Chapter 120: 2 years of preparation

Yun Jhin decided to open up the conversation with the plan:

"I have created a technique that should be able to help us go near the jumping pad formation unseen."

He explained a little about his stealth technique and lied that he just created it in these 2 years so they wouldn't question him why didn't he used it back when the war started. The peak sage realm expert nodded, in total, they were around 45 sage realm experts, and with the peak one, they were 46.

Yun Jhin could use his stealth technique to cloak all of them and go towards the jumping pad formation and take it quickly.

The peak sage realm expert looked at Yun Jhin, he still wasn't that sure why would they take the jumping pad formation, were they supposed to run away if they failed again?

So he asked him:

"Don't mind my question but why are we even capturing the jumping pad formation?"

Yun Jhin snorted inside but responded to the man with a gentle smile on his face:

"You might think that it's for us to escape if we fail right? You are not wrong, but since they have scattered manpower to protect the formation we might as well divide and conquer, get rid of those female sages and we will have an easier time to conquer the capital later, also we will increase morale if we publicize that we got rid of some sage females."

Yun Jhin's words made sense to the sage realm expert, and considering there was a chance they might have to skip planet if they needed to it didn't hurt for them to control the formation.

They all nodded in unison as The peak sage realm expert used a technique to make all of them stick to him, he was the quickest due to his peak cultivation base and if he was the one who leads them to the location of the formation they could reach the place faster.

Yun Jhin kept close to the peak sage realm expert as they flew in the skies at extreme speeds, it didn't take them much to reach the jumping pad formation, the waters below seemed to be moving gently on the surface but Yun Jhin could feel countless eyes looking at them from below.

He frowned, it seemed that the females must have deactivated the formation that was supposed to scare away the stronger unintelligent marine life.

Yun Jhin used his stealth technique to cloak all of them as they got closer to the formation, it was still assembled and unactive, but now there were defensive structures around it and the peak sage realm expert could feel live life force being concentrated around those structures.

They were lucky Yun Jhin was with them or else they would have already been attacked by the marine life below them, The sage realm expert could even see some fins sticking out of the water from time to time. The energy they exuded made them almost equal to their whole squad.

Yun Jhin got them closer and closer as he kept the stealth technique on, it didn't take them much time to go over the structures successfully, there were a few females here and there, numbering around 20 and they were at the lower stages of the sage realm, however, from what Yun Jhin could see the structures there were supposed to help them defend even against those with higher cultivation base. Unfortunately, they weren't stealth proof, so Yun Jhin could just waltz around them.

The females were currently abusing a few weaker males, taking their turns with them, even humiliating them by doing some things that they shouldn't normally do even without consent.

The peak sage realm expert frowned seeing all of this, his anger quickly ignited as he whispered to Yun Jhin:

"Get us closer and I shall decapitate all of these vile wenches in one fell swoop!"

Yun Jhin controlled his technique as he moved towards the gathering of females, some were going at it while some were waiting for their turns. It could be seen that one of the males below them was getting weaker and weaker with every female who went to ride him, his Yang energy was quickly getting exhausted, and if this continued it would run dry and he would die.

The peak sage realm expert gritted his teeth as his reddened eyes targeted the females, immediately he created a ki blade unleashing it on those women, decapitating 17 of them in one fell swoop, the three that were still riding the males immediately shouted as they tried to run away, they could feel death really close to their back, and the showering hot blood that reached their backs from the bodies of their comrades just made them double their efforts at fleeing.

Unfortunately, they couldn't do anything as the other males immediately caught them, there were a few males around the middle stages and they could easily catch those lower stages of females.

The men that were abused were then helped with a few pills so they could regain their strength then sent away to a safer place.

Yun Jhin used some spirit stones that the sage realm experts took with them to power the formation and then took control of it, turning it off for the time being.

The peak sage realm expert looked at the three captives they had and decided to ask Yun Jhin what should they do with them:

"We already have enough heads, you can have your fun with them I guess, they have been the ones to have fun with us for long times, you can just do whatever you want with them, but don't kill them, they deserve to be abused for a while."

A big smile appeared on the peak sage realm expert face, he had the same idea as him, they already had enough heads for intimidation and he didn't want to waste these females, it was time for them to return the favor! Even though they couldn't truly be abused to death as the males could, that could only happen if they were gentle with them!

The peak sage realm expert gave Yun Jhin a small salute and flew away with the females and the heads.

