Chapter 112: The truth

Qinghe was holding Yun Jhin's hand very tightly as they ran under his stealth technique, she could feel that something strange was going on and realized it was because she was practically invisible.

They ran through the full streets of the capital and no one could even see them! She was rather impressed by her beloved technique, she had a big smile on her face during the whole ordeal as they ran away from the capital, but her mother's scream could be heard even after they ran away 50 kilometers.

Qinghe was rather scared when she heard it but Yun Jhin put a hand on her shoulder and comforted her with some words that she needed to hear right now:

"It's ok, she can't find us, and even if she ever will I will make sure that you won't get back there!"

Qinghe's tears started to slowly drip from her eyes as she heard his words, these were the words she wanted to hear from her beloved and he didn't disappoint, he was the man that she ever envisioned in her dreams, the man that would protect her. Being born in a matriarchal society took a toll on Qinghe's mind, even though she was supposed to be loved and protected only the reverse happened to her, with all of the bad things she heard about men, and as she compared the way she was treated by her fellow women, she felt that men were more trustworthy!

As they were always nice to her and they always told her what she wanted to hear, but not all of them were sincere, her last man which was also her first was one of the few sincere ones that she took in, but his end made her extremely sad and almost depressed, only after Yun Jhin came along she became happier, but then her mother made a move and this almost crushed her soul.

But now that Yun Jhin saved her and took her away from her mother, she became as happy as she could be.

After a while, they finally couldn't see the capital walls anymore and they reached an uninhabited forest where they decided to take a rest.

Qinghe was rather attached to Yun Jhin as she rested her head on his shoulder while he slowly meditated to recover his ki, it wouldn't take him much time to recover it, however, the consumption of the stealth technique was quite big considering he was using the advanced form to make sure the sage realm experts wouldn't be able to locate him, so that meant he still had to rest from time to time.

Qinghe eyed his resting form for a bit as she giggled under her breath, she truly felt quite happy running away with him.

Seeing that they were alone and free for now Qinghe moved a little bit closer and gave him a peck on the cheek as she said:

"Thanks for everything you are doing Zhao Yun."

Yun Jhin shook his head and said:

"My name is not Zhao Yun, please call me by my real name."

Qinghe cocked her head to the side and asked:

"Your real name?"

Yun Jhin nodded and told her his real name:

"My name is Yun Jhin and you see I'm not actually from the phoenix race."

His disguise unveiled in front of her as he returned to his ying-yang look, Qinghe gasped as she moved a few feet back from him, she was both puzzled and scared at what happened, Yun Jhin shook his head seeing her reaction before he quickly embraced her and said:

"It's ok, I'm still the same person, you see I have run away from the azure dragon planet as it was currently in a civil war and I have landed on this planet, I wasn't sure what to do at first so I hid."

"At first I have tried to hid in plain sight as I saw that males were treated differently on this planet so I guessed hiding in the strongest sect in the city was a good way to not attract attention by being plain."

"However, you found me quite fast and took me in as your man, I haven't had many interactions with many females before and you could be said to have been rather unique even amongst those that I interacted with."

He coughed a bit after he said those words, he felt rather awkward to call her 'unique'.

"My feelings for you are still true, regardless of race and how males are saw on your planet."

He kneeled in front of her as he took her fair hand into his and landed a gentle kiss on it, Qinghe started to blush like mad, even though his former looks were handsome, this part of Yun Jhin was both handsome and unique looking, his ying-yang looks gave him an exotic look that Qinghe found rather attractive.

Seeing how he easily calmed her, Yun Jhin smiled inside before he continued:

"I'm sorry to have frightened you with my sudden reveal, after all, I didn't know how to break it to you that I'm not from the phoenix race, if you don't like me anymore because of that I should help you get to a safe location before I shall excuse myself."

He gave her a small bow to show how sorry he was, this made Qinghe quickly grab him by the arm and hold him as she said with trembling eyes:

"Don't say that! I don't care about your race and why you have escaped from the azure dragon planet, I know who you are, I heard my big sister talk about an intruder but I couldn't care more about that, I love you because of who you are! A nice person who sees through the outer appearance of someone and loves them for who they are under their skin!"

What Qinghe said wasn't wrong, but Yun Jhin had more than one meaning for what she said.

