way
"Ivy, what would happen if example I soak a normal grape seed into a mana recovery potion? Would the fruits still be normal grapes?" Rezen asked another question but this time Ivy didn't give him a direct answer
"That is for Master to find out"
As Ivy was a great help to Rezen he realized that he forgot this fairy's words in the past. While Ivy would help him grow it would not or more like could not spoonfeed him everything
There are still things that he should do and discover on his own. It seems like this is one of the things that he must discover on his own
If his theory was correct then Rezen found another way to utilize the farm's abilities for his benefit
"Belazark, wait for a few days, I'll give you some of these grapes" Rezen said generously
The fruits of the seeds that are soaked directly in the potion would be for Rezen's personal consumption. As for the seeds of the grapes that grew on those seeds, Rezen would replant them and have the fruits be given to Belazark
This snake was the first subordinate that Rezen got in this realm. Naturally, he wants to make this snake stronger and the grapes would definitely help with that
"Huh? Master, as I thought, you are really evil. You hurt me with your magic and especially with your words because I want to eat your grapes but now you suddenly changed your mind. I knew it, you just want to bully this poor snake! Master, you should change your personality, it might get you into trouble one day!"
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, Master should be like me. Look at me, I am a very kindhearted snake. No matter how badly you treated this poor snake I am still worrying about you. Master should treat this snake better so that Master would not die from bad karma!"
Once more, the snake rattled its mouth nonstop while putting Rezen in a negative light and putting itself on the pedestal
This snake's mouth was really shameless. It's not Rezen's fault okay? He is afraid that if he gave even one grape his talent would fall short and would not be enough to reach the Great Mage Rank. It was not his fault that he belatedly learned that he could replant the seeds and the fruits would have the same effects albeit weaker than the original
In anger, Rezen fired consecutive magic missiles at the snake that doesn't know when to shut its mouth
"Ah! Ah! M-master, I-I was wrong! S-stop! Y-you will kill this poor handsome s-snake! Ahh! That hurts! That hurts! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die!"
The snake once more showed how dramatic it could be as if Rezen was not shooting magic missiles with little to no lethality aside from being a bit painful