Yun Jhin was left alone as he absorbed the bodies of those 20 sage realm experts, he could feel his blood boiling slowly as he finished the absorption, 2 whole years of staying idle and cultivating made him enjoy the sensation more than he should have.

Yun Jhin then left the formation, the Empress should get the news of what happened here soon enough, they wouldn't have enough personnel to send to the formation and if they did, he could continue with divide and conquer, slowly chipping at the Empress's subordinates and then storming the capital! If she was smart she should have centralized all of her strong subordinates in the capital and she was waiting for him for the showdown!

The news spread after a while, 17 dead female sages and 3 captured to be abused by the increasing rebel army, the males started to riot in their cities and villages joining the rebellion, slowly but surely things started to move in Yun Jhin's favor again.

The Empress crushed the throne that she stood on as she tried to get up from it as she shouted:

"HANZEN, HANZEN COME OVER HERE!"

Hanzen appeared in front of his mother as he kneeled to her:

"What is it, dear mother?"

"Don't patronize me, you should have heard the news as well right?"

Hanzen nodded, he wasn't surprised that much, considering the numeric advantage that the males got and the higher innate strength he thought that it was normal for them to lose the jumping pad formation, but why was his mother so angry?

Seeing his half understanding and half puzzled face made the Empress even angrier as she told him:

"You damn oaf, you haven't got the whole news, have you? They killed all of them without any problems or casualties on their side! We lost 20 sages for nothing!"

This made prince Hanzen widen his eyes, how could they have not lost any sages? It was pretty much impossible considering the defensive structures they installed at the formation, what could they have done to take the females by surprise? Even if they were doing their usual activities, they still had a formation meant to alarm them when someone got too close, there were also those marine creatures that would attack the males to weaken them.

The Empress shook her head seeing him not understanding how they could have won the formation's location without any struggle, he decided to use her soul willpower to divination what happened at that time using a little bit of her life, around 2 to 3 years, she didn't have many left anyway so she didn't want to be surprised when they attacked the capital:

"I see, I see, however, this technique can be disturbed if I do that, Hanzen!"

Hanzen immediately stood straight as his mother told him:

"Put down a formation according to these instructions, it should meld with the current defensive formation and create something that will trouble the rebels with doing the same tactic as before, we might even be able to surprise them!"

Hanzen nodded and went ahead to do as his mother told him.

Yun Jhin frowned as he felt his destiny being peaked into for a few minutes, he looked towards the direction of the capital, he was currently in a different camp created by the rebels and met up with Ghin and the others, the other peak sage realm expert was also there and waiting for instructions.

Yun Jhin decided to scrap the plan that made use of his stealth as he announced:

"That old crone, the Empress got news of my stealth technique through some divination, fortunately, she is getting considerably weaker so I could identify her will spying on me, so we will have to change the plan a bit, I'm also sure they have changed the defensive formation meaning that we will be at a disadvantage even though our numbers have increased by quite a lot."

"Here is what we will do for now."

Yun Jhin told them the new plan that he devised quite easily, there will be multiple teams at work during this war, Yun Jhin Ghin and the first peak sage realm expert would be the first and most important team, while the other teams would be used to divide and conquer, the war would start for real and the first team will only act officially after they have conquered a good part of the planet.

Yun Jhin decided to get with guerilla warfare tactics, he couldn't do the same thing as before, the Empress knew that he wanted to absorb people so she would surely control her army again and make them self-destruct, he wanted to attack all of the weaker cities and conquer them, they were already weakened pretty hard considering the males revolted everywhere, even though a lot of them had been caught or killed, some escaped and joined the rebellion.

Yun Jhin looked at the map of the planet as he pointed at the most important cities.

"We shall attack those first, I'm not sure if the Empress will try to do the same thing as she did before, so I will only contact you if I feel something isn't right, but you should contact me first before you attack the cities, Ok?"

The second sage realm expert nodded before he flew away with his team.

The first sage realm expert remained with Yun Jhin and waited for news before they would then go together to the capital later.

It took around 1 day before he got a confirmation that the teams reached the important cities, since he felt that no one was peeking into his destiny anymore that meant that while this could be guessed they shouldn't be sure about it, combined with the fact that they needed to protect the capital Yun Jhin gave the order:

"You are free to attack the cities, do not kill the females, capture them, understood?"

A few understood came from the multiple communication stones that were around Yun Jhin, the real and final war would start now!