Seeing that she was still so in love with him made Yun Jhin cut the thought of getting rid of her, her current looks would be rather useful for his plan.

He motioned for her to jump on his back as his ki returned to full capacity, Qinghe jumped on his broad back and felt his muscles, he blushed a bit, she was still like a schoolgirl that found her first love even though they already had intercourse for more than a few times.

Afterward, Yun Jhin used his stealth technique and started to run at high speeds leaving the forest behind them, now that he placated her Yun Jhin needed a plan on how to use her to lure some males to him, he needed to absorb them and the amount he required wasn't that small.

He looked to the front as he asked Qinghe who was embracing his back:

"Do you know any remote villages that we could run to? Considering your mother she might know we will run away and she must have put some guards towards the jumping pad formation, we need to lay low for a while, maybe in a location where there are more males, I could use a technique to hide your female features so we can hide."

Qinghe put a finger on her chin as she thought about it, she was rather knowledgeable of the phoenix planet layout, even though Yun Jhin got a map, he wanted a location that wasn't on the map.

As they passed a cave Qinghe finally opened her mouth to say:

"I think I know a location, most males that are abandoned are thrown there and there is a low chance for anyone to find us there if you have that technique to hide me."

Yun Jhin got the location from her and decided to follow her directions as he ran towards the village at even quicker speeds than what he was usually using.

He reached the village after 5 days of running without any stops, he was rather exhausted when he reached the village but he quickly got rid of the exhaustion as he looked around.

The village was rather rustic and could even be called primitive as they had huts made from clay and other materials that weren't that sturdy, most of the males were seen wearing rather poor clothes and some of them even wore nothing but some cloth that covered their private parts, most of them were emaciated and crippled considering cultivation base.

Qinghe felt rather sorry for them and Yun Jhin looked at them with narrowed eyes as he told Qinghe:

"I think this is no way for someone to live, Qinghe what you say we purify this village and let all of these poor people go free?"

Qinghe was rather surprised by what Yun Jhin said. He didn't think he was that type of person, but seeing how hard it was living for the males around she felt that his words weren't that wrong. Naturally, Qinghe would disagree with such a thing but Yun Jhin was currently messing with her thoughts using his superior soul willpower, making her see things from his perspective.

At first, he would need to do this to her so later she would accept his plans when she would have to become bait. The village wasn't that big and there were at most 200 males in it.

Yun Jhin razed it to the ground rather easily and absorbed all of them while Qinghe didn't watch, she was a rather soft person and didn't like fighting or killing, when she looked again if she didn't know there was a village where she might have thought that it was just a normal plain.

Yun Jhin shook his head as he patted her head and told her:

"It's ok, it wasn't right for them to live like this, unfortunately, your society doesn't allow all males to have equal opportunities, I'm quite sad about that..."

Hearing about her society made Qinghe quite mad, both at herself and other females, this rage was induced by Yun Jhin's soul willpower which was still messing with her thoughts and emotions at a very small level. He didn't have to do much as she was still madly in love with him which meant his manipulation would work by 200% effectivity.

After seeing her eyes cloud over Yun Jhin chuckled and put her on his back again as he asked her:

"Any more villages like these exist darling? We should liberate all of them as they are in more suffering living like this, don't you agree?"

Qinghe started to mutter the names and locations of the villages as Yun Jhin's eyes gained an evil glint in them, he successfully manipulated her with ease, and it didn't take him much time either!

He was currently laughing inside as he made his way towards the next villages, all he had to do now was absorb all of them, but from what he could see there weren't that many in existence, all males knew how to make themselves useful and there were very few that were discarded in such away.

From his calculations, he realized that he at most would gain around 5-8 thousand and he would still need to absorb 95-92 thousand to finish his phoenix bloodline acquisition, thus after he finished raiding the villages he still needed to use Qinghe to her full potential.

After being mentally manipulated for a while without her even knowing her consciousness started to grow fuzzy as she started to sleep on Yun Jhin's back, she had a content smile on her face as she thought she was doing the right thing informing Yun Jhin about the locations of the villages, she thought that she was actually saving these people, only if she knew she was damning them to an eternity without even being able to reincarnate, what would her expression be?

Yun Jhin knew about it, he chuckled again as he turned his head a bit and looked at her sleeping form and told her with a loving tone:

"You are going to be quite the hero from now on darling, hope you will enjoy your reputation..."
