According to historical records of Arcane Days, every five hundred years the world of Elaris is invaded by the king of the Nether and his ten archdemons who are known by the people of Elaris as demon Kings.
They pillaged, stole, killed, and destroyed everything in their path until they got what they wanted, which was domination over the world of Elaris.
And every five hundred years, not wanting their precious world to be destroyed, the Gods and Goddesses of Elaris would bestow a fraction of their power to five individuals; they were chosen based on criteria known only to the Gods. They were known as children of the Gods.
Wielding the power of Gods, these individuals would rise and defend the people of Elaris from the forces of the Nether, killing the ten archdemons and sealing the King of the Nether. For five thousand years these individuals seldom never failed
Now, Elias found himself in the lair of one of the demon kings, courtesy of the free will system and he wasn't transported to just any demon king's lair, it was the demon king of Wrath, the most unpredictable and arguably the most difficult of all ten archdemons to deal with.
The throne room of Ira, the Demon King of Wrath, exuded an oppressive heat as if the air itself seethed with anger. The walls, made of black obsidian, shimmered with an inner fire, reflecting the flickering flames of the torches that lined the grand hall. At the far end, upon a raised dais, sat Ira, the embodiment of wrath.
Her throne was forged from twisted iron, adorned with spikes, and draped in crimson banners that seemed to ripple with a life of their own.
Ira herself was a fearsome sight; her fiery red hair cascaded down her back like a river of molten lava, and her eyes burned with an unquenchable fury, glowing like embers in the dim light.
Normally, whenever Ira appeared, she was always clad in her armor, made from unknown materials found only in the Nether, dark and jagged, it always appeared to pulse with a fiery energy, each piece crafted to instill fear and command respect.
But this time Ira was clothed in a loose-fitting garment that did a good job of showcasing her fit, yet voluptuous figure. She lounged on her throne, draped in a luxurious gown of deep burgundy silk that flowed like liquid fire over her form. The gown was simple yet elegant, adorned with subtle gold embroidery.
In her relaxed attire, Ira's fit and voluptuous figure was more evident beneath the flowing burgundy gown. The silk fabric clung to her form, accentuating the curves of her body with every movement.
Her strong, sculpted shoulders were partially exposed by the gown's off-the-shoulder design. The gown's bodice hugged her ample bosom, highlighting her full, generous curves while tapering at her narrow waist. The fabric skimmed over her hips, accentuating their shapely contours before cascading to the floor in gentle waves.
Her toned legs, visible through a subtle slit in the gown, even in a relaxed state, she was still considered her agility.
'Damn it! I really got transported to Ira's lair. This isn't good
Elias looked at the task menu looming in front of his face
[Task: Defeat the Demon King of Wrath: Ira
Reward: 1,000,000 fwp
Failure: Wrath of Ira will be brought upon you
Time limit: 2:57:14
Goodluck!]
Elias' eyes widened in shock, "There's a time limit now?! Well, there's no point in wasting time that I don't have.
"I'm giving you one last chance, which is something I don't give out much, just because I am genuinely curious. Who are you, and how did you get here? Answer me with utmost speed"
"Damn it! There's no way out of this, but even though it's a suicide mission, I have to fight!
But I need a weapon, to at leadt improve my chances.
If I remember correctly, the system had a store where I can purchase things with fwp. Hopefully there's a weapon for sale"
"[Store]"
Immediately a menu popped up before Elias, revealing the store provided by the system.
Elias was surprised by the items availabe in the store, some of them he recognised becausethey were items from Arcane Days but the rest were unknown to him.
Nevertheless, it was a treasure trove but most of the items displayed were either locked or had a specific requirement needed to unlock them for purchase.
Boom!
A destructive force whizzed past Elias, decimating everything in its path, Ira's patience had run out "Since you won't talk, why don't you die?
Maybe then, the person who sent you here would come to pick up your corpse" Ira said with an outstretched arm, she hadn't moved from her throne
'She thinks I was sent here by someone? Well technically she is right considering that the system did send me here'
Elis quickly browsed through the store as he took cover behind a pillar, he browsed as fast as possible for a suitable available weapon.
"Yes!" He exclaimed
He finally found a steel sword that cost 100 fwp. He was about to confirm his purchase when another item caught his attention.
Suddenly an idea sparked in his head as he saw the item, "...this could work if I play my cards right" he stopped his confirmation and closed the store,
He came out of his hiding spot and took a few steps forward then got down on one knee and he put on his most sincere face "Will you marry me o beautiful Ira?" Elias asked, staring wide-eyed at the Demon king of wrath.
"What?! What is the meaning of this foolery?" Ira demanded as she adjusted herself on her seat. The puzzled expression on her face, clearly showed that she was taken aback by Elias' action
"I want you to be my wife, Ira" he declared boldly
[+300 fwp]
A smile cracked into place as Elias saw the system's notification.
